Rescue of Orphan at Sea Leads to Terrible Secret Reveal

- The relentless tropical sun beats down on Terry Jo’s parched, salt encrusted skin; there’s no relief. Most of the time she keeps her eyes closed, it’s too bright, the glinting waves make her dizzy and the salt water stings. It’s been 4 days since the Bluebelle, the sailboat she had been aboard with her family, sank.
Terry Jo drifts in and out of consciousness, listlessly reclining on a flimsy 3 foot (.9 meter) oblong cork raft as it bobs on the pitching waves. The tiny raft wasn’t designed for prolonged usage; some of the rope webbing has given way, it’s beginning to disintegrate.
Terry Jo hallucinates; a great big rumbling whale is looming over her. Suddenly the whale turns into a solid black wall and amazed faces stare down. The crew of a Greek Freighter, the Captain Theo, are shocked to spot a young girl adrift in a raft. One of the sailors takes an iconic photograph of Terry Jo perched on her tiny raft in the huge ocean.
The crew quickly gets her aboard. Terry Jo tells them that she had been aboard the Bluebelle, her name and that she is the sole survivor before losing consciousness. Just in the nick of time, Terry Jo has been rescued from death. Soon she would reveal the devastating truth of what happened aboard the Bluebelle.

This dude thought that she'd go down with the ship because he didn't want to have to directly do the deed. Then when she came back out he, instinctively perhaps, tried to save her but Absolutely put himself before her when the raft began to drift. My opinion.
My thought was that maybe at that point he thought he could concince her that something other than him murdering them happened, or that he would have shot her when he went to get in but didnt have time since it was set adrift

I'll tell ye', I was ready with a nasty comment about false information. But, then I realized that it was just the "Bad guy's" (I don't know how to word what the guy is. Murderer? Maybe.) claims. I wasn't as interested in this explanation of the story as the other I had watched.
How interesting that Harvey essentially both endangered and saved Terry Jo's life.

Man I can't imagine the fear that was rushing through her as she woke up to that situation and to have Harvey rush at her and shove her down the stairs, waking up seeing her mother and brother dead on the floor. Wild. Intense

Well, that’s the most harrowing story I’ve ever heard.
There was another video about this incident on Facebook, one of the survivors relatives was in the comment section and was answering questions

Multiple people and basic stencils animations. Like each part of the bodies are basic shapes. They are also a company that is sister to others and also regularly employees 40 freelancers so that is not including regular employees/staff that you can't always freelance out

This is one of my favourite survival stories!
This would be a great true story to base a thriller or suspense film on.
That's why, as a dad and husband, i train and carry weapons.
Wow, so many lessons learned here.
But, the most important for me is, if your lost at sea, try and keep your body in the sun as much as possible to avoid salt on your body being in the sun and avoid dehydration.

Yes, because when you see a little girl stranded on a little floaty boat that’s slowly disintegrating you take a picture before helping her out first.
Calm down, there were several people there, that's just a bystander who took the pic while the others are trying to hoist her up.

If she hadn't accidentally let go of the raft's rope, he might've killed her before he jumped. But she let go and he was too full of panic to think straight so he just went into the ocean to catch the raft
