Thanks to Steven Young for suggestion to make 'stop points' for bars at each race, looks much better than constants flow :)

Fastest lap should not count for that season... Because with the CURRENT points system, drivers take a pitstop (if they have a gap) to do the fastest lap. Back in 2007 no one would do a strategy pit just for the fastest lap point, it only came naturally. So it should not count.
Without fastest lap points (just the top 4, don't care about the others and probably neither do most of us):
    Kimi: 272
    Alonso: 266
    Hamilton: 265
    Massa: 228
Fun fact: The 2007 season only had 2 TEAMS getting ALL Poles, Fastest Laps and Wins. And in terms of podiums, only in 5 instances out of a possible 51 podium finishes (17 races x3) was a driver from a different team other than Ferrari or McLaren in the podium.
Yeah, it was a clear 2 horse race in terms of teams that season, but really, with 4 drivers all of them week in week out fighting for wins? What we fans wouldn't give to have a season like this again. 4 drivers all of them fighting for the title up until the last 2 races of the season. Massa himself also had a lot of bad luck in some races.
In terms of raw pace he was actually equal to Kimi in the races and ahead in qualifying. And this was a prime Kimi. Massa before the Hungarian 2009 GP accident was actually a very good driver, it wasn't luck that he fought Hamilton for the title when they had equally competitive cars in 2008.
In fact, McLaren and Ferrari were the 2 fastest teams, BUT they also equally all had the 4 fastest drivers at the time. So it was also part of the reason the 2 teams dominated so much over the others.
It was a great season overall. One of the best for sure. 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, my favourite F1 seasons of all time (started watching F1 in 2000). People hype the 2021 season so much (and it was a good season) but if these seasons that I mentioned happened right now, at the height of social media? This 2021 would've been average in comparison.

@@nathanmcdowell7306 Yes, but Alonso had to adapt to a new team, new car and new tyres, Hamilton already knew the team (he had been a McLaren junior since 1999 at least), the car and the tyres (he used the bridgestone tyres in Gp2). It was probably Alonso's worst season to date and he still scored the same points as Lewis.

Just shows it's subjective, what we consider "small point gap" based on point system. With old system (10p for winner and points for Top6/8) 50points lead midway of the season would have been game over already, but with new system (25points for winner and points for Top10 it basically means nothing. Feels like old system (point difference) is somewhat deep within peoples mind as time to time you hear mentions about "but he was so far behind", when it's just like 1-2 retirements and gap is gone again.

@@xxddsxx Yeah but you should also consider that hamilton had probably adapted to mclaren by the start of the season because he apparently did a 1000 laps of testing (not sure if alonso turned that down or not)
But he probably did 1000 laps on 1 circuit so i guess it doesnt make that big of a difference. But leaving this aside, hamilton was the better driver that year and lost the title because mclaren left him out too long in chinese gp and he carried a bit too much speed into the pit entry (i would say 75% mclaren's fault and 25% lewis'). He also had a reliability issue or pit man made a mistake in europe 2007 quali dropping him to 10th on the grid
