It’s not working for my passenger seat on Honda 2012 exl. It still saying passenger airbag light on.
I never did any and I still have the light on so you need to make sure it connect right and the wires not broken or bad module

The resistor turned off the airbag light, but after around 6 months the light comes back, is there better solution to turn it off?
There must be a fault somewhere else

I need to disconnect the Airbag module for movie stunts, how or where on the module pigtail connector could I use this resistor trick to keep the airbag warning light on the dash from coming on?

Hello, how can i rest the airbag light after replacing the resistor in case don’t have computer to do it ?
It automatically reset when put the resistor
No need to disconnect negative and positive on the battery?
@Wasta91 if you want to but not necessary the light will go off immediately when connect the resistor to the faulty end

How can i find the faulty resistor meanwhile my car has 6 resistors?
It’s possible the faulty resistor give me 2.2 ohms?

Which side of the plug did you put the resistor my brother? On the car loom side?

@MrtalentedReid My car is a 2009 equinox, am my connecting the resistor to the two data lines
@chriscooper3294 resistor must go to the output side from the wire loom to the airbag
@MrtalentedReid Sorry to bother you just so I'm a 100% right? I have four wires going to a connector that was coming from my pps module
1. Orange wire: for power
2. Green wire: Going to rollover module
3. Green wire: data line going to main airbag module(sdm)
4. Black wire: for ground
So one end of my resistor is going in to 1 green and the other end of the resistor is going into the other green?
