As an Army Vet myself, I was so emotional watching this video. I was 😭😢🥺 when they all came to help him and I was also 😡🤬🤯 by the things I was hearing. Thankfully I never suffered any physical injuries from the war but I feel his pain. Having those invisible afflictions and nobody believes you. My own psychiatrist called me a “crazy veteran.” That was the part that really hit home for me and I bawled my eyes out. People don’t understand what we went through and what we are going through today because of those events in the past. The only people who truly understand are the ones who went through it with us. The day I came home from overseas, I walked to the store to get my mom some milk and these guys that were in a truck threw unopened beer cans at me just for wearing my uniform. It’s truly a disgrace how some people in America treat our Veterans! We deserve to be treated with respect. Right after 9/11 I graduated high school as a sophomore and joined the Army. I didn’t have to go. I wanted to go. Knowing full well I’d be deployed. I love my country and will protect it until my dying breath!
Thank you sir for your service. My dad served in WWII and 3 brothers in Vietnam. My brothers weren't allowed to wear their uniforms home and had to leave the airport through designated doors for their own safety. The ignorance of so called humans in this country never stop to amaze me. I would proudly stand up for and even take a bullet for any American Veteran. May God continue to bless you.
7:37 “I’m army” then with a smile, as a marine I might add, he says, “Oorah.” So kind, gentle, and touching. Absolutely love the brotherhood that all those who have served share.
“If he is a war veteran she shouldn’t be treating him like that.” That’s absolutely true. But even if he’s not a veteran, no disabled person should ever be treated that way. And sadly many are. In fact, no one should be treated that way, period.
True, i am not an american so all of this veteran stuff is so weird to me. If I would see someone from the army here i wouldnt thank this person for anything😅 thats a cultural difference. BUT you have to stand up for people no matter how they are or were
@G That's terrible you shoudn't do that. I understand that you have a different political view but you should never harm others just cause they don't have the same opinion or view as what you have. Besides attacking a man with a handicap is just so horrible. Just don't do it again. Imagne if you were old. Cause we're all gonna be old someday. Would you like it if some kids threw stuff at you then?
I’m a democrat and hate war but these soldiers and veterans are not the problem! I had a grandfather, father, and 2 brothers, as well as my husband who all served and I respect the hell out of all for doing something I wouldn’t (not good at being yelled to do something lol). I don’t like war or anything associated with it but also realize a lot of crud happens and to protect us they voluntarily go and do what has to be done, and then have to live with all it comes with mentally and physically! RESPECT THEM! Take a little time to be empathetic!
@@lmGenisys Guess where those terrorists came from. The US armed the mujahideen which was made of local afghanis. The mujahideen split into two groups - Taliban and some other one which wasn't extremist. It's either cuz US was dumb or because US is a selfish, idiotic country which sucks and will do anything to protect its own interests like oil. Even ruin the environment! Probably the latter. PS. @@pauljordan4452 Yes exactly. It’s unfortunate and so wrong. We shouldn’t expect people to conform if they’re not harming anyone. They should feel free to be themselves instead of worrying about fitting in. It’s sad.
@busy catter Oh, I didn’t mean to insinuate that veterans haven’t been mistreated. I was more so emphasizing that people should respect one another no matter the circumstances/past that they have. I meant that there shouldn’t have to be a reason as to why they’re disabled or different in any way; society as a whole needs to work on accepting that not everyone acts the same way instead of pushing people to conform. I think the segment was just supposed to highlight that it’s something army vets do deal with. They could have just done it on someone who is disabled, which they have already done. But brain injuries is something army vets deal with a lot and then deal with the mistreatment of it and people not understand so the segment is just to bring awareness to it.

When she said “Do I look like your babysitter?”, I started sobbing. My dad suffered a TBI. My mom took him out to eat once and asked the server to watch him while she quickly used the restroom, as he was quite unstable and would sometimes wander off on his own. He told her no and that he is not a babysitter. I don’t understand how people can be so evil. I would risk losing my other customers to make sure that those with a disability knew that they are cared for and they matter.
Was the server busy? The diner is not a daycare or nursing home. The wait staff has to bring food to the diners. That's their job. Your mother should have asked other patrons nearby to raise an alarm if your dad started wandering towards the door.

The mujahideen split into two groups - Taliban and some other one which wasn't extremist. Do your OWN research and form your OWN opinions, don’t buy into what someone else is saying. We have a lot more rights than most countries and you should be thankful for your freedom😤
ASMR Ross is you typing this illegal? Nope didn’t fucking think so
This is one of the best episode of WWYD 🥰 To all the vets out there ~ Thank you for your service 🙏💞
Aye that “Hooah” it hit me, the mutual respect we should have for not only veterans but everyone in general
That was an Oorah. He’s a Marine
@@user-jq4kh1th9b I heard it as a Hooah or Hoorah, since he was talking to someone who had served in the Army, I know he's a marine but the captions said "Hoo-rah" I may be wrong though
@@fabriziodiaz6136 totally what I heard too. He was responding and showing support to the guy saying he was army.
"Why would I not help him"
SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
Only karen I respect 💅🏼✨periodt 🤪😌
When the marine Corp veteran said "HOORAH" I shed a tear... Mad love for all those who stood up ❤️💯
same man
It made me feel so warm inside
Yes... you are right.. you are very right man.
Omg ikr that was super sweet and awesome name and I like your pic
The us military nuked Japan and killed the buffalo and sprayed agent orange on Vietnam veterans should not get Glory unless they were drafted
This is the one thing I admire most from Americans. Their willingness to serve without question and the way people respect those servicemen and women.
Even if he wasn’t a veteran , no one with disabilities should be mistreated!! All humans deserve respect! Thank you for all who stand up for what right!
not all humans
Is it a coincidence that the First woman was wearing a shirt that said: *Sorry if I looked interested*
OMG WTF now that u pointed it out im am now down to 0 braincells
And the second guy had ABC on his hoodie 😂😂
_AAAAAAAAAAAAAA_
lol I didn’t notice 😂
One dude has a hat with Vietnam written on it lollll
That Marine who said "Hoorah" damn I almost teared.
This hits home I have friends from church and high school are in the milltary

I'm Irish. I love the way most people in America appreciate their Military and the service they give.
That “Hoo-rah” just hits different
Reminded me of Dempsey from black ops
Its oorah
me too, I teared up, my husband was a Marine during VN, he didn't serve over there because he was deaf in one ear and the other ear very hard of hearing. He could of went home from boot camp but he chose to stay in. He's been gone since 05. If I ever see a Vet mistreated I'd stand up for them too.
@@janetfranklin2223 thank you for taking care for a brave soul, thank him for his service for me.
@@julietkharat3042 Oorah is Marine Corps, miss.
Let’s be honest , this show points out how many people that are eavesdropping on you at anytime
Not really sometimes these actors say something that cuts through the room like damn tracy lol
RESPECT
Hahaha underrated comment
Nathan: lol 😂
Nahh, the actors say negative words louder to catch people's attention.
That lady wearing the purple “Sorry if I looked interested” sweatshirt was somewhat ironic. But she was a powerhouse, I loved those two! And all those people who banded behind that amazing man, veteran or no, he is a strong, brave young man! If I saw someone treating a veteran that way, I might dump my water glass over the waitress’s head.
those shirts are meant for a certain kind of people imo
I was thinking what if they lady in the purple shirt got up and got ahold of that girl man she would rip her to shreds
Lol, thanks for the comments. My goal was to never have to get physical, but was very ready to handle her if she didn’t leave this man alone. I won’t stand for anyone being mistreated. And my shirt was a complete coincidence😂
Luvli 90 What a pleasure to meet you! I applaud you and your friend. Simply put...thank you for caring!
People standing up for what is right . What a soldier 🌹
'Freedom has a taste that the protected will never appreciate' - man... words like this can only be spoken by a man who has seen the worst.
I’ll never forget those words.
That saying is powerful and so true
😭😭😭
God created war so that Americans would learn geography.

I don’t understand these replies to your comment. Your response is adult and fitting, those replies simply are not.
X Grandpa lmao what did they say
Jennifer Webster they were talking to someone who said something controversial ig
That Marine at the end, is a beautiful human being. Even though I am not an American, I would say to this man, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR 🙏
