    Farah, I've been binge watching your makeup tutorials and though your makeup always turns out on fleek, I never seem to get over how fresh and clean your face looks before you apply makeup!! Literally skin goals. What is your nighttime skin care routine? Daily routine? Please make a video!! xx

    Actually, cold water is amazing for the skin and for your hair. It keeps your skin firm. It's the same concept as running an ice cube on your face. I learned this from researching Korean and Japanese cleansing methods.

    I've been washing my face with honey for over two months (oily/combo skin) and its the BEST thing I have ever used! Honestly...amazing. And to exfoliate, add a pinch of cinnamon. :)

    Cool! This is similar to using oats. Milled oats with a few drops of water make a paste to cleanse the face. Leave on for 5 to 10 mins. Will leave your skin as soft as a baby's bottom. This is more for dry allergic skin. Great for calming ezcema.

      Oatmeal and onions are my new go to mask, but using oats as a cleanser is definitely very calming and I love it!

    yay Farah I have used honey for about a year and it has cleared up my skin no end. It doesnt dry or irritate my skin. I use Manuka which has antibactirial properties. Just to put it out there I tried several types of raw honey but I was highly allergic - Its definately not for everyone but happy to see it works for you

    Honey does wonders for my skin! I have combination/dry skin and whenever my skin feels dry or tight or starts flaking I immediately use honey and it soothes my skin so well. I love your chocolate, coffee, honey mask Farah and yes I ate some of it lol.

    You can use honey to remove foundation, even waterproof. But like a makeup wipe, you have to use a cleanser afterwards. It doesn't work for eye makeup though. It's too sticky. But I would say use the liquid pure honey version. Minimally processed, some even have particles left in there. You can tell if honey is real if you pour some of it in a cup of water and it just sinks to the bottom, like a foreign substance. It won't mix with the water. If it dissolves, it's not pure. Also, pure honey should slightly sting on open wounds and in your eyes. But it's not a bad sting, nor really a sting, it's more of a peppery feeling. Pretty tolerable.

    Tried I was surprised at how well it rinses off, I was thinking about how sticky honey is and would if it would be difficult to wash off, rinses right off with lukewarm water and left my skin feeling so soft. I will do it again and again. Thanks for the tip!

  • @Laure101
    @Laure101 10 лет назад +1

    I really like this idea but I must ask that you use the product for longer than a month to decide if its good or not to use. It may not have given you any problems so far but it takes a month for your cells to turn over and after that cell turnover process is when it's best to indicate if the product has really helped or not. Keep us updated on how this works for you and try not to change your skincare routine for accurate results

    I tried using honey before. I used various brands of raw, organic, high quality honey, and it didn't work for me. I broke out, my pores became clogged, and my face became sensitive. So don't worry if it doesn't work for you, it's not for everyone.

      TheZeZeMe I used the J.R Liggett's bar shampoo in Jojoba and peppermint. That's what makes my hair feel fuller and the apple cider vinegar rinse is what is making my hair super soft. I shampoo my hair with the bar, then I mix a 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1 cup of warm water. Pour it over my hair and leave it on while I do whatever else I need to do, then rinse it off. No more shampoo/conditioner! :) Hope that helps. (PS I got the bar off Amazon for around $6.)

    • @aflorencio3
      @aflorencio3 10 лет назад

      Hi Masuma, i heard about the same ingredients you mentioned and i was about to give it a try but a lot of ppl said the honey will throw off your ph and your skin would break out like crazy.. Does this sounds familiar? I have oily skin and breakouts..

    • @sams517
      @sams517 10 лет назад

      aflorencio3 i've been using the same thing she has, but just honey and sugar and no lemon juice, for over 2 years now and it's the sole reason i don't get big breakouts anymore i think. and it makes my small microscopic bumps go away quicker too. just make sure you use powdered sugar because it's less abrasive on the skin and don't scrub too hard. and maybe dilute the lemon juice if you need to if you're skin's sensitive otherwise it'll burn

    • @TheZeZeMe
      @TheZeZeMe 10 лет назад

      +Shoppingstar525 I have tiny flesh colored bumps too but nothing makes them go away! Does your powder sugar and honey make those go away? Also, what skin type do you have? I have oily skin and if you have a different skin type it may not work for me. Lastly, how much of each do you use to make the mixture? Thanks!

    • @sams517
      @sams517 10 лет назад

      i'm pretty sure they won't ever go away like for good, but the mixture calms them down enough to where i can hide it better with makeup. and you can't tell unless you're literally RIGHT up in my face. i have combo skin but more on the oily side! honey in general's great if you have acne/bumps bc it reduces the inflammation. i usually just eyeball the amount of each ingredient. i like mine a bit on the grittier side so it doesn't slip off my face and cuz i like the exfoliation but if you have sensitive skin, use more money. experiment with the consistency till you find what works for you! oh and its important to use it normally if you wanna see actual results.

    • @masumabegum9608
      @masumabegum9608 10 лет назад

      Honey has never done anything but make my skin softer. I don't think it would put the ph off.
      If anything it's the lemon juice that would change your ph
      Try the method. You prob have all the ingredients at home so won't cost anything
      As for the flesh coloured bumps, I think it's melanin. Have a steam facial and have them extract the melanin. It would prob hurt especially on the nose and above the chin. But it's worth it.

    Hi Farah!
    Thank you for sharing this video! I am currently using Jojoba oil to cleanse with but I really want to try this method as well. My concern is that recently I have noticed that my method hasn't been removing all of my concealer. What do you use to remove your makeup? I hope to hear from you!

    There are so many types of manuka honey..which one is the best one to get? Where did you get yours from? 😽 I would love to try this one as my cleanser because I don't want to spend loads of money on cleansers that I'm not sure of whether it will work or not. At least this one is natural and pure! Thank you farah😅🌸 💕

    Please do a video on the oil you use for your face? I was using the rosehip oil but I heard it wasn't good for acne prone skin. Could you mention what is good for both skin types?

      some honey on the market has added chemicals so you have to make sure u have 100% raw honey but it also may be that ur allergic to honey

I have combo skin and now my chin and aroun my nose it's getting dry and with whiteheads :/ I hope u share what toner and moisturizer I use along with this and also your night routine, I'm tired of buying cleansers,toners and moisturizers that are just burning and drying my face.. I hope u reply,I don't know what to do anymore I even scrub with a towel and it seems like I'm making it get worst :/

      sweetie dont ever scrub ur face with a towel its so bad for you! its too abrasive! try the honey and see how u like it.. also try a more gentle exfoliator.. i like to use epsom salt sometimes

    Farah PLEASE HELP! For the past 2 months the skin around my eyes has been dry,red and flaky! I think it was an allergic reaction and I found out what's causing it (not sure) and I stopped using it,but the dry patches won't go away. If I stop using makeup for a couple of days it goes away, but as soon as I put any eye makeup on the next day my skin is a nightmare! I know it's not any of the makeup products i use,because I've been using them since before the problem appeared. I've tried vaseline and oils and creams but nothing helps :( I can't even put concealer over the redness,because it looks very very dry and flakey.
