Also Fangio was already as old as Hamilton is now (38) when the F1 world championship was first held and he still managed to win the title in 5 of the 7 full seasons he competed in (and got 2nd in the other 2). He also won those titles with 4 different constructors. It's really not that hard to decide... Fangio is still the GOAT.

Schumacher and Ferrari are always talked about as they have been 'dominating' while actually they almost always really had to fight for their titles and not secure them mid-season like it is nowadays.
And FIA changed their rules much more often, trying to 'stop' their 'dominance'. They just always managed to get the best out of each of the changes over and over again. 2004 they where surprised by their own car and that it was as good as it was.

E così mi restano i bei ricordi! Like 1916

Max still needs a couple of different races to catch on Lewis record for most different race wins. He could win in Las vegas this year. But he has to win in Singapore , china , Portugal , tuscan , nurburgring , turkey and wait to bring back a few circuits like Indianapolis and magny cours. He is still too young though.

Since 2000, the car has been the deciding factor in race wins and championships. Since 2000 up to the current year(2024). If you weren't in the dominant car of that particular time(Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull). You had absolutely no chance of winning a championship. And only a race win if the dominant car DNF'd or started way back in the field for some reason.

I’m willing to bet that if you swapped cars with Max and any other driver, that driver would dominate… I totally understand that Max is a fantastic driver and totally respect him for that but there is something otherworldly going on with that car. Red Bull is going to have to have their own series soon because the other drivers are backing off with a red Bull shows up in their mirrors and that is not competition.
How can Perez suck so badly and Max do so well? It doesn’t make any sense.

Well Perez is driving the same car. And he failed to qualify for Q3 five times in a row.

GREAT JOB!!! One of the coolest informational videos I have ever watched about FI racing!! It is ashame that for many years now REALISTICALLY ONLY 1 team has a shot of winning the championship and generally there is ONLY 1 driver capable of getting all those wins. So to me FI in Many recent years has been VERY SKEWED towards which ever team has the dominate technology. So in my Opinion, these standings are NOT a true reflection of who the best driver is. Not to say they are not a top driver BUT, when your team is so dominate for YEARS, it Truly is NOT an accurate portrayal of who is the Best Driver. That is a fact! That, in my Opinion is a Major reason why F1 SUCKS!!!!! There are MANY people (obviously myself included) who know the ONLY realistic chance I am going to see someone different win the race is 1st lap, 1st corner and Hope that guy gets in an accident (not getting hurt) unless that is your favoirte driver, lol. IF there is no accident, generally the race is Over. Yes, another driver can make a great move to position himself in the lead, however, it is only a matter of time before the dominate team's #1 driver disposes of this wanna be, lol.
I do Not follow Indy car near as much as I follow F1 and not near as much as I used too. Cart/Champ Car etc. used to be my primary, however, when that Silver Spoon, Idiot t. george took over I stopped watching it for many years.
Now that Mr. Roger Penske is in control over the last few years I have started paying more attention to Indy Car. YESSSS, Indy Car is a Spec Series. However, the Racing is ABSOLUTELY Fantastic. It literally blows the doors OFF of F1. The F1 head honchos look down at Indy Car saying they are this little spec series, but F1 has always looked down at Cart/Champ/Indy Car. But, as a Ex amateur open wheel driver and die hard open wheel fan for MANY years drivers/fans want to actually see RACING, LOL. F1 in MANY years has NEVER really offered that. Top team taken out in the 1st turn or being passed in the pits, not on track is All they can really offer. I LOVE F1 because I LOVE open wheel racing. But, Indy Car kicks F1's BUTT in Series vs Series which one offers true let the best driver win Racing!!! Literally ALMOST ANYONE in Indy Car can wind ANY race.
LOL, ok my rant is OVER, Sorry - but some things Need to be said, lol. With F1 it is ALL about the money/technology and with that you will get exactly what we have been seeing for many years, ZERO COMPETITION!!! Not only do the fans lose big time, but the drivers lose big time as well. Many drivers careers will NEVER get to experience their full potential, not in this MONEY/TECHNOLOGY driven environment:(:(:(:(
Thank You for the Very Cool video!

It's crazy for how long Hamilton is actually driving. It took so many years of dominance for him to achieve all those wins. Incredibly Verstappen managed to go on a historic run of wins in 2023.
Only time will tell if and when Max will catch up to Lewis.
Chances are that at some point Red Bull won't fight for wins anymore. People quickly seem to forget how dominant Mercedes was for many many many years, and look where they are now.
    It happens so quickly.
I'm here for it, i love the sport as a whole. There are two things i currently want, that hamilton gets another championship title because he was robbed. So that he truly is the one and only legend as of now, and after that i want McLaren to win 2 or so championships in a row, i think Norris would be a great champion.
I guess that with Hamilton won't happen, i don't think Mercedes will be able to recover until 2026 when the new regs hit.
And after the short winning streak of McLaren i want Max to try and challenge for the legendary hamilton record but ofc fighting against McLaren and Ferrari.
Actually Alonso would be a cool champion too.
Or imagine something super outlandish happening, Stroll going on a winning streak xD

    • @notaspeck6104
      @notaspeck6104 6 месяцев назад

I'm not a Merc fan but I would also love for Hamilton to win an eighth but unless Mercedes pulls a miracle out of their ass it's honestly just not gonna happen :/ I do wonder how much longer he's going to keep racing because I really don't see anyone catching red bull until after 2026. Alonso is 42 so technically there's a chance Hamilton could keep going but who knows lmao.
I'm pretty excited to see what Mclaren come up with considering their burst in performance. Also maybe an unpopular opinion but I think a driver as good as Max is honestly wasted when there's so little competition. I kind of hope his teammate can push him more next season (depending on who it will be).
