The finished product looks so fab! I've actually been asked to make a "dry scrub" they don't want it emulsified or with too much oils as they don't want it to dissolve too quickly. Currently doing some trials with light weight oils and sugar or dendritic salt. Thank you for sharing this recipe. It's going down in my Tara Recipes Book! ❤🤍🖤

Actually I done see this recipe before and made it.. the only difference is she used Sci and other foaming agents other then that nun new.... I put slsa in mine for foaming and that was a year ago...definitely a good recipe for emulsified sugar scrub..but a very common formula

Just use salt instead of sugar 😊 You don’t need to make any other adjustments to the formula. I personally don’t like using salt myself. That’s why I stick with sugar.
Btms 50 is cationic so it won’t work. If you don’t have poly 80 try 3-4% emulsifying wax nf. You could also try ritamulse scg at 4-5% instead of emulsifying wax nf and poly 80

Yup you can try different emulsifiers. I’m planning on trying it with 4-6% ritamulse scg / ecomulse instead of emulsifying wax nf and poly 80 to get it to be a more naturally compliment scrub

Hi! In one of your body scrub videos, the formula said to use 1.5% preservative (optiphen). The preservative I use (preservative eco) has a recommended usage rate of 1%. How would I change the formula to work with this preservative percentage?
Awesome Tara! I make a scrub that doesn't foam. I use Shea butter, avocado oil, and emulsifying wax, but I notice that the oil separates once I use it. Will the polysorbate 80 help with that? Or should I use less avocado oil and increase my Shea butter? Thank you in advance.
