From watching Ian's PS3 play through on Platform32 the game play is very similar, but they have improved the controls for the PS5 version. Ian comments on this towards the start of episode 7 of his play though.
Ok so I’m not a pro gamer I usually play on lower difficulty but as time goes on I get better and better. With all that said is demon souls fair or will I just end up breaking my new controller ?
It seems considerably less frustrating than the Dark Souls games, if that helps. You can start on the lowest difficulty & do NG+ several times over if you like to ramp things up gradually.
I find it to be a fairly forgiving game actually.....as long as you're capable of learning from your mistakes/the world. You can only die doing the same thing so many times before your brain says "stop this madness! Go left instead this time" or etc. Lol. Honestly I think the difficulty of this game is WAY overhyped. Granted - I'm not that far into the game, 6 hours and 2-1 being my current playground but still. Even if this game is designed to get progressively harder, I don't think it'll ever be rage inducing.....you level up progressively too 🤷♂️ I'm no pro gamer either, but I come from the school of true rage quit inducing games i.e. regular Nintendo 🤣🤣 when you've beaten games like Time Crisis and Contra, nothing seems impossible 🤷♂️🤣😭

Don’t giv3 up it’s a great game
@@eaglebearer1580 haha I appreciate the push. I ended up doing a temporary trade to my bro for spider man. in a month or so I'll give it another shot :)
@@TheCheesewalrus trust me I get it but it’s so satisfying when you do finally get past a level you been dying on all day lol
@@eaglebearer1580 demon souls should be the final test for an anger management course lol
This was the last place I expected to hear Dear Evan Hansen lyrics and it sent me into a theatre kid fight-or-flight response of nearly breaking out into song.
10/10 video lol
Graphics are impeccable
The miner creatures in world 2 are weak to piercing and magic. So noyt only is piercing good for the narrow paths, but also muchbmote effective than slash on the enemies any way. I wonder if this was intentional.
9:35 was that a double meaning joke
Aoife just has a little cough is all.
I bought it played for awhile i rage its so hard I jus give up idk what to do
DEAR EVAN HANSEN OMG
It’s been how many years now? Why is the backstab and riposte animation still so janky!? Geez.
Nostalgia? There's no way bluepoint would overlook such a simple task like an animation like that - unless it was by design. And nostalgia is the flavor of the month lol.
That helps me sleep at night.
Dear Evan Hansen - it's the hard way, but it's the right way, the right way to break in a glove
I am dead scared to play this game as everything is a 1 hit death
Not quite
I tried temple knight rather than Royalty as I wanted to get better at melee games but fuck it. Going to royalty. Shits too hard lol
Don't have a PS5 yet, but got a copy for PS3 a while ago, might dig it out and give it a shot, has the game play changed at all or is it just a graphical update?
From watching Ian's PS3 play through on Platform32 the game play is very similar, but they have improved the controls for the PS5 version. Ian comments on this towards the start of episode 7 of his play though.
Heres a tip don't spend 2 hours cheesing the red eye knight and boss in the first level only to die twice trying to get a stupid leave losing 30k 😭😭🤢🤮
5* for the Evan Hansen reference in a souls video 😂😂
Well I got my Cyberpunk 2077 refund so I got Demon's Souls and really need tips to begin. Since I'm really not good at these games.
Just bought Demon Souls PS3 version but it hasn’t upgraded me to the PS5 version when I put the disc in. Am I doing something wrong?
Ps5 only supports Ps4 games, demons souls remake is a ps5 game, it's not the same as the ps3 disc
Is "Uphill Climb" a refference to Bojack Horseman? Cause if it is, genius.
I love that show

How do you put the firebombs in the diamond thing like in 9:30?
The equipment screen. Equip in your 5 items, then directional up and down to switch between equipped items
Was not expecting a Dear Evan Hansen reference at all lol
Ok so I’m not a pro gamer I usually play on lower difficulty but as time goes on I get better and better. With all that said is demon souls fair or will I just end up breaking my new controller ?
It seems considerably less frustrating than the Dark Souls games, if that helps. You can start on the lowest difficulty & do NG+ several times over if you like to ramp things up gradually.
Night Cat there is a difficulty setting??
@@hadrianaugustus3547 Sorry, poorly worded. The first playthrough is the easiest difficulty, and then you can repeatedly do New Game + to increase it.
Even if this game is designed to get progressively harder, I don't think it'll ever be rage inducing.....you level up progressively too 🤷♂️
I'm no pro gamer either, but I come from the school of true rage quit inducing games i.e. regular Nintendo 🤣🤣 when you've beaten games like Time Crisis and Contra, nothing seems impossible 🤷♂️🤣😭
Didnt really like this remake. It was the evil ending that killed my love for this remake. i get it, but was way too much.
royalty is basically easy mode (i love it) but not recommended for those looking for challenge. early acess to spells totally trivializes the game up to 2-2
I know some IRL merchants who will sell me as much grass as I like
im in world 1-3 and still cant access other archstones
Head back to the nexus and you get some more info and unlock them after you kill the first boss phalanx
Like 40 more levels of endurance
He’ll sell you as much grass as you want
Sticky white slime.... paus... clears throath.. looooool @9.35
I’d be very surprised if she’s even played the game
It'll be just my luck that when I finally do get a PS5 and demon's souls. I go to play as the royalty class...... They'll NERF it completely!
No fucking checkpoints? Dude wuuuut. I can't get past bolterra. I just don't have the patience. I get like 2 mjns further each attempt lol
“Right naoiw”
Please help me this game is murdering me
Combat feels clunky compared to Elden Ring. I can't really get into it. So far I've beaten one boss and became frustrated and stopped playing.
Instead of continuing on world 1 go back to the Nexus, level up and upgrade your weapon and try the first stage of a different world.
Are you saying "ye"?
1:11 Dear Evan Hansen
Sticky white slime.. hmmm..
God I love her accent. Whew...
“Use grass as much as you think you need to get through the obstacles you’re facing.” I already do that in real life but not with crescent moon grass ya feel.
I like this girl
Dear Evan Hansen?
