@@jankalina-CzechVisaExpert Visa???? What kind of visa??? We are in EU and we dont need any visa...so I have no idea what are you talking about...
Also I was reading a few days ago that CITIZEN of EU can open a bank account in any country inside EU...but a Bank Clerks block it from people...that is crazy.
My situation is different - I am changing my country of living, presently working in Germany from time to time
and have a problem with an opening a bank account in general. That is unbelievable....
Even something like Virtual Banks, like WISE make so many difficuties that I totally gave up - that is a huge bullshit.
They live on OUR MONEY and they are doing us a fuc...ing favor to open account....

Thanks Jan. If somebody is shifting to Prague for job and has to bring money from home country. Is there a bank which can open an account before reaching Prague so that the money can be transferred there. That way one can avoid traveling with cash.

@@jankalina-CzechVisaExpert oh no....I tried with WISE for last 5 days. That is horrible experience.
Million times of takin ga photo of a passport, then they are not able to compare it with my face, all the time they force me to use mobile phone - I DONT WANT TO USE A MOBILE PHONE for banking.
I WANT TO USE A LAPTOP for banking.
The WISE ask nonsense questions and make it impossible for me, for sure....I gave up with their bullshit account.
Little screen like in mobile phone is maybe good for children and for games...no serious job could be done on so little screen.
      I am very pissed off....really

Short-term visas are always just a sticker in the passport. Long-term visas as well. Only if you applied for a long-term residence permit (i.e. an employee card), you would be getting a reaidence card.
