@@patrickschannelpokemonswee3803it’s also a lot harder to mess around in baseball unless the pitchers pitch slower internationally which would be stupid.
Yeah because your players only have a average of 3 to 4 at bat's. And every inning ya change pitchers. So yeah 1st innings for all the aces. ... you have a better chance of getting injured during batting practice than a mlb allstar game going hard VS. NFL or NBA
@FloydWhoElseTV ok, so with that logic, why don't you let a pitcher drill you with a fastball, and then tell me how you feel. You wouldn't even have the balls to stand in the box against an MLB pitcher, so just keep your mouth shut my boi..
There’s actual advantages for winning right…I think thr NL one….so whichever team from thr NL in the WS gets home field advantage…that’s so crazy, nba gotta get a way to make it more comp
As a Rays fan, seeing Randy run makes us cringe. He's got such good speed, but he got worse this year with stealing, despite the rules making it easier.
Yes, it's about time. The National League dominated the All Star game from the 1960's into the early 80's like the AL has done recently. However, the World Series has been pretty even. AL has edge because of great Yankee teams in early to mid 20th century.
Probably, but that's better than waiting till contracts run out and letting them walk away for nothing. Rockies are absolutely notorious for trading for nothing or letting solid players walk as free agents.
As an Ohtani fan, I watched a lot of All-Star videos, and many star players were asking for pictures of Ohtani again this year. The reason for this is obvious: the star players are just like us baseball fans in that Ohtani is a "one in a century baseball player.“ Also, when asked, "Who is the best player?" At least Acuña, Guerreiro, Perez, Julio, JD Martinez, E. Diaz, Castillo, Alvarez, Bichette, and Kershaw answered "Ohtani". Various people say that “Ohtani is not the best player. ” (I think especially many Yankees fans.) But I believe the real star players who know the field like they do, rather than those who know nothing about it.
As a yankee fan I can say he is the best, has more to do to become the best of all time though. I dont think he is the very best at either pitching or hitting but does both extremely well and that's what makes him most valuable. That being said, I dont think he would do as good as he does now if he played in a stadium like NY or Dodgers with the pressure. His numbers in Yankee Stadium, both hitting and pitching arent great.
As a Rockies fan, I'm so glad ne of our players was the one to get a the game winning homerun. It's something to be excited about for the Rockies this year lol.
People are fond of saying that there is magic in baseball. I like to think baseball is magic, the way the ball moves, hitters making contact on a pill, outstanding fielding and arms like lightning, a World Championship series before the season and then a great season of baseball with a World Series. I cheer for a few teams myself, but I cheer for every player. Great game, great sport.
@blackdeathgaming1351 I'm sure he has. Tbf last time I saw him was when he gave up a grand slam to Max Muncy in L.A. after we sent him away at the end of last year. So maybe he has turned a corner
@@blackdeathgaming1351 Ye but even when kimbrel's amazing he still is a bit wild, us sox fans call those, kimbrel attacks, when kimbrel gives you a heart attack. (btw I made up kimbrel attacks)

Well all I can say is.......'this isn't your father's baseball anymore ', the game was enjoyable but I HATE THOSE UNIFORMS WITH A PERFECT HATE, ( sorry but I'm old school ) I sincerely hope that this does not become an every year thing, one of the things I use to always look forward to is seeing and admiring the different team colors and designs as well as the All-Star ceremonies, Baseball is gradually seeping away from tradition a piece at a time. One thing that I did like is the comraderie between the players with one another from each side, they may be in competition but these guys are still friends with respect for one another.
Haven't watched in years, but cool to see everyone wearing the uniforms during the game. I always thought it was weird they made these full on jerseys for the home run derby
This game is beautiful and the future All Start Games with Elly De La Cruz, Corbin Carroll, Eury Perez, Esteury Ruiz, O’Neil Cruz, etc.will be awesome!
I gotta say , I haven't watched that much Baseball over the years , just not really shown much in England , but I think the Umpires do a fantastic job ! In difficult circumstances ! The game action is so very fast , and calling balls and strikes can't be easy either !
Love to see Luis Arraez go 2-for-2 with that RBI! Proud of what he, Soler, and the rest of the Marlins have been doing, and showing it on a big stage is just fantastic. National League finally winning one! 👏👏
Mucho Gracias Sr Díaz for getting us out of national league Allstar purgatory!!! He’s done something that many of “Allstars” couldn’t do and hadn’t done for dam near a decade and thats get a clutch hit to win the allstar game for the national league. It would’ve been a damn shame if we had boys reaching puberty before the National league ever won again.
I hope I am not the only one who doesn’t like it when they interview people DURING THE GAME. We want our boys to get some recognition. We don’t care about Ortiz eating popcorn.
They did away with that because there have been a lot of sluggers stached at right or left field in the history of the game so they want to be able to elect multiples of them to avoid say, having Roberto Clemente but not Hank Aaron at an all-star game when they were both having good seasons.
The 1 on 1 nature of baseball is what makes the all star game in baseball still great. A pitcher doesn’t want to get beat by anyone let alone other greats and same with hitters. In others sports if one or two players aren’t giving effort it’s much more noticeable to the quality of the game. Compared to baseball as long as the pitcher and hitter give effort the fielders shouldn’t matter for most plays.
The A.L. has had long droughts too .... they won the 1971 All-Star game (Reggie Jackson almost hit one completely Out of Tiger Stadium), and then they didn't win another game until 1983 ..... (thanks to a grand slam by Fred Lynn) .....
Seeing some of the best players in the league you can clearly tell the difference from an average to superstar type player these guys have cannons run hit field they do everything almost all of them and the ones that don’t specialize in one specific thing and are at the top for that one thing
I'm a little confused about something. If the NL hasn't won an All-Star game since 2012, wouldn't it have been 10 straight All-Star games that the AL has won, rather than nine (2013-2022)?

Great sportsmanship all around and it looked like they genuinely had fun. That’s everything in this game
