Nice job Bryan.
Thanks man never painted a car be for three months ago now I paint 80%of the cars that come in the shop and learned most of what
I know from all your videos and all I can afford is a finex 3000 hope to get a good gun one day thanks again
Is the Gun you have a 1.3 tip or the 1.30XL
Brian what type of paint do use
Man I'm so glad I found you . I paint for a living and sometimes I ready to give it but then I watch your videos and it calms me down thank for the great tips and keep up the great work .
Don’t over think it....... it’s just paint !
EXCELLENT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO.
My grandson, 14, starts his 1st step in a real paint & body shop to learn the skills, tomorrow afternoon. He does computer schooling before lunch.
Your videos will be his homework at night. His car is a 1949 Packard. Our family has 25 cars & hearses built before 1950.
Your videos are a great "Learning Library"! Thank you very much.
Love to hear that!!
Heck Yea !! 😉👍
Painting is the easy part. Its the prep that's a killer..
You know!
How right you are, working on my 66 Chevelle after 9 months of getting the body prepped and almost done, the paint job is the easy part,
not for me its all a killer lmao
Painting is hard too takes lots of skill to get a nice finish
@@thespraysociety3276 Agreed. Did not intend to make it sound easy. It really is a skill that not a lot of people can master. A decent paint job can make or brake a restoration.
Especially metalics and a lot of pearl colors, very tricky to spray.
I bought this same 4600 last month and love it, it lays down the clear like glass and it's very well made I also just bought the Sagola mini extreme and it sprays like my Sata.
I'm never disappointed by these videos. Great job 👍
Hey Brian. Man I really I want to thank you for all the advice and videos. You've been really helpful. I look forward to all your videos.... And the motto that you use I've been using lately and it sure helps when you walk around that vehicle & say to yourself "don't overthink it, it's just paint."
Thanks so much. It sure does help!!!
Thanks for all the painting tips and the different gun reviews learned a lot that I hope to use soon in a 34 coupe and a 79 f150 project keep up the good work
Love the look of this gun, lays down so well and quick
Brian is one of the best in the industry, thanks for the awesome content , maybe one day Brian would sponsor someone like myself with some tester/ used guns laying around. Lol 😆 stay blessed bro
Hey! I've been watching your videos lately because I'm thinking about painting my hood. I'm not new to body work but never used a spray gun before, really looking forward to it after watching your videos. 💯👍🏾👍🏾😁
It helps to keep the internals clean. As well as the right air cap for the viscosity of the material. I used to go 6 months between break downs. Showed the other painters how to keep a gun clean after each use in less than 3 minutes. No sweat.
Wow! Amazing as Always, Brian! The Man!
Nice to see you again I have seen this gun in use several times and it's got a ver good review thank you for the video stay safe
Beautiful gun, it atomises great, thanks again for all your demo/spray gun videos there fantastic 👍🏻
Looks like it lays like it's supposed to, real good! Good gun, good results. Sagola, in the paint gun locker!
Brian, I just bought one of these guns 2 weeks ago, and I LOVE IT!
I have 2 sagola 4600's given to me by the last shop I worked for. Amazing guns and very simple to use.
How much r d sagolas?
1 awesome painter and instructor. Thanks buddy.

I'm starting as a painter out of necessity and your videos have served me a lot
50% overlap
I got to use this gun for a small job I did - I want it so bad! I did filler, sealer, base and clear with the same gun, loved it!
I love your videos...you’re a great inspiration 👌🏼
That's a beautiful spray gun!👍👍👍
Hey have to tell you a new trick I learned today at body shop ,take a scotch brite pad cut it to fit DA with a hook it style pad works great for .scuffing new body panels and works with small 2” DA!Thanks Brian for all the helpful videos.
Great job as always man!!
One of your best videos!!!
Keep the videos coming always enjoy. Thanks 👍
So relaxed the way you work and yet so fast. The first time i see one of your videos and i love it.
Welcome!
Just bought one through your link as well as the regulator and adapter. Was impressed how easily you cleaned it. Worse case scenario is that it winds up on ebay. Looks to spray real smooth.
Is there anything more satisfying than watching a clear coat glass out right out of the gun? I think not.
Correct
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 you’re the man. You’re the channel 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼
Just wanted to thank you for all the great advice. I only paint a few times a year, so your videos really help. Rock on brother.
Thank you!!
And what's the best clearcoat using thank you
Congratulations from Venezuela. Very good
Awesome tips Bryan!
Really enjoyed the blend area you did. Nice 🤙
Holy crap! That first coat of clear was heavy. I go way lighter. I guess that’s why I’m watching you. To learn! I really like the way you video. Makes me feel like I’m doing it myself. If I watch it enough times, it will make me confident and feel like I’ve done it before. Thanks
Do what works for you though brotha !
I’ve tried a lot of guns and keep going back to my loh400 with orange cap for base and clear. It just feels like a old friend.
Awesome video.. Very helpful thanks
Brian you are a beast! I'm learning the basics of paint, and have been watching your channel for a couple of months and learn something with every video. I'm working with very cheap and basic tools out of my garage on small projects, learning as I go. This channel has been a great help.
I have 3. 1 with HVLP cap, 1 with XLT cap, then a GTO. The best guns I’ve ever used. I also have Satas, and Iwatas.
Looks really good you make it look so easy
I’m an Iwata fanboy I love my LS400 and soon I’ll get the WS400, but I’ve seen beautiful results with these Sagolas, I have the 3300 GTO Tech , and my next clear coat gun , even before the Iwata, is going to be the 4600 Extreme DVR 1.3 XL , I’m really loving these guns
I love that gun my brotha , the design the color and the performance , I would like to have one of these again .
Nice one Brian iv got that gun use it for clear love it. 👍🏻👊🏻

👀🤔You really did Really a nice job THANK YOU FOR YOUR video👍
He makes it look so easy lol.... great video 👍
It gets easier
Great video Brian! I'll be doing a review and demo on this gun soon. Excited to check out the performance.
It’s a great gun. Probably one of the best you’ll have!
awesome... My spray gun of choice, Only because its the only one ive got :P is my Devilbiss SLG-610.
Was cheap, Good brand, 1.3mm Conventional aircap, and suited for small compressors... Ive done sealer, Base and clears with it, and absolutely love it!
Its amazing for a £70 gun...
Ive resprayed my entire car, and my wheels, and many people have asked me where i got my car resprayed, because it looks so good..
My car was my first ever spray project, and it came out flawlessly... I was nervous painting metallic silver, because of the mottling etc you hear of. But honestly, for a £70 spray gun, It made my spray job literally look professional and done in a proper booth...
Well, my spray gun, and watching your channel...
(i build wooden frame around the car and wrapped it with clear cellophane as a booth :P )
Sounds like you’re having a plastic. I’ll have to try one of those out.
work shop envy!! when I paint I flick my wrist on the left to right strokes to really get a good blend
Great video. 💪🏼🇺🇸
Good job every time 👍
Hey bro great job! I have the sagola 4600 xtreme with 1.3xl and clear cap and love it really lays the product down nicely!
Great gun Mike!
@@PaintSociety what cap was you using I been looking at this one I do completes
Bro your commentary is so good u should have your own show on Motortrend network
Another great video, Brian. Gonna spend the weekend prepping and spraying a front bumper for my 2011 Suburban. My paint supplier switched from Nason to Dynacoat so we'll see how the new paint lays down. Pretty pumped to get back to some painting this weekend.
Waiting on some videos from you!!
@@PaintSociety Gonna do one on this bumper replacement. Should be a nice easy vid to shoot. Also going to cover a little DIY home spray booth, Been hangin plastic all afternoon!
Ok sounds awesome !!
Been thinking about buying one of those
Great content have subscribed to learn more.
Brian - again, my genuine and profuse thanks for such an excellent video. Nothing gets me excited as seeing the YT Notification that says Paint Society have uploaded a new video!!
Is there any chance you make a video showing how to paint pearlescent pigments (i.e. colourshift pearls mixed with intercoat) or metal flakes? I wanna try and attempt a custom paintjob and a full guide on painting using the primer > seal > basecoat > intercoat > clear method would be amazing!!
Thanks again Brian :)
Thanks for the comment. That’s a interesting request! Will look into it
Wow... wish I had the compressor for this gun. Great job man. Let's see how long it lasts before we start seeing uneven sprays/patterns.
Wowww🤔🤔Verry Profesional 👌😉👍
Great job very nice
Man you make it look easy
Awesome work Boss
Thank you so much 😀
First time watching yours's or any channel having to do with spray painting. Having made my living for approx. 25 yr's plus doing it mostly automotive, (Bink's Model 7, was king of the day's) but did for 5 yr's, (year's @ Boeing Aircraft, 1986 -1991) I did paint little airplanes, like 747"s 767's & 737's. Should be noted this time period is also approx. when base coat - clear coat was just coming on strong. A little trick you may want to do. @ 1:47 of your video, pop-off / take apart that fluid needle, and put some Vaseline Petroleum Jelly (just enough to put an even coating on the fluid needle) stay back front the front of the needle approx. 1/2" in. Or in the area, that makes up the "mixing chamber," make sure your coating of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly is very thin. This will "AID" in clean up's, plus save on your wrist(s) against carpal tunnel syndrome. Don't ask how I know about this. P.S. The 4 hole(s) (each side, for a total of 8 holes) on that trigger, aren't there to look pretty. They were put into the design to lessen the weight your wrist has to pull on / against. As smooth as that new gun Fluid needle was sliding through the "Gun Packing / Fluid Seal," with the Vaseline, it will be smoother. For those working in close in conditions (think spray painting the inside of a Automotive Van, but with the door's CLOSED) you may want to spray the outside of your spray-gun's with a coating of WD-40,. Purpose of spraying the outside of a spray gun with a coating of WD-40 is to AID in clean up. Could also use something like "Boeshield T-9 Protectant and Lubricant." Yes, the "BOE" in Boeshield is for Boeing Aircraft. Also could use " LPS 2." "LPS = Liquid Petroleum Spray." The company "LPS," has a LPS-1 (one) {similar to WD-40,} a LPS-2 (two) think a very thinned out Vaseline, (we would use this on the outside of our spray guns) they also have LPS-3 (three) think spray Vaseline, i.e. very thick coating.
FYI: Boeshield came about only because LPS-Company which use to be a "supplier" to Boeing, and started charging through the roof prices for their product's, killed the goose that was laying the golden eggs. Say hello to Boeshield.
Awesome tips. Thanks so much for commenting on my channel
I ended up here cuz am lookin for a real professional gun without ending up paying for a car downpayment !! Nyway i like ur explanation better than the Gunman . And you can connect with the diys out there . I will subscribe and keep it up dude..
it looks fantabuolous
Its just a dream gun buddy👌👌👌
thanks for video
Well done
good call on that splotchy area. if you go back to 9:20 you see the missed spot on 1st coat. great gun review nice quality. really miss spraying
Most likely. I don’t worry about full coverage too much on the first coat.
Brian once again another great video, do you ad a flex additive to your sealer and or base for the bumper
fabuloso excelente trabajo
Plus 1 for 3m stuff. I only used their Super Duty Rubbing Compound and Perfect It III polish for things I did. They're a bit steep in price but well worth it for the results.
Try CSI Ceram-x polish ! I won't go back to 3m
Hi nice to meet you ,I like to blend the same way too,ty
Love the content. I have a question for you? What would you suggest is the best spray for undercoating your car or truck?
Painting is an art! The right equipment can apply a product . I think it's all in the eye . You should know your equip. and prod. thoroughly but the application can only come from experience. Like all experience comes a lot of practice. Before tackling a car try several smaller projects applying the same techniques. Smaller mistakes are easier to fix than big ones. 👍
We agree!
I absolutely love your teaching and I love your shop and I was wondering if I could work for you
I'm gonna start painting because of you
Can you please do a video about spot repair/stone chip repair on tri-coat paint with rattle cans?
Another great video Brian but really at the end of the day it doesn't matter what gun you use you still get perfect results all the time but it does look like a real good gun
Some guns make it easier
Brian if i was as good as you i could use a paint brush and make it look a masterpiece
I've thought about getting a sagola but it reminds me of a pro lite and looks like it shoots lots of material like a sata...I like Iwata alot for clear and base
Nice.
I jus came out from work sorry I'm late, nice gun tho,✌️❤️
Got another spray gun today electric wanna try it praticing on a door part when paint it in future. Yattich paint sprayer it is 700 watt high powered hvlp spray gun 5 Copper nozzles and 3 patterns and easy to clean and for furniture, cabinets, fences, cars, bicycles, garden chairs and etc. But will use it for automotive painting but when it gets warmer in Michigan.
Man. That’s tough with those cold temps!!
Brian why does it take me so much paint to get full coverage on my base coat? You you covered the bumper super quick way more coverage then I get on the first pass. Using the AZ3 HTE2 HVLP 1.2 needle by Anest Iwata. Thx man for always getting back to us.
Thanks for all of your videos, Brian. I'm not a pro but I appreciate that you take the time to tell us nozzle sizes, pressures, flash times, and techniques.
Here's what I'd really love to see.... Doing a full job on that Honda project car with a home sized compressor and an LVLP gun. So far everything on that has been extreme low-end of how it can be done, and the results have been awesome, but how about something in the middle? Something where someone could invest a total of ~$750 on equipment and do a really nice home garage job.
Hi. I’ll need to invest in a 30 gallon compressor. That’s as small as a compressor as you can get for painting a couple panels
Another great video. I just got the 4600 extreme 1.3 DVR clear. Is the trophy gun same as the 4600 DVR clear gun
Possibly do a video on knowing how much paint to use?
