Soto was such a great player, and this match was really fun to watch. Shohei also did a good job but looked tired. I believe he will hit a big fly tomorrow. So have a good rest, Shohei. I'm always supporting you from Japan.

Why not have a machine throw so it is fair to everyone? That way Hitters practice and get the speed and location EXACTLY where they want it, and no fumbling around to get a ball thrown in last few seconds.
Not Even Saying then Ohtani would have won, because Soto rocked, but the last three home runs were perfectly pitched to him.

My gosh dude preach! Ohtani is great but Soto just is such a good athlete! Also, Soto in the playoffs was so clutch, and he was as well in the derby. Ohtani on the other hand couldn’t hit a homer in the first minute. And even when he was close to beating soto, he would just tie it and hit line drives to the imaginary first basemen. Blame his loss on the pitcher or “field being different”, or whatever. Soto performed better that night. He just wanted to win more than Ohtani did. I guarantee if he didn’t have the loyal fans on his side-
      *cough cough* simps *cough cough*
Then he for sure would have tried way harder and swung his life away. He just knew that his “fans” would go to the RUclips comment section and say:
“Ohtani is still so good!!! I was ACTUALLY happy that he lost in the first round so he could “save energy” for the all star game! The home run derby OBVIOUSLY doesn’t show who the best home run hitter is!”
Soto wanted it more. Plain and simple. No hate to Ohtani though. Great player with a solid upside. He will definitely help the game over seas in Japan. Thank you for reading my TED Talk.
