I still think Whim's Dad is part of the secrecy of the planet. Also the show had me going thinking the kids were really going to get themselves in a gun fight. Im like, "is Disney gonna cross the line this time?". It really was weird seeing them gun ready walking slowly to their death. Neel looked like he was ready to pee in his pants
Theory: Jude Law is the statue. His name has a similar repeat syllable and he grew up on a similar planet. Theory: Jude Law didn't pay for the stolen herd. I think he said "Oh, just shoot me," because he knows them. Theorem: Elephants hold their trunk on the tail of the elephant in front of them. Fact: I really enjoy this show.
I just saw those episodes of _Fallout_ this month and I can see why you and others are considering the 9 planets as social experiments. Someone said the kids have to be allowed to rebel and break rules (but with consequences) so they grow up and willingly be part of the social order. Although Wim's mother is gone and Fern's father is gone. I wonder why? But I'm told this show was filmed in 2021, so before the _Fallout_ series. Maybe similar ideas then?
The connections to disneys treasure planet which is based on treasure island are very similar… some examples I noticed are names of characters (captain silvo-captain silver) (wim-jim), both have a robot with memory issues, and I’m assuming the treasure is hidden in the mines fern’s grandfather told her about, and once the kids find it, it will trigger a boobytrap set by sm33 original captain… I am enjoying this show more than I thought I would, who knew lol
That would make sense why he would kill his crew: he wasn't on a mission to get treasure, but to eliminate knowledge of At Attin. If so, then going to the other 7 worlds should result in the same thing: coordinates erased. I watched _Treasure Planet_ after this series started and the Pirate was so vain (or greedy) that he decided to booby-trap his treasure and destroy the planet rather than let someone take it after he was gone. I remember a story about a guy finding an old gold mine. But he was so greedy and fearful that he couldn't leave to get help (even from his wife) to retrieve the gold, but would shoot at strangers on sight, even the guy hired by his wife to find him. Finally he set off an explosion at the mine's entrance, killing himself.
My prediction is that it's someone we know. It isn't Han Solo. This person is a scoundrel and they are someone who is wealthy to even afford it. The Onyx Cinder is larger than the Millenium Falcon. I think the captain is Lando Calrissian.
My theory is that the treasure is peace and the ability to rid oneself of your past and the old captain was sick of pirating and hid the ship plus any trace of his whereabouts. I believe Wims father might even be the old captain, it would explain why there seems to be more than meets the eye about him and why Wim is so full of a sense of adventure. I think the planet has been disguised as a gas giant (useless to ever inhabit for life)
Not sure how one peaceful planet for 1000 years or so will be of benefit to the galaxy at large. Now if they had been training warriors and administrators to take over after the Empire fell, then that might have been helpful. But they're far older than that. I suspect they've been wasting their time for 1000 years (i.e. just farming, marrying, raising kids and living peacefully) without technological progress or an affect on history. Maybe social progress, which is why I thought the kids should have resolved the conflict between the tribes, using conflict resolution they learned in school to get along.
Some observations in this episode 4: 1. The satellites look similar to the satellites used in operation cinder 2. In the tribal groups some of its soldiers wear imperial army (old and worn out) helmets 3. The destruction of the coordinates of At Attin looks like it was made with a slicing motion
This show gives me a peter pan vibe, and also I find it interesting that the droid's name is SM33- Captain Hook's sidekick name was Smee, ( SM33 ). Idk, just a thought
@seekfind9531 we will get a flashback of the dad when he was younger on the ship. They find the planet. The dad disagrees with the other pirates and kills them, and buried the ship.
It's pretty strange that AT-Achrun has dealings with off-worlders, which means the rest of the Universe is aware of the existence of one of these mythical "lost old worlds" but are clueless to the existence and location of AT-Atten because SM33 destroyed a tablet in some old tower that no one visits?
Who says the traders gave away the information about At-Achran to others ? Some traders may have found the planet and kept the information to themselves for profit.
I have a couple of objections, but otherwise this has been a fun Star Wars show. The last time I had this much fun with Star Wars was with Rouge One. I think Ahsoka had its moments, and some things with Mandelorian was okay, but this just fun. This is what SW should be.
Every planet is the same, experiment with clones? Make all the planets the same, to every minute detail and then throw in one variable and then see who survives and why?
Anyone else think that the way the At Attin coordinates was defaced could have been done with a lightsaber? Maybe the old captain was a Sith and is now the Supervisor on At Attin. Would support the Undersupervisor being a Sith theory, Rule of Two and all. Just hope this doesn’t somehow tie into “Somehow Palpatine returned.”
If they have tech from 1000 years earlier, then maybe there's a lightsaber somewhere. My understanding is that purging the Jedi removed lightsabers. Not that they were that effective against blaster-fire unless the Force was with you.
I'm really enjoying this show. Brings me back to a lot of the kid adventure movies when I was a kid. Also reminds you that a lot of the bad stuff flies over your head when you were a kid. I especially loved the part where Jod tried to explain back stabbing to the kids. And Neel! Gotta love Neel. He MIGHT get a Samwise Gamgee scene similar to; I can't carry the ring for you, but I can carry you. I really hope he does, though. About the At planets. Maybe the social experiment was about control. 9 planets. Might be that one thing was different in each planet. And At Attin was the planet where you keep people in check by keeping them in the dark. The guy in At Achrann said they traded with other planets. Maybe they were the populace who was allowed to trade. Just a theory.
I wonder if each of the 9bworlds had a different setting and was left to their own devices to see what would work for control and what wouldn't. Similar to experiments on how different stimuli would affect each society., and that's why it wasn't revealed why At Achrann was sent into civil war because each world would have had a different catalyst. We know At Attinn is a peaceful world, At Achrann is a world in constant war, I'm betting another will be completely destroyed with no remaining life, and another would be full of sickness or greed, so on and so forth.
The Rennod in "Rennod's Ghost" is "Donner" backwards. As in Richard Donner, who directed Goonies. I realized this when I watched the show with the captions on and saw the name and wondered who "Rennod" was, too.
Kinda nerdy, but going to say it, probably wrong. But at the 30:50 mark of the episode right when the SM33 is telling them what he remembers, The Cello's in the soundtrack are playing a really slowed down version on Palaptine's Theme (or Sith Theme). I heard it the first time I watched it and thought I would share that.
My Theory is that at atin is a mining planet from the old republic that contains the resource for the old republic credits. In episode 1 Fern talks about if you dont pass the exam then you get sent down to the mines never to be seen again. In the second episode we see that the old republic credit the kid pays the pirate with for food is in mint condition, implying that they are made on at atin. The great Work is definitely a way to hide the actual work from the rest of the people on the planet, and is probably why the people on at akrin went into civil war because they found out that their "great work" was a lie. I have a feeling that they are going to make it back to at atin but jude law is going to be either trapped or the kids reveal the great work somehow and civil war breaks out
What's interesting about At Achran is that some of the Troik tribe members were wearing Imperial army helmet/goggles, implying the empire might be involved in its fall.
Pretty sure they mentioned getting business from offworld, somehow, they are after all aware of outsiders, my take is that they got all that crap from scrappers, not necessarily the Empire.
Fun fact : Strix is played by french actor Matthieu Kassowitz, which is quite famous in France (no superstar, but had quite a good filmography in the 90's/2000. And I have NO idea how the hell he winded up playing in a Star Wars show.
SM33 original captain might be someone who is in some high position at AtAttin, or maybe their descendants, enjoying a luxurious life and does not have to worry about someone chasing him
@@emergencyawesome Yeah one did say something like _'did we fall asleep for 100 years'?_ But I dunno, my little bet is that the robot saying it was At Achrann is a misdirect. Edit, oh, my 2nd bet is that the planet barrier is some kind of _'time shield'_ and that the parents accidentally crippled it when they crossed the barrier looking for the kids in the next episode. Then the current version of the planet is just a bunch of decedents of At Attin that devolved into the Lord of the Flies.
I thought time travel at first, immediately confirming my "Flight of the Navigator" theory! 😂 I think the treasure people seek from these planets is gonna be the peaceful society. And I think the leaders know something horrible had happened in the past and they try to protect the kids from whatever it could be.
Like he killed everyone and deactivated his robot with a trap just in case someone found it… he used everyone to get his mission accomplished and he deceived them all… look like Jude is an ancestor to that guy and he wants to state claim to his heir… that’s the treasure.
Well, a possibility can be that the planets are replicas of each other and that any of the other planets have an identical tower with the coordinates of the planets. In that case, a trip to any planet, and tower, could reveal the location of At Attin.
Do you think that the crew will have to go to the seven other planets in order to find At Attan? ALL of them? Somehow, I don't think that The Treasure is money, jewels, or something of monetary value
In The Prisoner books, it was revealed that there were three identical Villages and they would knock people unconscious and move them from one to the other to disorient them.
6:08 I think the fact that Jon Na Nawood remembers his home world is a signal that he was not trained by the Jedi, who would have taken him before his earliest memories to because a Jedi.
Sm33 is back to base directive to kill anyone who ask the location of the At planet but, i hope he get reactivated and hoping wiping of that Old command of hid dead captain.
Great vid. You got me thinking. What if the "Supervisor" is a descendant of the captain? So why settle for a treasure when you could have an entire hidden society from the republic to basically work for you and carry on the traditions for generations? Just a slightly cynical theory. The usual from me. 😂
I’ve never seen the holiday special lol. I’d love to see them do a brand new one but far better then what ever the special maybe an animated one where through the world between worlds we see characters from different times come together
One of the adults mentioned trading with off-worlders so either faction could have traded for that old battle droid tank. I mean, the Seperatists likely had leftover machines and wanted to make a profit after the Clone Wars ended, and sold or traded to this planet.
This episode is another that seems to break the rule of "Show, don't tell" for video stories. Jod showing up as a _fait accompli_ or _deus ex machina_ was pretty lame. The kids should have figured out how to solve the conflict. Maybe they're taught conflict resolution in school so they all get along on their "boring" planet. But if he is the pirate that killed all those people in the beginning and led his crew to their deaths for nothing, then maybe he and SM-33 took out the rival faction's warriors, and he kept the money? Others yesterday suggested it, too.
I think KBs headgear is a vital monitor. Her parents in Episode 3 are panicking And state she has a medical condition. I’m guessing in the next episode or two, Jod is going to have to save her from what ever the health condition is.
Not sure why you stated that this show is set long before Episode I (10:09). It has always been marketed as part of the "Mandoverse." One confirmation of this being set post Episode IV, at a minimum, was Kh'Ymm's comment in Ep. 3 about the kids not being aware of the destruction of Alderaan.
A theory I have is that the two adults on At Addin. Verns Mom and Wims dad. One is the Captain or Descendants of him and the other is the supervisor. Because the ship on at Addin so the CPT is there or his body. And they love there work and the is always working. Both of Neils parent's were home when go back from school. And in the first episode both kids past the Supervisor Tower. And the Mine Vern mentioned in the first episode is the treasure and supplied the other 8 planets and that's why at Addin is the only one left.
I think they are setting us up for a reveal of a well known Star Wars character and I think with all of these pirates and scoundrels around we might see Lando Calrissian pop up somewhere. I wouldn't be shocked if it was Lando's ship they are on. Think about it. It's not going to be Han Solo, so who is the next best choice? Look at that statue and tell me that doesn't look like something Lando would wear. They are on one of the 9 planets already, which means if they go to another one it would be one of the other 8. Not "one of the other 9" as was stated twice. Also Jude Law's character is Jod Na Nawood.
15:06 the coordinates looks burned, like a lighsaber or a torch, but looking like 33 doesnt have one and uses the one on the ship, makes me wonder if there use to be jedi on the supervisor tower or at least an abandoned jedi temple on the planet or the tower itself with lighsabers inside.
Thanks Charlie👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Nice catch with the grammar lesson. I did think that he may have been programmed or had part of his memory wiped. I'm enjoying this show more than you know. 🌟🤰🚼🐑👼👑🐪🐪🐪🎁📯🎄🎆🤗💕
Wim’s Father is the captain because he’s always moving with so much caution and we don’t know what happened to his mother. Everyone has two parents except for him
Very true. If I’m honest, that lack of emotion from the cast was the only big thing for me for the acolyte.. I accepted from the get go it wouldn’t be Star Wars, Star Wars 😂 and kept it separate. But these kids are killing it
they have a map of the planets arrangements, all the planet names, and the coordinates for the other planets... seems like simple math to find the missing location..
I'm sticking to the "Fallout Vault" theory I had since the beginning. Maybe not as "social experimenty", but some succeeded while others failed, and the reasons might be important.
I don't think sm-33's old captain isn't dead. I think he's still on At-Attin hiding and possibly in control of the supervisor. Its just a theory but if you think about it it makes sense. If SM-33 and his captain went to At-Attin together and SM- 33 never left then the captain never left either. So if he's not dead then he's still on the planet.
I wonder if all the those planets are all clones including the people and Aliens? And that’s the great work? Can’t wait till the next episodes for the reveal. Great breakdown btw.
So is the captain of the ship they found now the supervisor of ATATEN? Or maybe one of the kids parent? Maybe whim's dad since there's no signs of a mother and he definitely looked worried the last time we saw him.

Seem like a fall out scenario with the 9 hidden planets right? Each one is a different experience.
My theory is that the supervisor will be the old pirate captain. But could be wrong. Either way love the show and these breakdowns
Theory: Jude Law is the statue. His name has a similar repeat syllable and he grew up on a similar planet.

Me too.
Skeleton Crew is better than The Acolyte. Really having a good time lol
Awesome!
Low bar, but true 😂

I just have to add, when Jod said, "Just shoot me.", I had to pause the show for a moment so I could finish laughing.

Haha Jod (Jude) is killing it as a baby!
This show has the potential to be something really special. I think they’re going to pull it off, too. 🏴☠️

Hell ya. Nice 1-2 punch with Arcane 2

All girls love that sweet trunk 😂
The connections to disneys treasure planet which is based on treasure island are very similar… some examples I noticed are names of characters (captain silvo-captain silver) (wim-jim), both have a robot with memory issues, and I’m assuming the treasure is hidden in the mines fern’s grandfather told her about, and once the kids find it, it will trigger a boobytrap set by sm33 original captain… I am enjoying this show more than I thought I would, who knew lol
C-Can't say I know no Skeleton Crew. Quite a nice reveal, I'm wondering if SM 33's previous captain in the Supervisor of At Attin
I had the same thought
That would make sense why he would kill his crew: he wasn't on a mission to get treasure, but to eliminate knowledge of At Attin. If so, then going to the other 7 worlds should result in the same thing: coordinates erased.

Pretty sure it's Jod, but who knows lol
My prediction is that it's someone we know.
It isn't Han Solo. This person is a scoundrel and they are someone who is wealthy to even afford it. The Onyx Cinder is larger than the Millenium Falcon. I think the captain is Lando Calrissian.
Your prediction is wrong. lol
I think the planet has been disguised as a gas giant (useless to ever inhabit for life)
I also think the ship was hidden, hidden from the people. The Droids have too much control to have missed that.

1. The satellites look similar to the satellites used in operation cinder
2. In the tribal groups some of its soldiers wear imperial army (old and worn out) helmets
3. The destruction of the coordinates of At Attin looks like it was made with a slicing motion
You think that the cut was made with a Lightsaber?
Same though here, probably an escaping jedi
I thought I saw an imperial army cruiser like the ones the droids used in the clone wars…
maybe its just my imagination could have been SM33's fist but great slice though
Jod was hilarious this episodes great neel moments and hayna was dope.
Yep my boy Neel bagged her… Nice guys for the win!
I like the 'social experiment' theory Charlie - kind of reminds me of the Vaults in Fallout.
The headless statue will have an elephant head :)

I’ve never seen the holiday special lol. I’d love to see them do a brand new one but far better then what ever the special maybe an animated one where through the world between worlds we see characters from different times come together
Next episode gonna be KB time to shine !
Thanks, Charlie! ✨💀✨
You're welcome!

finally catching up with viewing. Things are looking better than I really expected with all of these plot twists.
This series is a reminder of how many sw fans want to see the old republic lore brought to the screen in all its majesty
One of the adults mentioned trading with off-worlders so either faction could have traded for that old battle droid tank. I mean, the Seperatists likely had leftover machines and wanted to make a profit after the Clone Wars ended, and sold or traded to this planet.
I wonder if Jod kept the credits and used the force to overcome the situation he found himself in with that other faction.
Charlie where’s that Superman trailer break down 😂😂😂😂
Really enjoying this at 30 🤣. Thanks as always Charlie, and Merry Christmas everyone ✨🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼✝️🍸🍺☮️
SM33 is like their Mimir under Freya’s spell. Mimir: Baldur is blessed with invulnerability to all threats, physical or magical.
Great show Great video
Amazing show and can even watch it with the kids . Stoked for more
Not sure why you stated that this show is set long before Episode I (10:09). It has always been marketed as part of the "Mandoverse." One confirmation of this being set post Episode IV, at a minimum, was Kh'Ymm's comment in Ep. 3 about the kids not being aware of the destruction of Alderaan.
its crazy how this show might actually be solid
SM33: “I can’t say, I remember no At Attin.”
5 minutes later…
SM33: “Oh I do remember, At Attin!
Thanks Charlie👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Nice catch with
the grammar lesson. I did think that he
may have been programmed or had part
of his memory wiped. I'm enjoying this
show more than you know.
🌟🤰🚼🐑👼👑🐪🐪🐪🎁📯🎄🎆🤗💕
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wim’s Father is the captain because he’s always moving with so much caution and we don’t know what happened to his mother. Everyone has two parents except for him
Need a season 2 of this show I really hope they find a way to extend the story
Its sad to see how much better the cast of skeleton portrays emotion than the cast of the acolyte considering they are kids
This show I’m so hooked
Did you ever notice that the main chime music score is a riff on 'Away in a Manger'?
hi Emergency Awesome
The 9 planets just remind me of Marvels Multiverse.
Each planet the same but evolved different.
The old Captain is the Supervisor.
Dirty pirate!
Emergency awesome I wish you a Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!
Whoever survived on that ship I think is the supreme supervisor on there home world where it all started from.
Maybe one of the dead pirates on the ship was the original red-headed, Crimson Jack. Let's compare the comic book outfits versus the dead pirates.
Maybe SM-33's previous captain is still alive in At Attin. He could be the leader in At Attin. Maybe Fern's Grand Father or Grand Mother.
I think Wim’s dad knows more than he is letting on
SM-33's captain is Captain EO.
Maybe they'll go to Babu Frik to extract SM-33's memory.
So is the captain of the ship they found now the supervisor of ATATEN? Or maybe one of the kids parent? Maybe whim's dad since there's no signs of a mother and he definitely looked worried the last time we saw him.
they could just take sm-33's arms and legs off before they tunr him back on. that would solve the "pulling them apart" problem.
Very fallout of Star Wars that have nine protected planets with a civilization on each one like an experiment to peace
I need an SM-33 Black Series figure NOW! 🙌 Hopefully with arms that extend and the little rat that lives in his head. 😊
What if Sm-33 and his old captain destroyed the other 8 jewels including At Atchron?
