I spent my formative years in the Air Force and drove similar ford trucks of a similar vintage on the flight line. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. The Flying Tigers paint turned out great.

When I got home off the road, I secured and parked a semi truck and dropped the trailer and came straight home. First thing I got to do is sit down and watch you and stubby absolutely awesome video and I did watch on TV which made it much better than watching you on the iPhone, great content and a lot of humor. Strangely, that old beast maight prove to be very handy to have around I'm thinkin. Personally, I love the fact that you favor the all one color theme, (whatever color that may be) over the patina look! It's really Hard to kill an old ford truck.
@@clevelandmaker386 It’s a cool old truck, but someone projected it out of viability back in the day I think. Hard to imagine comfortably hauling with that wheel base. If this truck worked it probably shuttled trailers around at a truck depot. I’ve seen an old Toyota 1 ton with a 5th wheel that does that. Dalton could build a better bullnose 1 ton out of something else.
I just loved this buildout of Sgt. Stubbs and it almost compares in looks to the Holy Goat. The painting was just next level - Sgt Stubbs has character and needs to be used of something of use. Loved all the humor.
When I was big into scrapping cars and stuff, I got this 06 Neon for scrap, bad headgasket, otherwise ran great, needed a strut, stupid stuff, I took the thermostat out and bought this Blue Devil headgasket stuff, ran that car for 45 min as instructed, It worked, I gave that car to my elderly neighbor as her Bonniville frame was gone, she drove that car until she passed away, I would have thought hey, maybe a year which is better than nothing.
I was just browsing RUclips about a month ago and watched my first video of yours that was you cropping the roof off the 72 LTD. Been hooked ever since, makes me want to work on my old Lincoln that has been sitting for 4 years. "Nothing a self tapper can't fix" has been added to my catchphrase list lol.
Oh man, been seeing this one on Facebook, what a badass old truck! At the very least, you could pull the 460 and build it and leave this thing as yard "art"
May not run forever ,but I think for the investment she looks great. Jessi & JD put the final touchs on the paint job and Dalton put the final touches on the illumination of the truck. I’m getting started on the new intake manifold, carburetor and valve cover’s this week! Love the content my man.

When i was a young teen, my buddy and I went thru my Dad's paint cabinet, we used a bunch of different colors but came to the same end result for an old wooden boat, we called it diarrhea green, it ended up being a very fitting color for that fine water vessel, lmao 😂
Mate, it's not ATF you're meant to feed the intake, it's brake fluid. And this is not a joke BTW, it'll clear off soot, carbon, and unstick rings. This method is used by wreckers to put compression back into some used engines. Warm up the engine, rev to 1500 to 2000 rpm, feed gently the brake fluid, revving to keep engine running, couple of WOTs, until smoke dissappears, done.
Strengthen up that frame and then 100% a burnout truck. Especially with the light on top going in a huge cloud of smoke. This thing rocks dude. Keep it going.

My experience was from 99-2005 F series bobs and a few outgoing 12V Cummins Dodges. I wish they were all Cummins!
The Dodges liked to bounce the front end. But the air conditioning stopped working at 100*F.

I'm a huge fan of these 70 series trucks. That cab is an early 77 or older. I believe February of 77 was the last of the in cab gas tanks.
