What makes Sukuna such a great villain isn't his trash talk or his overwhelming power. Don't get me wrong both are a huge plus in my book. There is nothing more disappointing then a character who talks a lot of crap but can't back it up or live up to their own hype so it's always nice to see characters that are implied to be overwhelmingly powerful actually turn out to be overwhelmingly powerful. What makes Sukuna a great villain is how expressive and animated he is in both his resentment and even outright disregard for everyone and everything around him. You never look at his body language and wonder whether or not he has just a little bit of respect for who he's fighting...nope... one look will tell you that he's either resentful, dismissive, or just outright annoyed by his enemy. Everything from his body language to his facial expressions loudly broadcast exactly what he thinks of the person he's fighting. And I can't help but like his character for that.
For me, what makes him special is that he backs up what he says. Too many times, villains "want respect" and "don't care about people" but have a body count of zero and leave everyone of any importance resenting them until the end. Saikuna, however, puts the fear of god into EVERYONE, and if they so much as treat him like a king, their body gets added to the pile. You know, the one he created from all those who had the audacity to exist within a half mile of his presence catching strays from shots at things he actually finds halfway decent.

if you're a manga reader, you'll see that that's not fully true, which is actually what makes him super complex too. he seems to humor those with strength and engages in philosophical debates with them regarding the meaning of strength. granted, that's only if someone impresses him/isn't annoying.

If only one person stood at exactly every square mile of Shibuya, Sukuna would have taken out about 12% of Shibuya. Which equates to 28,800 people. ON TOP OF THAT, It’s Halloween therefore everyone is walking around Shibuya square. So let’s say 20% of the population was at Shibuya square? 48,000 people, give or take, died. 1,001 is an insane lowball😭

Thinking about it, Jogo *doomed himself.* He fed TEN of Sukuna's fingers to Itadori, but didn't expect the King of DAWGS to come out, humiliate him, whoop him across Shibuya, acknowledge that he was a strong Curse, and kill him. Considering each finger makes Sukuna stronger as his host swallows them one after the other, Jogo really set himself up.
Making Sukuna come out was the whole purpose of that feeding session. Yuji can handle a finger a day no prob but sukuna will resurface if there is more. Thats why jogo mass fed him 10 fingers at once. He wanted to make a deal with sukuna.
It just happened that Sukuna had his own agenda and didn't want Jogo's offer.
Also, Jogo himself was perfectly content with dying as long as curses lived and thrived as a species.
