You lost hella weight brahhhh. Keep that hard work up son!
Es is a great light but it would be cool to see a video of where you talk about individual grows with the same amount of wattage and plants and see how each individual light stacks up they make an app called photone I believe that works as good as a budget light meter for your phone I've used it against a real light meter and it's fairly accurate I'd be curious to see individual readings off each light just because some of what's advertised with more budget grows isn't always accurate
I run two Mars TS1000s in my 3x3 flowering tent. If I run it above 75% my plants show light stress. They have great budget lighting for those just getting started and experienced growers alike.
I really love the Mars Hydro TS series. I ran those lights all the time a few years ago.
Love all the awesome info you hand down on products that yall have tried. Definitely saves $$ for people starting out and trying to learn which products work better for the $$$.
Great video! I've always wondered about that ES300 but ended up getting the grow 300 by Grow Light Science for my setup. I'm a noob with indoor growing but have been happy with my lights so far.
Wasssssap brothaa! Thanks again for sharing the knowledge, you have no idea how much of an impact you have on all us growers! 👊🏻🤘🏻
I upgraded to this light this year. Yes it's expensive but the difference is considerable. My old light was OK too, being a California lightworks solar extreme. If this light lasts I think it will more than pay for itself, and the quality of the yield is absolutely top shelf. 👌 I save by making my own compost, leaf mold and castings. Very happy I spent the money tbh.
can i get a link
Let me start my saying. you got good taste in lights. Now I’ve had 4 runs with my EL V300. And all my runs had great bud structure and great growth with these lights. And you are also correct when saying you need to keep more space from the canopy
I got the FC-E6500 and this light is amazing I have it in a 4x4 and covers from wall to wall plants came out amazing this will be second grow with light I switched from a 1000 watt hps light to the FC-E6500 autos for days happy growing cheers mate
Is the fce6500 Samsung or bridgelux LED's?
Nice! The hlg rspec are pretty great, too They have great customer service. Had a few burnt out diodes. They replaced the boards fast and free.
I like that the boards can be replaced easily, where some lights might not be fixable.
HLG has been good to me. I can’t run my lights past 4-5 knots and goes to 8 it’s a powerful machine 🤞🏾
My es 300 has been amazing!!!!!!! Best advice I ever took from your channel
I just got the Migro Aray 4 and love it.
Same
I'm rocking Viparspectra XS series lights and the quality is top notch quality yield also
Good info I'll definitely have them in mind on my next purchase
Punk scene!! Hell yea man!
I love my es300,! Their customer support & tutorials are fantastic, and the dimmer is an excellent product.
I don’t think I have a dimmer on mine. But yes to customer service and tutorials are definitely awesome.
@@420scene the dimmer is a newer thing for them in the last year ish (comes standard now). They have some videos on it, and it really simplifies distance/intensity.
Appreciate the info I've been looking into getting a light. Trying growing indoors
Getting ready to try the ChilLED Growcraft 330 on next run in my 2x4x8 tent. Snagged a factory refurbished one for $550! Can’t wait. Light has awesome reviews. Love the channel ✌️🤙
I have been running this light for the last three runs and it is a GREAT light!!!!! Expensive but awesome and made in the USA!
ChilLED is amazing bro. I have a x6 600w , Two x6 minis. TOP SHELF results first yield I was extremely impressed. Customer service from them will keep me forever.
My GiGi is under a Lush Lighting Dominator 2X, halfway through Week 4 Flower!!! She and the kids just got a big dose of Roots Organic Trinity! It’s blurple but the buds are happy!
On point, bro. If you're getting good results, more power to ya. I used to use phlison cobs. Worked pretty good.
The sun. What light I like.grew some great plants my backyard this year.
I have a Spider Farmer SE 7000 and 2 cheap 200W grow lights but my favorite light is sunlight.
Just upgraded from a TS1000 to a FC e4800. and oh my this thing is a BEAST!
I have the FC 4800 and it’s super awesome. I totally agree. I think it’s pretty comparable to the KS5000.
The Electric Sky 300 V3 is a Great Grow light what' makes it special is that it has Wideband Spectrum and it's built in the USA with high quality diodes! great choice.
Im running the es300 v3s and they really are beasts. Heavy super dense colas every single time. Only caveat being they are so potent you have to have high ceilings or use the dimmer because those lights will fry your plants really quick if you aren't paying attention. Top of the line light thats worth every penny imo. I went from viparspectras and mars hydros to the es300 v3. What an upgrade.
it looks very much like the newer viparspectra xs would you think these are better still?
I started out with the 2x4 kit from SpiderFarmer that comes with the SF2000. Thinking I might upgrade my light soon but debating going all in on a 4x4 setup also. Thanks for the video dude.
Check out gorilla grow tents you will not be disappointed and you can raise the height by 3' if your plants get out of hand
@@Brian-KeithI thought it was 2'
The electric sky es300 is 3 or 4 years old now, isn't there a newer/better alternative on the market? Would this be the light you bought today?
Thanks for posting!!!
I have HLG and Spiderfarmer I always wanted and optic led because of the uv dimmer it comes with and they just seem so awesome 🎉 so it will definitely be my next buy💯
I have a older optic & loved the light. Just hate the prices 😒
I saw Walmart clearance had bp300's couple months ago. A bit cheaper than you mentioned. Always good place to look.
I bought the es 180 v 3 for 238 dollars on sale and also got earth dust on sale for 49 dollars best money I've ever spent absolutely no regrets
They’re pretty awesome as well man.
What size tent do you run with it
Do a full Review on Elitric Sky! I'm running a v3 180 and even though it's not the 300 it's super powerful and love ❤️ this light
Getting my highest yields off ac infinty iongrid. Autos that dry weigh half a p for example. Love the light its intense and I've got it on controller 69 pro
Spider Farmer is the bomb! I am running rip-of panels that are a 1:1 copy from them, but then with 6 elements (think of a SF6000). I love them and so do my ladies! 😍
Nice man. I’m still rockin my ES300’s.
@@420scene Nice bro! I'd love to show you mine as soon as I have my next growroom ready (I am looking to buy a new house for that), I might join your Discord for that!\
I love your content! Keep up the good work! 😘
Good to see they offer some proper low color temp LEDs. I get the impression that cost is why other manufacturers tend not to do this. The boards with peaks at 580nm and such are wasting a lot of electricity on inefficient photons.
What's you opinion on when to flower ....when the plant has filled the new pot with roots or when the plant is just established into a new bigger pot ??? ( meaning leaving room to grow )
Cheers fam
I switched to the electric sky es 300 as well best run ever largest colas I have ever produced, what a difference I also noticed it ran cooler than my other light an ac infinity S 44 ion board by about 5° it will be my go to on my next run start to finish
What is your experience floweing with the s44? Dense buds or airy?
@@dbro5636 Dense buds when I have the right conditions low RH and low temperatures during flowering
I have 2 v3 180's. The earth dust is pretty good as well.
I bought 2 v3 es180’s and Earth dust. I have not opened them yet. I wish I bought the 300’s . I did use the earth dust this summer outside. I grew a Skywalker OG from ILGM. It was huge over 5 feet tall. It is drying/curing now. Seems like 🔥. (Had to add cal mag and mag sulfur)
Green Sunshine Company closed its doors😂
Question: lets say i top at the 6th node. Nodes 1-4 are sending up shoots. will these make good buds if i train everything and make all the level or does only the top nodes produce good buds?
Running Girl Scout cookies under next light mega pro I upgraded from my ROI 680 but I still have the 680 tent with AC Xfinity 4 x 4 I’m using my gorilla grow right now I couldn’t be more happier I do have the electric sky V 300 it’s a great clone light all the way through flower but I’m not running it right now nice set up
That light is awesome but I have nothing to compare it too yet. It really brings out the purple. Literally have colas that are green at the bottom and purple on the side facing the light
I’ll see how it compares to Mars FC8K.
Growers choice ROI-E900 is where it's at. A little expensive at around 1000 bucks but a great light.
Ah the good ole blurple lights I remember those days I think every grower that’s been around since hps can know 😅 I used to have the ufos and viparspectra blurples lol
It doesn't take 450.00 to make a light
Ya you can buy 3 lol I spent 279 on my marz tsl2000 and 60 on my marz 600 then 80 on my cmh 315
no doubt.. I've been loving the Bloom Plus lights and they're pretty reasonably priced
$1300 to light a 4x4. Need a sponsor!!!
Also best light doesn't depend on light. It depends on grower. Having the best light and shit for plants is still failing all day, everyday.
@@_S._S._ A good light sure helps though. I wish mine wasn’t so hot. It’s the driver that heats my tent up. I could get cables and possibly remote the driver, have it live outside the tent, but I’m worried it won’t like the extensions and I’m liable to burn my house down. The light bars themselves barely get warm. The Meanwell driver gets so hot though. I’ve been counting on cooler weather so I could turn it up but it’s been unseasonably warm and the closet it’s in has two outside walls and the hot attic is just above it. I have to leave the closet door open and keep the AC at 70 or it gets up over 80 degrees in the tent. When it gets colder that driver will heat the closet. It was a hell of a deal though, $161 for a 220 watt bar light that uses Samsung 301b diodes and a Meanwell driver. It’s a Growstar they sell on Amazon. It does a great job in my 27” x 27” x 63” tent. It just gets a little too hot for a tent in an un-air conditioned closet when the weather outside keeps the closet too warm. That closet is hot when it’s hot outside and cold when it’s cold outside. Come on cold so I can blast the light for the last few weeks of flowering.
I'm surprised Platinum LED hasn't stepped up their game yet considering they used to be a leading brand before quantum boards came out. I'm retiring my p-1200 at the end of this run and the light has served me well for 6-7 years but I get way better yields off these quantums and barstyles I'm switching to.
660 each now. 1300 for a 4x4 is definitely an investment. I'm gonna try the Mars 4x4 first. Hoping for good results. First run from a green thumb. 👍 2 weeks in going well. Knocknon wood
They'll do just fine
Did you flower in the Ks 5000 if so how was the results
Hey man long time follower I have a question how did you get started doing product testing/review. I'm a new grower and trying to get into the product testing and review
Scynce Raging Kush 2.0 is the best my man. Full spectrum control.
Off topic? Can you change the probe on the Apera 20 I remember you reviewed it? Thanks!
What's the difference between bloom plus bp and xp?
Thanks for all your videos and sharing your knowledge, first time growler I have a 48 x 48 by 80 growtent. Any suggestions on the best light for my setyp would be appreciated I'm planning on having eight plants. And something around 300 or less would be ideal. Thanks in advance.
Good budget light that gets it done...Bloom Plus XP4000 just under $300 unless you catch it on a better sale.
What do you think about the Bestva Pro Series LED lights
I honestly haven’t even heard of them. There are so many brands of the lights nowadays. Most of them I think are really good. LED technology has come a long way.
If you like the ES300, check of the grow light sciences Grow 300. Its really similar spectrum and the price is ABSURDLY cheaper than the ES300 and pretty much any other light for the performance. MiGro has it listed still as the best light for the money and 2 in a 5x5 is about as perfect as you can get for the cost. The spectrum of the ES300 and GLS300 is in my opinion the best light spectrum period for flowering.
Hey man I have a question, do you think weed is becoming so over cross bred that these new strains are too high in THC? Personally, I stick with old school strains like Northern lights and Jack Herer as they are the closest to natural weed
I agree.. Older ones were bred by human testing over long times these days its based on lab numbers and we humans are designed to analyse substances not number patterns and the marketing department and hype crew are only intrested in trendy advertising and constant new releases to keep the hype going.. Recipe for disaster.. Older strains were balanced to what felt best regardless of the numbers and many 20% strains are faar superior to newer ones, this is also why distillate isnt stronger at 90%because 24% mcanabinoids made from 20+2+1+1 (d9+cbd+cbn+thcp) hands down beats 30 or even 90% thc :)
I've been looking into the ION and the Foshi, 720.
I’ve had an ES 300 V3 for a while now, but watch out in veg, it will scorch your leaves if you’re not careful. The Green Sunshine Company did it right because that light is a beast!!
what about the 1000w philzon lights?
The gavita 1700e is the way to go!!
Is the hlg 650 rspec old news? Did i miss something??
I need help how do I make my buds heavy and harder I use fox farm dirty dozen cal Mag and recharge wtf am I doing wrong my lights are 1 Mars hydro ts100 and the spider Farm one
Genetics played a major role for me when everything else was done right. With fox farm nutes, I find that less is more.
What the fox farm dirty dozen isn’t going to be doing you any favors. Try implementing some silica. Muziq is also right, genetics do play a big role here as well. Increase nutrient uptake with silica. Half teaspoon per gallon of water ratio amount of Bulletproof Si.
I started using 420's growing techniques and Light distance recommendations best run I've ever had
Genetics genetics genetics. Try a phenohunt growmie, pop 15-20 seeds and clone each plant "Labeling is IMPORTANT". Only keep your favorite clone/clones after flowering the mother plants out and seeing what results you get. Some will have denser buds than others even when grown exactly the same way and some plants will never get dense no matter how you grow them. That being said chances are your doing everything right and just have a plant or strain that doesnt do what you want it to. I hope this was helpful and best of luck to you.
I have a grandmaster Turantula Borg. i dont know what i'm doing with it though lol. it's my very first time growing
I use 300 watt outdoor led floodlights in both cool and warm spectrum. $75 each on eBay or Amazon. They absolutely work wonders for far less money 💰
Cool towards blue spectrum and warm towards the red . Any thoughts?
What why? Just buy real lights my guy
I got the sp3000 from Mars hydro..beast of a light
Blue shades baby! U still on IG? I ran two bloom plus 1500xp and two bluples I had in an 8x4 everything came out great
The ES300 is a beast.
I bought 2 light for 150 and there great
Great video..I rely on experience over the technical stuff...thanks for sharing!
✌️😎🔥
How many watts is that bad boy? And for the price is it comparable to the hlg 650?
I would put it neck and neck with the HLG 650. I haven’t tried it personally but from the tests that I saw and from other peoples experiences that have told me how the HLG 650 was, I would say that it would be pretty comparable with the ES 300. I had an excellent yield with the ES 300 and I feel like it doesn’t really get insanely hot
@@420scene right on man solid info keep on killin it! Prish!
I have the mars hydro fc 6500. It's rocking! I almost bought the viparspectra ks5000. Any info on the ks5000?
@@_o.O__ it is your only going to get what the genetics and the growers skills will allow but a nice light none the less good coverage and plenty bright I'm on my second grow with mine.
No I do know that feeling of buying my own light 😂
Best light for flowering plants is the sun.Artificial light as it pertains to indoor cultivation I assume L.E.D.,but the cost is a bit much.
Dude do a run with the light. You can get way closer with gsc light than most leds. Plants tend to get leggy in veg under it but still a good light.
Any ChilLED Tech gang in here ? X6 600w is a REALLY good light as well! worth every penny and EXTREEEMMLLLYYYY great customer service!
Yep I have two of em a v1 and v3 and 3 180 v1 v2 and v3 now they are done making them got the email last week
Chilledtech x3 mini for my 2x2, can’t get any better than that
Sup 420Scene!!
Hey broski.
I got a SunRaise led great budget light an the 3000 fills a 2x4 wall to wall..
I disagree on the Viparspectra comment...My first quantum board LED was the Viparspectra P2500 and I really like that qb to this day. I'm talking about their first version that ran the San'an chips. I also have a newer p2500 and it has the LM281B + chips ... currently running both side by side in a 4x4 and still getting very good results. I run a perpetual grow with (3) 4x4 tents and a 2x4 closet for my flower stations and (1) 2x4 closet for my veg station. Over the last couple of years Ive run the following lights......Bloomplus BP1500 (you're absolutely right...this is a great light ...I really like the warmer spectrum it has too! 2 Kingbrite 240w 3K spectrum (LM301H + Epistar reds, etc/Meanwell) and 1 Yuanhui 240w (LM301B w/epistar reds/Meanwell)....I've had problems with this unit unfortunately. 2 unit farm boards...their long 200w and squared 100w version. - maxsisun pb1500 , 2 maxsisun mf2000s. (Some very unique colors under these 2 ) ...Enfun's split 240w lm301b with switch (another awesome light) , Mars ts600 & bloomspect's 100w SS1000? I think?...(clones/seedling station- this is an impressive little light with an encased Sosen driver/dimmer..paid like 50 bucks or so for it! Other than the Yuanhui 240w (will not go above 74 watts) I really can't say anything bad about all the other models when it comes to using them in flower. I've tried them all in both veg and flower. Unfortunately some of these boards are collecting dust now because I've recently started to go with the bar style lights of my Running the KS5000 (amazing light) in one tent and more recently the Medic Grow Fold 8 @ 80% power in the other. Tell you what...that fold 8 rocks! Getting some my best results ..both in quality & yield. I've considered getting a second one as well but I also enjoy trying out of different lights (obviously lol)...ive been looking at the following bar lights for my 3rd 4x4 flower tent - fc-e6500/fc-6500 by Mars, growers choice ROI, photontek x pro 600 ....might have to look more into that es300 now as well!! .especially if there's any upcoming black Friday deals?? Thanks for the info!
I watched a video that you made and it was about bugs 🐜 and you got something from the grow store and didn’t have to spray anything I was wondering if you could tell me what the name of the pest killer was I remember you saying it worked so if you could let me know greatly appreciated
@@madvaper5728 thanks 🙏🏻 appreciate the reply
Not sure what the story is, but just got the email that the green sunshine co is shutting down. Any chance you can get the story on this?
I got the same email
Hey there what lights would you recomend for a 9 x5 gorilla tent for vedge n flower
I don’t think there is one light that will cover all of that but maybe you can get 2x KS5000’s. Or a few HLG 650R’s.
I would recommend a whole bunch of ES 300 lights but that would really rack up your bill because those lights are pretty expensive, the ones in my video. Unless you get a good end of summer or end of year sale on it.
I was thinking maybe 2 x se 7000 s will that do 8 to 10 plants and thanks very much for the reply love the 420 scene always entertaining and full of knowledge keep up the best grow channel 2 thumbs up
So do you think 4 x es 300 lights would do the job would that be the best choice in ur experience ?
I'd love to have one though
Does it throw off much heat?
I noticed my grow tent temperature was 5゚ cooler when I switched to the electric sky es 300 from a ac infinity ion board S44

optic 720s here. 💯
I have the ES 300 in a 2x4 match made in heaven
Wheres Monarch link ?? Cheers bro , kush life .
I've always wanted to try that light but the same reasoning it was to expensive. No controller! I ended up getting the optic led. Recently got the medic grow 320. Now for the price 200 USD can't be beat for a 3 x 3 area.
Do you brother screw the trollss
Mars Hydro quality is a bit sketchy. Facebook a lot of people have been posting up plugs that have burnt or shorted out. The last year.
Mars hydro 1000 here works like a pro
TS? And yeah they’re good too.
@@420scene yes ts thanks for what you do it's been a big help👍👍
Yep. I'm running two TS1000's. Can't go over 75 percent. Great budget lights. 👌🏽
Even with what companies recommend for distance I’ll always go by my par meter.
Yeah definitely if you really want to find out for yourself. Me personally, I’ve never really felt the need to get a par meter but I can completely understand why somebody would want it. It’s always good to know the light output. I just like trying to light and seeing what I get.
@@420scene I move my plants around a bit and have a few different sizes going in the 4x8 so I like to know what’s hitting them where they all are.
