Chevy Tahoe Yukon B0040 Fix Turn Off Air Bag Light

I didn't Feel like tearing apart the seat so I just bypassed the air bag with a 2.2 ohm 1/4 or 1/2 watt resistor color code red red gold gold. All other air bags will work and deploy when necessary.

How do you get the resistor to stay connected in the harness?

soldered the wires to the resister and used heat shrink to seal it all up

radio shack or ebay. or pull one from any junk electronics laying around, just look for the right color code.

DOESNT WORK …IT CUTS LIGHT OFF WHEN KEY ON BUT SOON AS YOU CRANK IT , IT COMES BACK ON
