It's worthwhile keeping a cheap universal classic car wiring harness in stock. That way, when you get a rats nest of wiring, like on this truck, you can quite quickly replace the critical wires. Because the function of each wire (eg, headlights) is printed on the wires, it speeds up the process and avoids mistakes. You can also just discreetly zip tie the remainder of the harness under the dashboard. That means that any future wiring upgrades are much easier.

Here in the UK we're lucky, the vast majority of vehicles have manual transmission, so you make sure you have spark and fuel, then tow them down the road at 40 mph, drop the clutch in second or third gear and if they're going to start, they will. Simple 3000 to 4000 rpm starter.
Fun show as usual . Cool truck and good Get Done repairs done it as well. Glad you got a fast turn over on it. I saw a old aftermarket stereo and amplifier/slight audio graphic equalizer in it as well. That is a added feature if it works with the addition of some door speaker. Get some sponsor's for your show,, the added money would allow you to build that new garage you put the floor down for.
Something that's good for cleaning things like silicone coated cables is eucalyptus oil. It's a great de-greaser in general (great for price sticker gunk and similar mess) but good for silicone coated cables as it doesn't dry them out. I've used it a lot on microphone cables, and the tiny wires on mini-microphones.

I grew up a few blocks away from the timken co. Always love hearing people from all over the world using them 🤟
One of the top channels on YT. Freaking so much fun.
I'm not in a rush
Damn I love these damn trucks! Great Job Dalton and JD.
I just joined the low buck club too. Talk about a lot of bang for my buck!!
This was fun, inspiring too! For my own projects and for moving things on to others! Great job!
I’m too broke to own another old vehicle, but I sure enjoy watching Dalton have fun with them !
Got the tank tops and the Richardson hat! Going out in style!
JD seems to be learning the way of the wrench. Cool!😎
A year older than me. Love stuff from the mid 60's. Cheers! 🍻
