I finally made my whipped sugar scrubs today. I really love them even if mine didn't come out perfect like yours. I did have one issue with my clear melt and pour soap, I whipped the melted soap slowly with the glycerine, but it never get to soft peaks, it just got hard again, so I re-melted and tried again, and it just settled at the bottom of the bowl once I scooped the scrub out to add the two colorants. The whip is wonderful best one I've had even though the melt and pour soap didn't incorporate that well. I can now add them to my shop.

I do not add any oils or butters to this formula (they decrease lather) but you would have to test. Maybe Glycerin would work. Heyyyyy Friend 👋🏽👋🏽! Thank you so much 😊. It's more about what you are familiar with. I was intimidated by lye for a long time but jumped in. You're gonna be great especially if you are comfortable with soap making 😊 Please keep me posted with your journey.

Does it have to be an essential oil or could you use like a perfume oil

I did not use an essential oil but it can be either an essential oil or a fragrance oil.

Does it supposed to dry hard and melt on the skin?

It's not really hard, it doesn't melt on skin it's a soapy scrub that rinses away clean. The texture is firm and grainy but not hard 😊

Am I able to add oils to this recipe?

In my opinion, I would not because it makes it less foamy. But if you do test it a little at a time and see what works
