How Aliens take their hosts....

  • What happens to a host as they are kidnapped and transported into the hive? Does the alien have ways to knock you out or otherwise incapacitate you? James Cameron envisioned Xenomorphs with stinger tipped tails, while other alien stories have aliens using brute force to subjugate hosts, while others use a paralyzing saliva!

The best part Gorman played was when he gets knocked out by Ripley's badass smart driving !!!

Just withdrawn consent. The alien will then respect the paw and leave.

That would make a great comedy sketch. Xenomorphs having to attend classes on consent awareness.

Drake went out as a warrior with that flame thrower , much respect !!!

"River of Pain" that alone sounds like a badass black metal album from Norway in 1989. If they ever did a crossover for this id be amazed but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Alien would really work in my eyes

And yes even Hudson when it was game time, he shook off his fear's and went down as a fighting warrior so that Newt and Ripley could get out of there. Much Respect for that needed action !!!

Facehugger is actually a walking embryo, before reincarnating into a xenomorph.
    This alien cycle is confusing....

Originally the plan was for them to have a stinger in their tail for paralyzing their prey to bring it to the hive but it got cut at some point

IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS! Any examples of hosts escaping the cocoons?

I don't think anyone has gotten out of a cocoon without help....but I wouldn't be 100 percent on that without researching it.

the comic mentioned here, further novelised by Labyrinth, includes the story of someone existing within the hive, learning all about it. So you might be interested in that

very interesting about the stinger tail... in aliens when bishop gets impaled by the queen, there is a stinger shown.... when the queen is dropped down the loading hatch and is flailing around under the power loader , the tail has no spike on the end.... have always wondered about that.... maybe theres a missing or unshot scene where the powerloader cuts it off, as it would have been too easy for the queen to sting Ripley when she was climbing out the loading hatch

In the novelization of Aliens Gorman passes out bc of a stinger tail instead of hitting his head. Edit: yeah just reached that part of the video too😂

Why do the aliens even need a host? They burst out so quickly and don’t seem to eat the carcass. Also in the original film the chest burster grows from a little worm like thing into a full sized alien in what just seems like a matter of days without even eating anything. That always seemed like a plot hole to me that could have been fixed by putting the whole crew back to cryosleep then mother waking them up because the John Hurt character’s sleeping pod is broken open and his body has been eaten.

      Sometimes they eat the body
Also it's simple, they're parasites, it's how their species are made. They need hosts to grow in

In aliens I would have at least afew of granades and once I had the chance I would pull those pins and hope for the best.

When I watched the first movie I assumed it was only the facehuggers that had acid blood to make it harder for other people to interfere. I was kinda surprised when it turned out in Aliens that even the adults had it.
