@@vesmoper Got him today and walking though the fog without further movement didn't prevent him from charging. So I guess it's fixed. But I didn't try any further since going on distance to either force his AOE or charge attack is quite the key to kill him pretty easy.
4:57 For anyone looking to do this for Pure White Character Tendency to get the Ally's Ring from the Monumental, be warned that Demon's Souls actually knows when you cheese one of these Black Phantoms (gravity deaths and poison/plagued), and will *not* raise your Character Tendency if killed in these manners. Take it from someone who couldn't get their tendency to White for at least a year in original because I kept poisoning them to death and didn't know the game had counter measures against that 🤠I assume this happens in the remake as well. And thanks for the shoutout at the end Phobia 🥰Fantastic quality video, good, concise explanations for the glitch performings.
So, it turns out that I "cheesed" Scirvir. Altough not really, he just suicided while I was on the other side of the tunnel. Is it just me or the Black phantoms NPCs of the remake are easier/buggier? I remember having a really hard time with Satsuki on the PS3, but on the PS5 he seems dumb. On the PS3 as soon as he reaches a certain health level he does a back step and heals _immediately._ He's so fast to heal that you have to watch your stamina, because as soon as you run out he will heal. On the PS5 he never healed himself when I was near him and I purposedly gave him ample (well, ample compared to his PS3 counterpart) opportunities.

I'm the guy who discovered the Armored Spider Skip, with Distortion2 helping me iron out the flaws. :) You can actually completely skip the Armored Spider, but you are prone to getting either softlocked, or having your game crash, due to the second part of Stonefang Tunnel loading in too fast for the software to handle. It's really really interesting to see though, because I suppose the collision map loads in before the textures!
There is also a glitch that can corrupt your playthrough if you are invading that has been in since the remakes release. If you invade and lose the connection whilst loading you can still appear in the host world although they won't be there, when you quit and return to your world it resets the area you are in. I had completed all of stonefang, killed the dragon god but after the invasion glitch it went back to square one and the NPCs in the nexus returned to their original locations and you can no longer interact with them so then you can't buy spells and miracles.
You can't talk to the NPCs again and bring them back to The Nexus? If not, it might still be useful to perform right before you're getting ready to finish the game, since the bosses would respawn and you'd be able to kill them again for a copy of their souls, correct? Go back to Ostrava get the brass telescope and kill him to get the mausoleum key. Ostrava will spawn in 1-2 well alive and you can continue his mission while unlocking the Demonbrandt.
You can get the dragon bone smasher without PWWT with the dragon god column skip too. Just go left at the start instead of right and you can walk through the rubble before the smasher
That deathwarp glitch happened to me once. I just completed my 3rd game and was starting a new one. When I spawned at the Boletarian Gates, a black phantom came appeared. I tried to fend them off, but they managed to kill me. Then, out of nowhere, I appeared in the Throne of the False King. I spawned right next to Old King Allant. Thankfully he doesn't get aggressive until the cutscene plays out.
Some more exploits: You can poison cloud both False King Allant and Maneaters if you wear the thief's ring and running next to the stairs at the beginning of their fight to lose their aggro You can lure Old King Doran away from the bridge to his room and when he starts to return to his spawn you can headbutt him down the stairs and kill him with fall damage There's a safe spot on the top of Leechmonger's room where you can safely throw projectiles, protecting you from his ranged attack
Most likely, at 7:20, the biggest reason this occurs is that whatever is updating the level to load in objects and collisions is running on function similar to Update() in Unity. That means it’s process is directly tied to the game’s frame rate, meaning the change in frame rate lets this glitch occur. This is why it’s so common for these kind of glitches to occur on emulators, where games used to be tied to a certain frame rate, but now the boost changes how the game works. A recent example was the day one release of the Nier: Replicant Remaster for PC, because some computers were so beefy and running the game at such a high frame rate, some animations were actually moving too fast on the game, along with other bugs. Another example is one seen in Doom Eternal speed runs. With the weapon wheel out, the game slows down time, so by placing yourself at certain collision points, slowing time, and jumping, the game is registering: “player has jumped, put X amount of force on the model to propel it up” at MANY more frames that it was meant to, leading to X amount of force being put on the player multiple times, launching them at Mach speed. It would not surprise me if there are other glitches and exploits within Demon Souls that could occur with the frame data. I just wanted to share a possible explanation for something I’ve seen in a lot of games and a lot in my time in game development.
Besides doing the glitch, if anybody is still having issues with Dragon God's boss fight, 2-hand the Uchikatana or the Makoto and all the rubble will be a 1-hit. 👍
Here’s one for you, saving and exiting in a host’s world as a cooperator doesn’t save what you do in their world. It saves your last instance of being in your world. So the “quit by force closing” is just an unnecessary step, saving and quitting as a summon will not remove any dropped items from your inventory when you load back in ^^ In short they just made duping no longer require a USB/online storage lol
You can also do the poison cloud thing with Old King Doran, just use it without passing the middle of the room and he’ll never attack you. The eternal warrior/ cloranthy ring is really good, but killing him will reduce your world tendency, so do at your own risk
Its possible that a death by poison/gravity won't effect your character tendency, but I can't confirm for sure. There were a few situations in the original where this was true
@@PhobiaSoft if he dies to poison cloud it counts as a environmental death, meaning you still get the souls and gear, but don’t have your tendency affected
The only glitch I kept taking advantage of is quitting with PS button after dying. Doing that reloads your character to where you were ten seconds ago. So if you die to a boss, press PS button and quit. Then enter game again, and you'll be right outside the boss area. You don't have to trek all the way back. This was very useful for 4-2 Boss, the Old Hero. That specific Trek was really long. Also, it saves your World Tendency from going to black, while keeping the health bonus from Human Form.

Wow these are awesome. And very glad that the Cracked Talisman glitch works, I leveled up my Magic a bit to get other damage buffs (and Warding is such an amazing spell) but woah for the damage I could've used that glitch
13:13 I don't know if this is relevant or the same, but I remember doing something similar to get to the Flamelurker boss (cat ring wasn't required) I just jumped off the ledge and, as long as I didn't hit anything on the way down to the ground floor, quitting out and loading back in would do the same thing (not sure if this was patched) It really saves a bit of time if you keep getting your butt kicked by that guy while you're learning his moveset
There’s also another glitch you can do on quite a few bosses in this game. The bow glitch. Can’t beat the penetratior? Easy solution…. Enter the fog gate while looking behind you, as soon as you see the boss health bar pop up, hold down L2 to aim your bow and it will put you back outside the fog gate. Then it’s as simple as spamming poison cloud
When you said what you did about 0 hp all it reminded me of was how to beat slave zero on the dreamcast. I tried to beat that game for months when the dreamcast came out, never could, one day I was trying again, got to the first boss, and killed it as it killed me. The game went into cutscene and then moved to the next level. Since the game said I had 0 hp and couldn't go lower death was no longer possible. Was able to zombie beat the game, but had to finish it in one sitting.
@@blaquenoise I believe he's referring to the fact that while Demon's Souls got a full remake of this scope, which was done by a developer who wasn't even FROMSTOFTWARE, Dark Souls 1 got its "Remastered" edition, which ended up being little more than a port with some co-op quality of life changes.
@@steel5897 It won’t. Demon Souls is Sony IP made by From Soft. They also have BluePoint as their second party to remake their games, which is coinciding with new gen console. Dark Souls is entirely Bandai’s and FromSoft’s. Next to no reason or incentive to remake.
@@cunnyman I don't think he was saying that Sony would have to do it I mean, if Dark Souls got a remake, it would sell like water, especially after that shitty remaster But i wouldn't like that, Dark Souls is too solid, i think a remaster just to keep it on the new gen is the way to go But they won't do that, cause they want money with little effort
While a lot of these are original glitches for this version of the game, I am pretty sure that just like with the Shadow of the Colossus remake, they made old glitches appear in this version themselves. I remeber that in some type of speedrun video I saw it was confirmed that Bluepoint had to put old glitches in SOTC Remake manually since the game was made from the ground up and it wasnt based on the old code and they added them so that speedruners can still enjoy the game the same way as always. Same went for the Crash Bandicoot remake (I know, not the same people made it but intentions were the same) It's kinda funny to see that something that is still cut out from games like an unwanted plant is actually respected in remakes.
You can also use the cinematic mode glitch in the Dragon God boss room to run to the left and grab the Dragon Bone Smasher if there is debris in the way due to not having pure white world tendency.
I actually tried this and it didn't work. I think because the world tendency rubble isn't breakable, its a solid object that gets placed or removed based on WT
@@PhobiaSoft I tried replying 2 times already, but they were randomly deleted or something (maybe cause I tried including a link). Good thing thet are! Because technically that's everything Bluepoint had to do, after all they had a Blueprint (yeah sorry) already, the harder part was already done, and they could focus on it That makes me dream tho, a cooperation between companies, like fromsoft and bluepoint, each one doing what they do best, that'd be amazing

I have something that will help a lot of people, I found it myself ,during dying animation press ps button and close the game ,when you start game your character will still live, works every time. In dark souls 3 and bloodborne you need to completely switch off console ASAP to avoid death. Other thing ,you can easy kill King Allant with bow ,you can interrupt his blast attack every time with arrows ,actually you can kill easly half of bosses with bow. Hope that will help.
I tried doing the spider skip, when i quit the game i kept falling and never died, then i quit the game and loaded back in. I spawned and everything was blue, i walked and got killed in an explosion in the tunnels area. I respawned behind the spider

Stay strong! Demons souls is one of the more unforgiving games! Bon fires (implemented in dark souls 1 and on) really helped the playability and stress levels!
Fantastic video! I’ve yet to play Demon’s Souls but it will be the first game I get once I’m able to get my hands on a PS5. You have a clear, concise way of explaining these sometimes quite complex glitches which is much appreciated. And you have an awesome drawl too. Big Ups! Edit: Grammar
the flamelurker- freeze: Trigger the boss fight quit out and go through the right side of the fogwall. face the wall and during the entry animation grab a bow with two hands and hold L1
Also I was just playing the remaster and I invaded and spawned as that boss with the funny turban and I didn't have any healing so I hid behind a column next to the entrance like a ninny and for some reason the guy died the second he walked in the fog gate and I got the win and the nice hat. Not sure if that was a repeatable glitch or a one time anomaly but I recorded it.
I pre-ordered Demon Souls I got the game on the PS5 launch day but I didn't get the console till four-and-a-half months later it was a nightmare trying to find a PS5 but I got one at Best Buy. It was well worth the four-and-a-half month wait to finally play The Demon Souls remake the original pre-order I made for the PS5 was a scam $500 gone
Yeah that glitch needs a fixing. I figured it out first day, I have a habit of closing app when I rage lol. So I got mad asf on Demons souls and closed app when I died, when I logged back in it’s like I never died. It works 100% of the time and it never ever fails, ngl been using it now on my last run for the plat, cool dying to a boss and not having to walk back after fighting them so many times
Called save scumming. In Dark souls you don't reload as if you didn't die, but if you die in a boss room. Your souls will drop outside of the boss room so you don't have to go back in to get them
Great video! I think the full health glitch is the most silly thing of the list. I wish I could have done the gold coin glitch but changing to the default version is a pain ;(
Why is saving and quitting not reloading me so I can go further in the wall? It's a new glitch that only works because of the update? I don't have internet access right now so luckily I have a fresh copy installed. I'm trying to get to where I can do the gold coin but I have to beat the spider first I'm told
It’s not a supply shortage it’s an artificial demand problem. If they were making 3times the ps 5s the scalpers’ bots would still be buying them up. Online retailers need to up their site security
I once were fighting against the real king on my first run, but he was too powerful, so i decided to run away until i reached the catapults, he got stuck on the wall and i got his whole armor and weapon for the first time for killing him
I remembered using the souls duplication glitch involving thomas the storage guy because I really don't want to finish the game 3 times to get all the spells to get the trophy.
Like most others, I am finding it impossible to get a PS5. The scalpers are the main problem, but I believe this could be avoided if retail stores would simply sell them in stores. As long as they are ONLY sold On-line, then scalpers will have their massive advantage with bots. Selling the Console in stores and limiting them to one per household is the only real solution, imho.
@@paranoyd70 I got mine day one using afterpay. Use that, and they don't even credit check you either like laybuy does (if that be an issue for you). 🙃
In the first Demon's Souls and every once in a while in Dark Souls if I died and hit the power button immediately it would give me sass about not shutting down properly but there was a chance I would be back a few moments before I died. In Demon's Souls it was 50/50 or better odds, but once in a while I would double die, meaning it would register a second death and my souls would be forfeit.

Lmao, always one of you umm actually I was on NG+99. Why are you on here then
Wow these are awesome. And very glad that the Cracked Talisman glitch works, I leveled up my Magic a bit to get other damage buffs (and Warding is such an amazing spell) but woah for the damage I could've used that glitch
13:13 I don't know if this is relevant or the same, but I remember doing something similar to get to the Flamelurker boss (cat ring wasn't required)
I just jumped off the ledge and, as long as I didn't hit anything on the way down to the ground floor, quitting out and loading back in would do the same thing (not sure if this was patched)
It really saves a bit of time if you keep getting your butt kicked by that guy while you're learning his moveset
Oh! You addressed it right after 😅 my bad
12:59 *He has done what we have all dreamed of*
i thought you were sopposed to do this in the first place because i heard that he trapped the religous guy and missed out on a shop
Then it’s as simple as spamming poison cloud
bruh I was literally scrolling through your channel and you just uploaded a new video
perfect timing 🙏
When you said what you did about 0 hp all it reminded me of was how to beat slave zero on the dreamcast. I tried to beat that game for months when the dreamcast came out, never could, one day I was trying again, got to the first boss, and killed it as it killed me. The game went into cutscene and then moved to the next level. Since the game said I had 0 hp and couldn't go lower death was no longer possible. Was able to zombie beat the game, but had to finish it in one sitting.
Man, seeing DS remake again just really makes me feel sad about the fact that what we got for Dark Souls 1.
???
@@blaquenoise I believe he's referring to the fact that while Demon's Souls got a full remake of this scope, which was done by a developer who wasn't even FROMSTOFTWARE, Dark Souls 1 got its "Remastered" edition, which ended up being little more than a port with some co-op quality of life changes.
Be patient and Dark Souls too will get a good remake, it's a solidified modern classic. It might take 10 years though.
@@steel5897
It won’t. Demon Souls is Sony IP made by From Soft. They also have BluePoint as their second party to remake their games, which is coinciding with new gen console.
Dark Souls is entirely Bandai’s and FromSoft’s. Next to no reason or incentive to remake.
@@cunnyman I don't think he was saying that Sony would have to do it
I mean, if Dark Souls got a remake, it would sell like water, especially after that shitty remaster
But i wouldn't like that, Dark Souls is too solid, i think a remaster just to keep it on the new gen is the way to go
But they won't do that, cause they want money with little effort
You can glitch your luck to zero by using a gold coin and having a buddy souls suck you. Somehow nobody ever talks about this one.
The full health glitch can also be done by opening photo mode after death and quitting the game through the ps5 menu
no need for photo mode. Just press and hold PS button as soon as you die.
Same went for the Crash Bandicoot remake (I know, not the same people made it but intentions were the same)
It's kinda funny to see that something that is still cut out from games like an unwanted plant is actually respected in remakes.
Anyway, that's strange cause I believe I did it on the current patch, and it worked flawlessly for me. I followed a post on GameFAQs that said to get it AFTER beating Dragon God.
These are still the best graphics I’ve ever seen in any game . I wish Elden Ring would look like this :/
Yeah, but FromSoftware was never about graphics, I mean ds3 was released in 2016 and Gta 5 in 2013, but ds3 is still a masterpiece.
@@mrgrouge2392 I agree but it’s still nice to think about 😅
Good thing thet are!
Because technically that's everything Bluepoint had to do, after all they had a Blueprint (yeah sorry) already, the harder part was already done, and they could focus on it
That makes me dream tho, a cooperation between companies, like fromsoft and bluepoint, each one doing what they do best, that'd be amazing
I literally was saying this as soon as I saw the Demon's Souls remake.
If i were to make a game. I wouldn't patch any glitches (only the ones that skip parts of the game, not like glitches that are bad). The players found a way! I'm not gonna take that away
Ive accepted the fact I’ll never get a ps5 so here I am playing the original demon souls online on the private ps3 server.
Demon souls is my first souls game , and i have to say it looks gorgeous, and it's amazing, is hard at the beginning but once you level up it gets a bit easier, and i feel like the times i die are fair because of my mistakes
Demon's was my first souls game too. To this day, its still a kickass game and a great place to start
try bloodborne then one of the souls games it's one amazing game.
I respawned behind the spider
when he says the player base is small, it’s almost nonexistent. ive been invaded maybe 6 times across all of my characters and playthroughs and most of them were from the same guys
Not sure what's up with that because I've been invaded hundreds of times and Old Monk summons are incredibly frequent.
@@hatskeleton635 im referring to being invaded. once you get over level 50-60 there’s literally, and I mean literally nobody. you can stand in body from anywhere for hours and get no invasions
@@Zwarlie Latria 2 was always the hotspot for me. I would get invaded nearly always when spawning there. Also invading didn’t took too long (apart from monk summon)
If you quit the game while dying on bloodborne (i guess it works on the others games too, but i didn't try) you can also not actually die, if you close the game fast enough (i don't really know the time, but as fast as possible) when you enter the game again you will be where you died, the times i manage to do it my bloodstain was on the ground, and i had the same amount of hp that i had before taking the fatal blow, did it in the release version, don't know if it works with the patch, but i think so
0:04 I do not remember the maiden in black being that thicc
It turns blue because bluepoint made the remake
This is the only explanation
Looks fun if only I could play this
The freke glitch took me like 15 tries but finally worked. Thank you 🙏
Hey man, love you videos and their detail. Definitely a good watch for the souls community. Also, will you be making any videos on sekiro glitches? There's a lot of them in it.
That's the plan! Havent played Sekiro yet so I'll need a little time to become familiar with it
@@PhobiaSoft Ohhh you havent played it yet?
Busy life dude
Get ready for Elden Ring tho!
And, thanks for the great videos :p
just as i found your channel. an immediate upload after 3 month what a mad lad. much love
Since I'm just now playing this game and it's 2023. And I've pulled out most of my hair from having to restart over and over. I thank you for teaching me the secret handshake.
THAT SPIDER SKIP ONE WTFF.. you’re a genius loooool this was an amazing video bro
Appreciate it chief ✌
Just picked up my ps3 from my pops and baught demon souls. Gonna play it for the first time ever, so excited.
Hope you have been enjoying it ❤
Impressive work as always.
11:40 that fucking chat lol
Please keep these videos coming these will help during my Plat Playthrough also is there a glitch to get faster pure white
I just want to be able to delete characters
im new to souls games and i must say this is much more complex than i thought
Stay strong! Demons souls is one of the more unforgiving games! Bon fires (implemented in dark souls 1 and on) really helped the playability and stress levels!
Fantastic video! I’ve yet to play Demon’s Souls but it will be the first game I get once I’m able to get my hands on a PS5. You have a clear, concise way of explaining these sometimes quite complex glitches which is much appreciated. And you have an awesome drawl too. Big Ups!
Edit: Grammar
I can’t seem to get the gold coin glitch to work can u help?
@@29mbj62I think its been patched and he tells u that in the video.
the flamelurker- freeze: Trigger the boss fight quit out and go through the right side of the fogwall. face the wall and during the entry animation grab a bow with two hands and hold L1
The only glitch I remember from the original is shooting arrows from behind the fog wall to kill the first maneater.
Damn, they patched the gold coin glitch
I don't have a PS5 yet but it's still a very interesting video
You can also spawn behind the spider demon by dying near the first bonfire by an invading player
Can I use 2 northern regalia at the same time?
I pre-ordered Demon Souls I got the game on the PS5 launch day but I didn't get the console till four-and-a-half months later it was a nightmare trying to find a PS5 but I got one at Best Buy. It was well worth the four-and-a-half month wait to finally play The Demon Souls remake the original pre-order I made for the PS5 was a scam $500 gone
I prey a glitch will be found to get that armor in offline
I would like to watch this but I haven't beaten the game yet. Trying to play it blind, or somewhat blind
Didn't expect the gold coin glitch since it's patched
The wrongwarp glitch aswell
Knew if I didn't mention it, people would tell me I "forgot them" lol
this guy never disappoints, you are underated
Wait, rolling through Latria’s arrow trap isn’t the only way to do it? That’s how I’ve always done it
Same
I've only ever played Bloodborne, but my God, is this game worth every penny. If you can get your hands on a PS5 then this game is a must-buy. 10/10
Your souls will drop outside of the boss room so you don't have to go back in to get them
@@mog_3825 for sure. But this literally works anywhere, no need to be in a boss room
@@Jp-gc6bh Well, duh.
@@mog_3825 I think you’re cute
So you say, if I die to a boss and immediately exit/save I get respawned right at the boss door? (If so does this work on current patch level?)
Great video! I think the full health glitch is the most silly thing of the list. I wish I could have done the gold coin glitch but changing to the default version is a pain ;(
how change to the default version? only if u reinstall the game?
Great video, just upset you didnt say Umbasa at the end 😡 lmaoo 😉
I should have!!
Great stuff as always✌
Seeing this upload put a big smile on my face.
Meanwhile, me who has no Demon's Souls, much less a PS5:
ತ_ʖತ
Why is saving and quitting not reloading me so I can go further in the wall? It's a new glitch that only works because of the update? I don't have internet access right now so luckily I have a fresh copy installed. I'm trying to get to where I can do the gold coin but I have to beat the spider first I'm told
If you have the physical copy of demon souls u can still do the gold coin glitch just don't update to the latest version patch
What if I do the glitch get all my souls, raise my stats then after that's all done I play online will it all still Carry over?
So it didn't take months for players to solve the new hidden content Bluepoint included, rather it took them months to completely break it.
It’s not a supply shortage it’s an artificial demand problem. If they were making 3times the ps 5s the scalpers’ bots would still be buying them up. Online retailers need to up their site security
I once were fighting against the real king on my first run, but he was too powerful, so i decided to run away until i reached the catapults, he got stuck on the wall and i got his whole armor and weapon for the first time for killing him
So what if u still want to do luck glitch but have allredy patched disc version
Delete save data, delete game updates, physically disconnect the PS5 from the internet, insert disc 👍
Bold of you to assume I have friends to help me duplicate, as im the only one who got a ps5
As if I wouldnt notice windmills in the background. Good ass rapper
If I ever get a ps5 and manage to find a friend who also has one I'll be sure to glitch in those coins
I remembered using the souls duplication glitch involving thomas the storage guy because I really don't want to finish the game 3 times to get all the spells to get the trophy.
Scirvir is easy, just bait him with a Soul Remains and backstab him to make him fall into the pit.
Yeah but it doesn't count towards the world tendancy.
Have you gotten one yet? Just genuinely curious.
@@taurusoushii9916
No, I stopped trying because I can no longer afford it. :(
@@paranoyd70 I got mine day one using afterpay. Use that, and they don't even credit check you either like laybuy does (if that be an issue for you). 🙃
How bout a remake of infamous 1 and 2 bluepoint?
Very interesting, much appreciated.
