What's up 420 folks, old head from southern Virginia here. We tokin' on some Mandarin Sunset from Ethos, grown outdoors this summer. Primo Man!! No wonder they use this strain in so many of their cross breeds! Good video, Mr. Scene ! I've been growing and LEARNING for over 45 years and 1 things for certain, there's more than 1 way to skin a cat ! Keep an open mind and do what makes sense and what works best for You. I've been around a long time, but some of you young cats have a wealth of knowledge to share. So don't be afraid to try new things, they may change your life! Thanks Guys!

Going to keep at it though love watching them grow even if they wind up diving off a clif. Know of any places in va i can buy without medical card? Sick of driving three hours to DC.

One thing I can tell you is don't do anything drastic, just the basics good soil good light, proper temps and please don't over water or over feed. Try keeping a notebook of everything. When you started, when you flipped lights, when and how much you fed and watered etc. Then note the results your getting. Folks like 420 Scene always got good tips to share. #1 rule I tell all new growers. Keep a journal for your first few grows. Keep a record of everything you do to each plant, and what each plant is doing. You’ll start learning to identify problems easier and in turn will teach you to identify earlier and correct quickly.

Vaporizing some homegrown northern lights.... My second grow so it's not the best, but it's cheep.
My best tip? Keep a grow journal. Take note in the things that worked, the things that didn't work, and the things that you want to try for the next grow. I forgot half the stuff from my first grow when I didn't, but I've learned much much faster since I've kept record.

Morning. . Posted a picture to Discord yesterday Sprouts @3¼ week. Each week has pushed out a node. Internodes are formed and pushing up to canopy. No propagation kit used. No transplanting. Seeds go in water and shot glass in the fridge 24 hours. Then I set them on the shelf for 24 hours. They start to pop. Set them on top of the middle of the pot with a ¼ inch of fox farm Happy Frog covering.

First time growing autos, first indoor run, first time ilgm buyer. I soaked one extra of each Northern Lights and Banana Kush. They all popped and sprouted in napkin so in a rush I put the two extras in small circle starter pots. The N.L. in starter pot looked better than the rest so one of my original 5 gal N.L. got swapped outside and I transplanted the N.L. with Mykos. Weeks later it's the biggest of them all. Started flowering later than the rest but I had to LST a lot she was so bursty with growth. And she still is the tallest. All of them look great though.

I dont fill my solo cups. I will plant the seed in 1/2 to 3/4 full solo cups. After it starts growing and stretches i fill the rest of the solo (up to the cotyledon leaves) to keep the plant stable, give it more medium etc. It's like being able to bury the plant a bit deeper and repot to a bigger pot and without having to repot.

Yes maybe an overkill, it’s not potentially necessary or beneficial if you’re already utilizing “Recharge” as this product already has a significant amounts of a sugar…: molasses in it-so by adding more molasses is not really anymore beneficial (intuitive) if anything else. But you may consider adding another complex source of sugars that approach would be more beneficial and makes total sense to me personally👊🏻
Ps- One product that I could recommend is “CARB-O-NARIA”, from New Millennium Nutrients, an unmatched choice and definitely solid people over there…it’s a complex sugar additive for enhancing any nutrient regimen for more plant vigor and much more. Do yourself a favor and Look into this specific additive plus there many other superior products they offer.
    Happy Week and
    Good luck!
    Cheers, Derek

Hey boss, I also agree that silica promotes the uptake of nutrients n other stuff (a little) but I think the fact that a lot of these silica’s have been caught with pgrs (mostly paclobutrazol if I recall) is one of the main reasons for the association of silica doing all of these amazing things (decreasing internodal spacing, increasing nutrient uptake/growth speed, density, etc.). In my op it does a make a little difference but it’s mostly helpful for strengthening ya know?

Some great advice I got from you was about how to avoid over watering. Let the girls tell you they need water. When they are in big pots, the leaves will start to droop when they need water. It won't hurt them, and they perk up real quick after getting water. When in small pots, pick them up before and after watering. This will give you a base for how heavy the pot is when wet. Pick them up every couple of days and mentally note the weight. The pots will be very light, compared to when wet, when the soil is dry and needing water.

Question?..... First time growing feminized autos. Durbin Poison, Critical Purple, Hindu Kush. Had them in frogger in red solo cups after germ for about 2 weeks then into 5 gallons of live soil.. All went well, never any problems all the way through 85 days. Lights on 22 hours a day. I got seeds, not many, but around 10-15 from Durbin, a few from the others... WHY?...Is this unusual or not? Can I use these seeds for another go round? Please advise.

When I do starters in a cup I do cup in a cup then you can split the first one and then the second one can be a shell for water run off. Never transplant autos if you do I better be very soon

Great tips, stagnant water will make your tent stink also, don't be a dick should be a life rule, don't take your bad day out on someone else, run what you can afford, and enjoy what you grow that's what it's all about.

I'm currently at the new seedling stage on my first grow. I put them into some happy frog to germinate and they broke ground in two days. It's currently getting cold here and temps in my tent (4x2) are at around 68 with humidity @45. I've been spraying a light misting in the tent last couple mornings. Nothing substantial just about 10 sprays about 12" above my two totes. I've yet to add any water to the soil around the happy frog part, which is happy frog + 20% worm castings + kelp meal and guano. It's only been 4 days since they broke ground and am wondering if I should start giving the soil a bit of water yet? It was quite moist before I planted anyway so I've been cautious so far about adding extra yet.

Try judging by pot weight. Lift your pots everytime before and after water so you get an idea what they feel like wet & dry. You can also wait until you see the leaves droop a little. It's not horrible if you understand water compared to over watering.

Great video- thanks!! We have our guitars and music equipment in our barn ans have a dehumidifier out there, but I will check the setting.
I think we have it set for 55%... I hope. Here in Central Illinois current homegrown strain that Ive been smoking is Mimosa Punch.

Something I have a question about is flushing monthly because watering Normally and then flushing will saturate your soil and takes more time to dry out.
It seems contradictory to not overwatering.
Have a good day you two ✌
