I am a Madrid fan, but to put Carvajal in front of Thuram is criminal. Thuram won both the Euro and the World Cup with France, as a key player (that alone put him in the top 4 imo). Carvajal is a great player but doesn't have the intelligence of Thuram, nor the physical abilities. He mostly benefited from Madrid's Ultra Dominance.
Brother, the man has been the wall of protecting our team against the most dangerous and agile attackers in the world. There is also a significant reason why he is allowed to roam extremely free in this new style if Real Madrid. He is super all around. Sure maybe people wont be able to glamorize his “style”, like how people look at Ronaldo as “tap in merchant”, but Carvajal always got the job done like a boss, but he never got the highlights at all.
I like your list, I don't fully agree with everything which is completely normal but in general it's a good list. It's good to see someone rate Carvajal, I personally wouldn't put him in a sixth place position but definitely top 10 and very underrated indeed.
