This one really hit close to home for me. My Dad had an accident as a young child that left him with a TBI, which led to him not being able to read. He was a damn hard worker though! He learned hands on what to do at the many different jobs he had, and he took things so seriously on getting the job done right. When he left a job at a casino where he replaced lightbulbs, the casino had to hire a couple more people to do the same job that my Dad did all on his own. He sure taught me how to be a hard worker, and that you can be a hard worker no matter your circumstances! When he worked a janitorial job, he taught a new hire how to do things right, no taking shortcuts. Later on that new hire told my Mom and I that he was so glad that my Dad trained him and that he trained him well.

My condolences.
Your Dad was the kind of employee every company would LOVE to have. Hard working, dedicated, loves to help others, and he refused to be a victim of his circumstances. A lot of people would say "Oh, I have a TBI - I have to go on disability payments. I can't work". And they would spend their lives living off of taxpayer's money. Your Dad wasn't going to let that happen - he knew he could work to support his family, and he knew that was the right thing to do. If I owned a company, I would hire someone like him in a minute! I'm sorry for your family that he's gone now. He passed on a great legacy to you and your siblings by being the kind of person he was. You must miss him very much. 💐🙏

As soon as someone says ‘oh no I forgot my reading glasses’, you best damn read out the flavours to the customer.

I found out a friend of mine couldn't count and had no concept of money. while at a coffee shop. cashier asked for amount , he held out a handfull of change, she stood there looking at him as he stood looking at her. I understood imediatly and took the correct change from his hand and gave it to the cashier. After my friend left I told the cashier whenever someone holds out a handfull of change just take the money needed , like my friend they may not be able to count or have the concept of money and must rely on Honesty from Cashiers or they know but are testing your Honesty. The Blind must also rely on Hoest people as well.
There was a blind woman on my paper route when I was a kid. She would hold out a bill when I would collect the payment and ask if it was a 5 or 10 or whatever. I remember thinking how easy it would be for someone to take advantage of her. I really hope nobody ever did.

This is a true story.
I lived beside I should say my best friend, he was an elderly man who taught me more than 13 years of school. His wife passed when their children were really young, and this man worked for 50 years at the same plant and was never late or never missed a day of work bc his children depended on him. One son was mentally challenged, but my friend still never gave up. When he retired, he received an award for 50 years that he hung so proudly on his wall. I would go visit him every day and he would have all his letters and mail for me to read to him. One thing I noticed is every morning like clock work he would be reading his bible and spending time with God in prayer and true intimacy 🙌 I often wondered how he was able to read his bible but couldn't read anything else. I know that I know God made a way for him. I miss him so much and our friendship 😢 I know he's resting in the arms of Jesus now. Rip Mr. Guthrie, for I know I will see you again. ❤️ 🫶🙏
my grandfather on my dad side was born in Mexico, and his father my great grandfather left him and his wife, including his other children so my grandfather had to quit school in the second grade so he can go to work to support his family.
So when it comes to rude people like that saying oh, it’s pretty pathetic that he doesn’t know how to read. It really just pisses me off. because you don’t really know what a person is going through even in his past we as humans have to do better, we have to help each other out.

I wish I could be one of their mean actors cause I'm a master at hurting people's feelings, also I'm handsome so people will be quick to hate me.
Kevin Zhou- That’s very humble of you Kevin ! 😂
Kevin Zhou that’s a very... interesting way to speak of yourself
Same
@@reecem367 hapa and handsome?
Okay but their accents makes this 100% cuter😭🥰

3:57 that was the sweetest HI i have ever listened in my whole life
The blonde girl seemed very shy but was brave enough to step forward and help. Good person.
there was like 5 blonde people.
BP5M yea I was kind of hesitant but the cashier kept making me mad soo I did what my gut told me to do :b
Airelle Herron You're awesome.
@@airelleherron1447 woah nice! Never thought you will be here lol. Good for stepping up!
@@airelleherron1447 wow is that u?
The actor was so believable, that watching him or even just listening to him really broke my heart.
Fab Access with Marex ikr I was tearing up
Fab Access with Marex then Chris Hansen comes out take a sit
I am a teacher and I know how it feels when someone struggles to read... not everybody has the opportunity to learn to read or the opportunity to go to school. I literally cry while watching this whole video.
I love all these supportive people. Y’all are so full of love it’s so beautiful♥️
I feel so bad for the dude fully knowing he’s an actor.
What if he actually IS illiterate?? 🤔
@@eharper7 how could he read the script lol
Emma Harper Then he needs to go back to fucking school. It’s sad how many ADULTS are illiterate, they are all morons who forget schooling exists.
@@TitanCrusher101 Lmao you're a fucking idiot
Titan Raps did you not watch the video
The actress playing the barista is very convincing.
She wasn’t acting
She just had a very punchable face
Edgy Bakuhoe O.K edgy man
Yes and very sneaky creeping into the background of shots.
Edgy Bakuhoe or she’s just a good actress. if she was playing the victim everyone would see her as that to it’s how acting works
Great video, I really enjoyed it. Interesting to see the emotional awareness always being present, but the ability to effectively handle the situation being more effective for the older bystanders
Amazing how acts of kindness bring a tear to the eye faster than acts of cruelty
My dad can’t read. His parents abused him so he never really got an good education. I’m just so happy these people stepped up.
Thank you some much for all the likes and support!
respect
I’m sorry to hear that 😔😔😔
Molli Grace I’m sorry that happened to him☹️ May god bless y’all ❤️
Your dad is a moron.
mikecantreed you little disgusting Bitch you’re so heartless what if you couldn’t read huh?
They should've got free milkshakes for helping him.
Fortnite DefaultSkin I totally agree!
I think they did
Ice cream shop isnt real, there were actors acting like actors
TheViperniz1 it definitely is a real place
Then it would be like if you do good things then you expect to get something back!
This made my day! I love watching things like this. I hope if I’m ever in a situation like this I step forward and defend and help them rather than keeping my thoughts to myself. All of these people were absolutely amazing!
I think of myself as being a good Christian woman but as I said before these videos have reminded me I CAN and WILL be a better person to those who may need it.😢❤❤👵
Ive been in situations similar to this in public… my rage ignites so fast…. And the situations usually escalate beyond what was appropriate… I try not to let it happen but I can’t help myself. I typically wait as long as possible to see if someone else is going to step up and deal with the problem, because I know I’m just about to make the situation much worse. 😢
I'm glad you get these actors and actresses to act in these. Thanks for airing these episodes for us all to see.
