The watchdog and Amygdala, which normally aren’t really too bad but since chalice dungeons lock you in a tiny room with giant bosses with big AoE attacks it means 1 mistake will cost you the entire run. Now there are work arounds to make it easier, players that modded their PS4’s can create chalice glyphs and essentially create their own chalice dungeons and it gets uploaded and saved so anyone, even non modded PS4’s can use and someone made a modded chalice #4 dungeon without the HP reduction debuff which makes this whole argument null since it’s the only real challenge for platinum when doing it originally. Still counts for the trophy so your call on what choice you make, there is also chalice glyphs that let you fight unused bosses; albeit some have missing animations since they were unfinished but they can make for cool content too. Also yeah DS3 isn’t difficult but you will want to make a 2-5 hour playlist of your favorite music while repeatedly grinding enemies praying to rngsus for 30, 1% drops multiple times for items/spells tied to covenants that are tied to trophy’s

I just got the platinum for this game last week. Hardest part was the online trophies and doing ng+ for boss souls. Those mindflares on the way to the old monk where about to make me quit. Overall though it wasn’t to bad and flamelurker/man eater are the only hard bosses in ng+

This is quite literally impossible for me, im missing a few trophies but i cant seem to find anyone that needs help with a boss therefore no plat, this was also my last plat in the series
the networking code is totally busted, and they didn't fix it in the new version which is kind of ridiculous. People are playing it, but in the entire game I never got invaded, never got summoned, none of my messages were rated, etc.

Currently trying to platinum this, I have to get to pure white character tendency and pure black to get the last 2 rings, then I'll start up my ng+ to finish grabbing the last spells and miracles. The hardest part is finding someone to invade me so far Edit: grinding the pure bladestone and golden coin was a bit of a pain but only took me 3 hours, thank God they changed the drop rates

Got the Platinums in Sekiro and Bloodborne and have decided to go for this. I played the PS3 version back when it was an import and found the remake a little too easy on my first run. Currently in NG+ which despite being a LV.107 feels like never having played the game before. The mot challenging NG+ boss so far has been Flamelurker. I'm now having to deal with world tendency to get certain weapons and rings for the Platinum. Typing this while watching your video. When you see False King begin winding up his AOE, run towards him and strike to cancel it.
Hey I’m new into these open world games. Just bought Elden ring, demons souls, and dragons dogma. Is it normal for players to use so much magic in these games? Reason I’m asking is because it seems boring having magic absolutely obliterate bosses and enemies. Makes the game look like a cakewalk as opposed to sword and weapon combat. I know I can use what I want but my question is how normal is it for players to use magic in these open world games?
It is normal nowadays but it’s make the game kinda easy just to get out of range of the opponent and then use magic the whole time. In my opinion it destroys the game.
Farming vertebrae shackles offline is actual misery. Online don't bother unless you're a god pvp-er because everyone uses meme/twink builds. Somehow concords are easier to farm and sunlight medals are earned through co-op which was nice. But FUCK Moundmakers into the next life
Were you wearing the Thief Ring during Tower Knight? The archers mostly ignore you if you wear it and hang out by the closed gate. Also locking on makes it 1000x easier. He’s one of the easier bosses. Ive never seen Phalanx heal.

I'm sure this doesn't help at this point, but if you want the Tower Knight to slam his shield down then you need to be up close to him. If you're out of range, he's going to use his ranged options (in this case his long spear) whereas ranged options wouldn't be appropriate up close

I platinum'd the og demon's souls on ps3. That game was delightfully broken with item dupes and cheese tactics like killing Allant by shooting him with a bow through the fog door.
This is only easy if you have friends to manipulate character tendency unfortunately. Other than that you have to farm soul remains and cheese black phantoms and hope they just don't outright ignore the soul remains and stunlock you.

I have never actually seen the Phalanx heal - that would be frustrating if you had no idea what was going on.
It happens when you don't attack it for a period of time.

pro tip if you're a mage you don't need to use the fist of god, just hold it on your off-hand and kill the dragon god with a spell

You have to rescue everyone again either way.
You will still also need the 2 Dragon demons souls as well.

The stages are the real bosses of this game. Aside from Flamelurker and the Man Eaters, the bosses are fairly easy.

Dang, yea the world tendency system is VERY annoying to keep track of and is by far the worst part about this plat
