As a two tour combat veteran of Vietnam I salute those two you men. Their parents should be proud of them and the way they raised them.

The young boy said referring to the recently passed soldier "when someone dies, you have the release your respect". So precious, heart felt and caring.

My grandpa was a WW2 veteran and I had a deep respect for him and all veterans.
That's my grandpa and that really hits the heart and i know that put a big smile on grandpa's face

I have been shocked lately at the amount of younger people that seem to be lost and seeing these young men showing tremendous respect for the Veteran that passed away and not even knowing him gave me back hope for this world! Precious boys! Parents taught them right!
This is parenting done right. I grew up in the 60’s when Vietnam veterans were scowled at and spat on. They were my heroes growing up and my mentors in the Army. No one prays for peace more than a Soldier, Marine, Sailor or Airman. May God bless each and every one of you!!!
These little boys are not my children but as a mother I am so very proud of them. Children learn what they see, these boys must have amazing families. Rest in peace Mr. Yorn and thank you for your service.

I'm A vet, and so was my father and grandfather. To see these young boys stop and pay their respect for this man they didn't know brought tears to my eyes. Their act wasn't just them paying respect for a veteran who had passed, but was more. As one of them said, it's only right to pay respect when you see a funeral. So, they would have stopped even if it wasn't a military funeral. They honor the person who has passed, and give them the respect they deserve military or not. It shows they have had a good moral upbringing, so kudos to their parents. To their parents, you have my respect for raising such wonderful and honorable young men. Thank you! This is beautiful. When children understand the importance of our veterans, I have hope for the country. It's sad our president doesn't have the same respect for Americans lives as these kids do, if he did he wouldn't be leaving hundreds if not thousands of Americans stranded in Afghanistan. Our motto is never leave a man behind. It's sad that our president doesn't think like that and he's willing to let Americans rot in Afghanistan with no way home.
