That looks delicious. But I'm wondering why you used yeast if you are not baking the bread. I honestly would like to know why as I plan to make some. Thanks in advance of any reply.

Such a great recipe. Thank you, very easy steps to follow. Make sure to roll the dough thin almost to the point you feel it can crack, it cooks better this way. Also even if the cheeses are salty already, put some salt in the spinach, they need it lol.

I made some today; instead of raw spinach, I sauteed onions with spinach, salt pepper, and paprika then topped it with Feta cheese. I am sure making the homemade dough would taste a lot better, but I stuffed the filling in gluten-free tortilla bread and then lightly grilled it on the stove.
Very good, thank you for the inspiration.

Not many people knows this recipe. The ones who know belong to the culture (turkish, kurdish, arabian, etc.)
    And you really did well!
You can also do it with mincemeat (you gotta fry it first). The dough can be thinner too :)

Hi, this looks delicious! In Turkey we roll the "yufka" (dough) thinner. You can sprinkle some flour under and over the dough to keep it from sticking. This will make it much easier to work with. I'm also not sure if the onions would be properly cooked this way. Maybe sauteeing them before adding to the filling would be better.

Hi Dina! This is my take on the Turkish gozleme with spinach and feta cheese filling. As far as I know gozleme can be with various type of filling, savory or sweet. Do I and the others who would like to try to make gozleme have to have Turkish spinach, salt, flour, water also before we can make them? If yes then it’s a pity because instead of sharing your delicious food to the world you’re intimidating people to even want to try it.
