I have a feeling the old captain was hired by the At Attin supervisor to destroy any records of it's location in exchange for a life in paradise. Then the supervisor used At Attin's turrets and droids to take out the captain when he returned.
@@ruthbennett7563 @tracycieply9737 If it's his mother or father, then explain the hundreds of years of dirt, grass and trees that grew on the upside-down pirate ship the kids ended up on?
1) When they landed on At Achron I totally thought for a moment that we were getting some time travel shennanigans 2) After this ep. I now think that SM-33's old captain is actually the At Attin Supervisor. I think he's either a droid or some sort of hybrid like Grievous, giving him a long lifespan. They arrived on At Attin long ago, the captain maybe betrayed/killed the crew after they took over At Attin and taking the role of Supervisor, this is also somehow the reason that At Attin is the only 'surviving' jewel.
When the kid you've come to pick up gives you a flying hug, the adults around you take that as a clear sign. Speaking as a dad, I'm thinking of a specific example from my life.
I don't think the sulfurous bog is Aldhani. Because SM-33 mentioned that, but SM-33 has been in that ship, underneath all those trees for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Or, at least, maybe it WAS that way before. It wouldn't make sense for him to say that now, because he wouldn't know what Aldhani is like now.
18:40 I need more hayna and neel. Like take him back to the old school and have hayna sitting next to him patting a wet rag on his forehead… I just need more of these two
I really loved this episode! I was surprised at the emotional beats it hit. And when the credits rolled, I realized why--this was the episode was directed by Daniels. It was really all about Neel, who I think is the Waymund Wong (Everything Everywhere All At Once) of the series, in his disdain for fighting, along with his unwavering belief that kindness is a strength. Here's the scene from the film that came to mind: Waymond Wang: You think I'm weak don't you? CEO Waymond: All of those years ago when we first fell in love, your father would say I was too sweet for my own good. Maybe he was right. Waymond Wang: Please! Please! Can we... can we just stop fighting? CEO Waymond: You tell me it's a cruel world and we're all running around in circles. I know that. I've been on this earth just as many days as you. Waymond Wang: I know you are all fighting because you are scared and confused. I'm confused too. All day, I don't know what the heck is going on. But somehow, this feels like it's all my fault. CEO Waymond: When I choose to see the good side of things, I'm not being naive. It is strategic and necessary. It's how I've learned to survive through everything. Waymond Wang: I don't know. The only thing I do know... is that we have to be kind. Please, be kind - especially when we don't know what's going on. CEO Waymond: I know you see yourself as a fighter. Well, I see myself as one too. This is how I fight.
My favourite part of this ep was Jod diving and falling to the floor when pressing SM-33’s off switch. Like, there was no reason at all to dive there, he could have just pressed the button while still standing 😂
33's captain is Wim's dad. He was more concerned they left the barrier than leaving the planet. The face he gave in the second episode tells me all I need to know. Also Silvo knows him for sure.
When 33 declares “I can’t say that I don’t remember any At Adden”, he is using the double negative which cleanly means “I say I do remember any At Adden.” Like Pink Floyd’s “We don’t need no education” which declares how the kids really need education (though not necessarily by that post WWII public school system).
I absolutely love the SM-33 head rat. I reeeeally want them to have a more important role than it should. Idk why but it would make me so very passively happy
What? I assumed that the Turbo lazer cannon is on their school back on their home planet. The planets are like identical why would we not assume their school has a cannon also.
Thank you!!! they were way off on a salvaged turbo laser. this is Chekov's gun especially the way they showed how to use it. Neel will use it by the end of the season back on at attin for sure
SM33 "yeah I remember Warriors like these, snuck right past them." Jod "yeah but what about the treasure?" I like how he didn't pick up on that they weren't alone Jod "you know what? Just shoot me."
Greek mythology flows hard in star wars. That's why most of my characters in SWTOR have mythology naming. My main DPS Merc was named Kcharon. The ferryman who transported the souls on the river Acheron. Had to play with the name but it was perfect for a Merc in SWTOR. Haven't logged in that game for awhile now but was top parse Merc on my server for a little bit.
it really makes me wonder if the empire discovered some of the planets and destroyed them for what ever reason, because the level of destruction is almost on par with a orbital bombardment and the fact the hatten and trocki uses what looks like imperial army helmets would prove that either the empire at one point came across those planets and decided to nuke em after they probably rebelled against the ground forces such as imperial army troopers. or outsiders traded old imperial helmets and equipment with some hides or other valuable things the hatten and trocki had. but there no doubt that those helmets were imperial in nature but how they came to get them is a question worth an answer.
The word infantry refers to the part of an army that fights on foot. In the past, the term was used to describe foot soldiers who were too young or inexperienced to serve in the cavalry.
Everyone keeps talking about how weird it is he "wanted the kids" but it was very clear that the kids knew him already and weren't threatened or warry of him
Has anyone wondered how "Snowball" the Rat survived, at the very least decades, if not centuries, entombed in a sealed spaceship, under the ground with no food or water?
Palpatine probably had something to do with Att-atin because he sent troops into the unknown region to explore further planets and areas to plunder them it’s just a possibility
Why are there none of Neel’s species visible on the ruined planet? Even the leader reaches out to his face in gentle curiosity. In other news, I’m surprised you didn’t mention that the leader was the romantic interest in the beloved film, Amelie, as well as a director in his own right.
Pretty sure the people bought off world gear which would explain the imperial gear the resistance leader did mention trading for weaponry. While the turbo laser is from the days of “the old republic” looks more ancient compared to the ones in the prequel and OT. Maybe we will see a clean fancy one on “at attin”
Loving this show, the goonies is one of my all the favs so this just works great for me, jist hope they stick the landing haha.... The 33 memory plot is so gooood
Okay the headless statue is the same figure which all the figures turn to in the founding fathers mural on At Attain. They are the supervisors on each of the planets. The Supervisor on at attain was the same species as Neil. The reason it survived was that supervisor tended towards piece The reason they are all assigned jobs is to keep them busy so they don't rebel. The safety druids are their as prison guards to keep order ( like the empire). The planets are all experiments in creating utopian societies. Kept isolated to prevent contamination of the experiment. No "Safety droids" are present on the destroyed mirror planet. The other planets either fell through rebellion or were destroyed. I wouldn't be surprised if the clans were based on the founding fathers. Another thing I'd say is in the founding father mural the figure on the right is turned away where from the others a fracture, where all the other founders are turning to the one on the left celebrating him are leader. The last thing I note is each episode has been built around a member of the skeleton crew as protagonist. Building their storeys.
Just to let you know those orbital satellites I really do think they’re the ones from battlefront two in the storyline that for operation cinder contingency plan if the emperor got killed, they would use the satellites to destroy empire worlds so the rebellion cannot use anything they could benefit from.

I dont care what anyone says i love this series
WHY IS NO ONE WATCHING?!?

Me too
I love it to
It's better than the acolyte anyway
Nobody is going to believe that Neel has a girlfriend from space canada!
Space Quebec to be specific
More like what people think space California looks like
Oh hey, this is my girlfriend, Tunes. “hey Tunes”
We must protect Neel.

I think the Captain is the Supervisor.
I love how Neel has a chance to stand up for himself and saying to SM-33: “Hey!, Leave them alone!” That’s my boy right there!
They grow up so fast 🥲
The supposed "Supervisor" of At Attin is really giving me Wizard of Oz esque "man behind the curtain" vibes.
It also has alot of fall put vault vibes with the overseer
I had a similar thought myself i think too much time has past for it to be the previous captain also the ship wasnt buried it crashed upside down.
at the end of the episode why wouldn’t they just chose to go to the coordinates of the other planets and see if there is coordinates there 😭
I was literally screaming tht get all those coordinates and hope in the tower at one of them is the coordinates for at attin
SM-33 and his old captain may have visited those planets and destroyed the coordinates to At Attin as well.
I think that might still be on the table
The Owl said all of those other 8 planets where destroyed.
I think they are going to manage to reprogram SM-33 so he’s no longer hostile towards them.
When Jod said " you know what just shoot me" 🤣🤣 funniest line in Star wars we've had in a while.
Kneel before Neel!!!
Cant wait for the next episode!! Also the way he says limb from limb is gonna live with me for ever now
Snowball is the former captain
In a humorous way, I was thinking the same thing LOL
I was wondering about that.
Love Neel! Eriks button down is 🔥. This series is one of my favorites can't wait to see what "the treasure" is.
14:48 you said blowed!?+? As opposed to blew! Come on Vossy. You're better than that
I think it's implied that Aldani was a sulfurous bog world waaaaay before the Empire.

the disney streaming model = drop 2/3 episodes the first week. 40 min each, decrease length by 5 min per episode until the series ends.
So dumb keeps us coming back tho
