“The Gnoblin’s gonna work better in nearly every situation…” which is exactly why it should be included- not optional, especially at this price point. Great kit.
In some situations, the Gnoblin isn't the right tool for the job, and we wanted the Reckless 80L to be as universal fitment as possible. The standard straps for the rear mounting make it so out of the box the Reckless harness will work with almost any bike.
Thanks for the stoke! We do our best to help everyone get the best out of their luggage, and it happens to be that we have a lot of experience with using our luggage, so we have a few tips and tricks.
Getting mine ready to ride from Nicaragua to US on a CRF300l then buy a RP900 or 890r and head back to Nica and beyond with the same R80s, great versatile bags!
Does Mosko Moto have to pay RUclips for the length of the video? Or why is he talking so incredibly fast? Kidding. As a non-native English speaker, it's Hard to understand him properly. But in any case, a really helpful video.
Hey Brett! The R80 does fit the 1290 with grab handles installed, but we typically recommend removing them if possible. The fit is more secure without, plus the grab handles can create potential wear points on the underside of the harness. Hope this helps!
Hey! The Reckless 80 is a great fit on the 850GS. You'll have to mount the R80 more forward on the seat to accommodate a top case, but we've seen many customers run that set up successfully!
Any tips for 2023 Harley Davidson 1250 Panamerica Special? I installed my new Reckless 80L V4.0 in position 1, and it looks like working but I am not am expert so some feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
One extra piece of advice we give regarding the angle of the legs is that you want the leg strap and the leg holster to be in line as possible so the leg strap doesn't turn at an odd angle as it exits the leg holster.
So.... for us NEW owners, the strap you said was not to go around the side bag, but to go to the Dry Bag, a slower and more detailed review of that area would be nice! I had mine wrapped around the side bag like you showed as WRONG! A better view and outline on WHERE both ends go would be helpful. The Bag is VERY Nice. Can't wait to get it positioned and properly loaded! Thank you for the video! Think slower and more detail to help us new guys next time....
The buckles on those straps connect to the leg bag. The leg bag (the dry bag insert in the leg) should not roll down and connect to itself like the Stinger. Roll it down and connect each buckle on the bag to its respective strap.
We hear ya! We'll definitely be making a more detailed video on how to properly strap and connect the leg drybags on our Reckless 80 and 40. If you have questions on how to properly attach the the leg drybags to the compression straps (the straps you currently have connected around the outside of the R80 leg) shoot us a message at MoskoMoto@MoskoMoto.com and we'll get you taken care of. Appreciate your feedback and support. Thank you!
Hey Frank - We don't have one in the fleet unfortunately but if you check out our Facebook group "Mosko Moto Riders Group" there should be photos in there!
I'm planning on traveling the world in 5-6 years, do you have any plans to build a large capacity bag for world travel? I'm currently using a Backcountry Pannier Kit 35+35 and two duffel bags.
We currently don't have any plans to produce a larger Reckless system. It sounds like you already have the largest luggage setup we make. We also understand that every world travel is different since we have plenty of friends using different setups for their travels!
If you have more than one size of bike, the aux pox are removable. It takes like 10 minutes take them off or reinstall them. But, if you plan on doing that more than a couple times a year...use the molles or get a second set of gear for the lighter bike.
Pete sounds pissed off. This was rushed. We need a slower more detailed video. Especially since you raised prices. Be more respectful to your customers. 👎

Solid gear! Great to see all the Mosko gear at the PNW Overland Show!!
Thanks, Gary! Appreciate you coming by our booth at OX! Catch you out on the trail. 🤙
Mounting them now, awesome video. Thanks for being a good communicator and to the point.

I think Pete missed his calling as an Auctioneer 😁
We see it! 😂 Appreciate you checking out our YT channel, Brian!
😂 Agreed!

Right on, Dale! You have some epic adventuring planned. Appreciate you bringing Mosko along!
Great vid, where do you strap the lower side straps to on the KTM 890, it’s hard to see in the video?
It looks like that bike has a plate mounted to where the passenger pegs go. I rig mine up to the rear passenger peg mount to keep it nice and tight.
Nice, Matt! Perfect attachment points.
Nice... my advice is to pull off after about 15-30 minutes and check or re-tension your straps.
Pro tip, Jasmine! Always a good idea to check-in with your gear after a quick shakedown ride.

😅 This is great feedback, thank you! We'll pass it along to Pete. We want our product videos to be easy-to-understand for everyone. 🙏
@@MoskoMotoi have little bit of the same problem here. Hello from sweden 🙏🏼
Interested to know if the reckless 80 fits the KTM1290 adventure without removing the grab handles. Thanks

Hi from Mexico. Do you recomend it for a f850gs and if its possible to use it with a top case at the same time.

Great pace on the vid, also great take on the aux pad even though it might not be in moskos immediate best financial interest
Thanks for the support and feedback! We do our best to ensure everyone gets the best luggage fitment to help enable their adventures.
Are there side leg harness straps on the R40, that connect the dry bag to the mounting system?
Hey! The R40 shares the same leg/dry bag connection straps as the R80. Hope this helps!

@@dirtbikes_and_drones 👌great breakdown. Thanks for sharing!
Great tips! Thanks!
You bet! Thanks, Brad.
Should we be nice if you showed this rig on the back of a tiger 900 GT Pro

do you have on the 890 also an side rack ?
Hey! The 890 does not require a side rack to mount the Reckless 80.
Any issue with Crf1100l 2023 model?
Will this bag fit on tw200 with cycle rack?
There shouldn't be any issues mounting a Reckless 80l on your TW200 with the cycle racks!

That's a great suggestion! The MOLLE pockets are great for the quick on and off.
Can't wait to put these on the pig (GS Adventure) and lighten her up a bit when off-road.
Heck yeah, Ryan! Hope you love the R80 and enjoy riding off-road with a lighter load. Let us know how it works out for you!
