Our 4300 has been hammered for over five years and has never skipped a beat ,never needed any spares just bullet proof
Love the two 4600 I own... they spray incredibly clean.
Finding it becoming my go to gun... personally I like to base and clear with the same make and model gun.
I came from Painting machinery , Heavy Equipment and various Marine applications to the automotive industry has been a welcome change... pricey but welcome.
Thanks for all the videos , reviews and insights...I get a lot out of this.... Be well ; I’m going to paint some shit.
Hey Gunny, I work for a company in Brisbane (UAP) that makes public art for clients all over the world. I've been doing the painting there for the past four years or so by default after the painter left. We use Cromax products and at the moment I'm painting a giant 6m tall Jackalope (bunny with antlers) in satin black (not an easy task). (:
I discovered your videos a couple of weeks ago and they are what has finally got me excited about what I'm doing. Automotive painting truly is an artform and you are a great exponent of it. If you are ever in Brisbane look us up! I'll give you a tour. Ordered a 4600 today after watching this, it'll be waiting for me when I arrive at work tomorrow. (:
Top quality review thanks gunny
Great work gunny!! We like your professionalism.
Yep! The guy's a pro! -- Saludos!
Sagola son jeniales yo tengo la scrambler
Great vid mate and great finish as always. Looks like a great gun. Love the orange color. Thanks for the review mate.
you are just the bomb man spray that finish is awesome I think I found my new clear coat gun
Just picked one up for a new clear gun. I'm very impressed so far and it is VERY fast. Definitely needed to slow the fluid down to match my spraying speed. But the overall finish quality I have no complaints
Number 1 clear gun, that's impressive.
daaaammm!!! awesome job!!!
Have you used the evo cap on the sagola. If so what did you think.
I was thinking that it was like that . so lame . thanks your the man . ill let you know what i think about it anyway . love. What you do and respect real people like you. You have helped me alot thanks man . stay real ill paint some shit.
I just watched your vid on the flow of different cups, but for me the pps cups are much more user friendly. Throwing the liners out makes a huge time saver in cleaning and not having to fool around with those stupid drop in filters lol.
Hi. Any suggestions how to get best results with the dvr hvlp air cap.
ty one dagola off my xmas list ty you saved me money
great work sir i.am starting to spray paint work
I just bought a Tekna Pro Lite and like it. I may have to check out this gun.
Both great guns.
Hello . How to prevent water during paint with a gun I was annoyed where I am a beginner in paint please help
amo seu trabalho
Could I use this for Base Coat as well as Clear? I’m just starting to paint and I only paint something 3-4 a year.
I'm looking for a good gun to do thinned lacquer on wooden tables, would you recommend a certain gun around 250-350 for doing that? I've been looking at the Devilbiss finishline 4.
Sir i just want to ask
where can i buy that thing ?
How would this gun do with clearing motorcycle parts?
Hi gunman i have the pistol 4600 1.3xl what varnish is ,you add solvent so that It is so fine thanks gunman
Can you do a review on the iwata supernova LS400, and the air gunsa az3Hv2.
muy buena la pistola amigo yo tengo una scrambler y dejan un terminado muy bueno
where can i get one? i have only seen the 4500 on ebay.
Hi gunman great work as always I want to purchase the 4600 hvlp for base and the Dvr clear is spraygunsdirectuk a reliable website to by from ?and would you recommend this gun for me as a prep guy who is trying to step up to painter and also do you know we're I can buy that red razor you use to cut the plastic thanks
The gunman ☝️
Will a 3hp 100Liter 14.2cfm air compressor handle this gun?
nice job
Very beautiful
Wow great
Has anyone managed to adapt their Sagola to Devilbiss? I have yet to find a proper adapter.
Hello my friend I do not speak English I wrote you through a translator I wanted to ask you if it is worth buying a sagola 4600 with clear dv peak or a devilbis gti pro I paint in warm weather without changing that mouthpiece you recommend me for the devilbiss thanks
great videos. greatly appreciated. can a guy squirt lacquer based woodworking finish thru it?
Nice gun 🔫 👌👍
I see you guys use the sata cups!! Good choice!! Just one thing can't seem to find adapters for some of my guns!
hace una semana me compre la sagola 4.600 y está genial la recomiendo
Felicidades por su compra!
Que tal ha salido?
Sirve para aplicar pinturas también o sólo el transparente?? Clear
Awesome gun! Been thinking about getting one for myself, I’ve been using the Iwata lph400 for clear for the past couple of years I think it’s time for a new gun🤧
Hi Gunman, I currently have a Devilbiss Finishline 4 (flg-670). It is a nice gun but I want something with a wider fan for spraying pearls without getting stripes due to having to make many overlaps for coverage. This Sagola 4600 looks very good, but the Techna Pro-Lite seems like a better deal, more versatility. Which would you upgrade to from the FL4 for DIY'er need to spray anything from high solids primer to SS to bc/cc and pearl or metal flake?
I've now made my FLG4 a primer gun with the 1.8 fluid tip. The Pro lite is quite versatile for me with 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 tips and different air caps. That Sagola looks like a monster- Gunny only had it two turns out, too!
First paint gun 👌👌👌
great vid as always.
have been curious about these Sagolas for quite some time. look like a really good quality gun.
you mentioned fan size and from watching your videos for quite some time now, it might be me, but the fan on this gun looks to be a bit smaller than when you clear with your Prolite.
Either way, it lays a nice finish!
Cheers
Here in Brazil the Walcom line (they are the biggest players here when it comes to high performance guns) is an unanimous choice when it comes to price/performance, but one of the guys who i worked with claims that this Sagola Xtreme is better than Walcom in regards to finishes, i would love to test this one someday, the DeVilbiss DV1 is also making a name around here.
great info always a must subscribe paint channel
What’s the difference between 1.3 and 1.3xl?
Perfect glossy and flat finish!
What kind of clear coat?
It was Duxone Plus
How does this gun compare to SATA 5000RP for clear in a production environment? Any opinions from owners of both, I currently use the 5000 RP but was thinking of trying the Sagola
I like the Sagola better than the 5k
Will be getting one as soon as they hit the market. Will Spray guns direct be a distributer of them?
Yes they said they should have them January.
That thing is a hose monster!!!
Sure is, that's why I love it. I went back to my Pro lite and it felt slow.
The Gunman Hey Brother which gun puts out the least overspray and the ability spray at slightly lower pressures? Do my side work in my garage so I have to keep the pressure about 20 psi not to fill the place with too much over spray in the air. right now I'm using an older Devilbiss tekna with 7E7 air cap...
Hey gunny did you know you're video review on the wet wet clear got sponsored on the wet wet website!?
No I didn't, I'll have a look at it, thanks for telling me.
Hi gunman, have you used harbour freight spray guns.?
he hasnt dont the spectrum and black widow yet!
I think im pretty sure im going to get a sagolla for doing my clear . but im going to check out the 909 clear air cap part no. 702724 for my teckna . im thinking if you used it must not be good or it would have made it in one of your reviews. If not hope you get to do review on one soon .
+Ken Rinck the reason why is they have different air caps in the USA, I'm pretty sure that cap is off the tekna copper and we don't get that model here in Australia.
Say, what is the XL designation on the 1.3XL tip? Is that a Sagola thing or something industry standard that I just haven't run across. What's the diff between the 1.3 and the 1.3XL tips? By the way I picked up one of those ANI RP/1 gun regulators based on your recommendation. Shipping to the USA is a bit much, but I look forward to using it for the first time with my good clear gun around New Years. =)
Hank Scott good question I also wanted to know. I think it's like the sata sr "spot repair "
Hank Scott good question I also wanted to know. I think it's like the sata sr "spot repair "
@Hank Scott
"XL" means high fluid flow rate of the same tip. The nozzle are designed for high flow.
This is mainly for clears used in repair shops, where speed matters. Iwata's WS400 series has the "HD" nozzles which are the high fluid flow nozzles. ANI has the same set up too. An ANI F150 HPS uses 1.3 and 1.3-C nozzles (1,3-C AH1411151). The C designation is for high fluid flow.
i got one and using for almost 2 years its amazing performance in my opinion, any way i work at united motors company of dodge, Chrysler, jeep, fiat, and all types of high end cars..
Is it worth buying one have you used the gti pro lite ?
@@juventusDV9 it is a lot faster spraying than the pro lite. Better finish. I have both guns
@@jeremyoetken2094 can it spray sewer basecoat and clear
@@Rboling4199 absolutely, I have hvlp for base, and dvr clear, titania pro for clear
@@Rboling4199 Titania air cap is for waterborne basecoats
Gunman does this gun material saving
Hey gunny... I want to know what is your favorite clearcoat? I use RM products.
Quartz liquid glass clear or anything that's really expensive haha
@@TheGunmanChannel would you say Quartz is better than Standox ?
SAGOLA,iwata nr.1
I think devilbiss is feeling the heat and are working on a new gun 😂
I have heard they actually had a few reasons they don't like Sagola, a court case they ended up winning or something. If I truly was a DeVilbiss commercial as some say, then I wouldn't speak as highly of the new Sagola as I do. I just tells it like I sees it ;-)
Hello! I searched through the entire Internet, I can not find the gun on the market. Where did you get it? I want to buy.
Sagola gave me and a few others an early release, they should be available in January 2017.
Thank you!
Красит вообще как бог! Уважаю)
what do u thinks shoots clear better the sagola 4600 or a dv1 base coat gun I know it's for base but just curious
I have both guns, the sagola is much faster and a fantastic finish. The dv1 base gun is slow but lays a fantastic finish as well
@@jeremyoetken2094 good to know I want a dedicated clear gun idk if I want a 4600 or a ws400 have you used both?
Yes I have iwata ws 400. Also a good gun. I prefer the Sagola 4600 because it has more control and less likely to get runs. Also the Iwata has a gigantic fan pattern that you have to narrow for it to spray right. They are both very fast guns. Both have great finish quality but I think the Sagola is better
A cheap gun can do the same as a expensive gun , thus it all about vacuum , pressure , paint flow , direction or degrees of you jet or fan jets also the amount of regulated pressure going through the hose as well as the length can influence the flow at the gun , all science though , i use a digital pressure gauge purchase from Supercheap auto , well done i enjoy watching u as you know what you talking about. :-) How but make a video about expensive verses cheap guns on my experience above , cheers keep them videos coming
+danssv8 I'm planning on doing exactly that in the near future.
Haha, a lot of people would like to see anybody get that purple harbor gun spraying like a supernova!🌬💦☔️
👌
So this Sagola is your favorite gun for clear now? Wow. Definitely going to have to order one for myself shortly. Looks great gunny!
Feel so confused....is it so great fit for number one? Let check it up)
Blimey, don't things change, when I was a lad (back when Dinosaurs roamed the earth) the only Sagola spray guns you'd ever see were the Devilbiss JG suction feed knock-offs that the apprentice was given as his first gun (nearly all the parts from the Devilbiss JG and the Sagola knock-off JG were interchangable).
So I'm on the fence...lol
Sagola or lp400 silver cap for the flattest finish and why?
It's been way too long since I used the LPH so I would definitely say Sagola with the Titania cap in 1.2
@@TheGunmanChannel thanks for reply. and that long huh? sagola must be something special lol. I shall definitely consider your words.
@@TheGunmanChannel I have a question is the trophy truck the same gun as the 4600 XL without the fancy paint job on it?
Good morning Gunny, I noticed the metal containers setting on your paint bench, they have a lip on them to pour paint out of. Any information on them, and where can I get a set of these? Thanks
I got it from my local paint supplier, he did me a good deal $50 for the 4. I'd say most auto paint suppliers would stock something similar.
you r the one ,, i like u Buddy :)
I'm pretty sure he's heterosexual, so you're out of luck!
Eu quero uma
👍👍👍
I'm sorry how much the price of that Sagola is
Tôi muốn mua cái bét phun sơn đó dạ
Sagola 4600 Xtreme or Devilbiss Gti Pro Lite?
Hard call, both are great guns.
The Gunman need a recommendation! 30 yr painter in Annapolis, Maryland. Do my side work in my garage , which clear gun would you recommend for the best finish with the least amount of overspray... that sprays the best at lower pressure.?
Hey thank you nucleansupply!
Hi gunman i have the pistol 4600 1.3 XL what varnish is,you add solvent so that It is so fine thanks gunman
What brand regulator is on this gun? Thanks!
it's Sagola reg.
Thanks!
speedy gonzales!!!!!!!!
Gunman ,,,, Are you confident in this gun enough to spray a Full catalyzed Candy thru it ??? I ordered the Tekna Prolite due to its multiple air cap features & wanting to see if I like the 1.2 tip for spraying House of Kolor UKs / even Koncentrates in a Clear Intercoat/Blender like PPG dbc500........ I loved my Iwata LPH400's for spraying Candies but unfortunately they were stolen...
Yes I have confidence in this gun and would be surprised if you weren't impressed, the 4600 air caps are also interchangeable like the DeVilbiss, I use the Aqua cap for base but I have used it for clear and the clear cap for base, they do spray fine but my preference is the recommended caps for their purpose.
That's good to hear... I just noticed that the GTI prolite has an Air valve adjustment as the Tekna Prolite does not..... I like that having that control so ,,, Looks like I will be getting a GTI prolite too in the near future.!!! haha....
This Sagola looks like it handles clear pretty well... I try to find different guns for each use in my field of custom paint... I prefer to have separate guns for each Solids/Metallics/Candy/Clears .. Thanks for the videos
ThistleDewOutdoors what's your metallic gun?
I honestly have multiple guns... One of the best Silver light gold metallic guns that I have is a $120 Sharpe Finex 1.3.... I cant believe how well it does..!!! I learned how to master the Iwata LPH400s for metallic although they are tricky.... I also have a Sharpe titanium that I use for metallic that seems to work well for me..... The Sata line is a decent metallic gun but I don't like them personally.....
Φιλε μου Gunman ποιο ειναι πιο ακριβο οπλο το pro lite η το Sagola 4600 . το pro lite στην Ελλαδα κοστιζει 270 euro , ποσο κοστιζει στην Αυστραλια.
I've learn from my mistake and it coast me alot $$$ that when you put to much clear, it makes some white stains, i thought that clear is only clear, even if i waited 15 mins between each coats ... and also i think my Devilbiss EGA 503 gun was outdated...
Frank Beaulieu the white stains is solvent pop because you layed on top heavy or too slow and the solvents couldn't gas out . The white you are seeing is micro bubbles
yea man thanks, 1st on a black hood, i've put 3 layers of clear (15-20mins between each..) with my 1.8 nozzle, equivalent of 1L on the hood... made that same mistake 3 times... couldn't find where my problem was, in my head i thought that clear was only clear , even when the basecoat was fully dry, i thought putting enough clear was the solution to stone chips... loll now i know, 2 layers is enough, just adding a ''rubbery'' agent when mixing the clear was fine enough.... haha thanks !
15 to 20 minutes is a bit long. however spraying out of a 1.8 is extremely large . also the brand of clear may have a large effect . most high solid clears do not solvent pop easily while ive found low to medium solids do
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
First!
aqui no brasil e muito caro essas pistolas
hei Gun,
what is the colour name please?
thanks
I forgot to check sorry. We use a camera and it takes photos so I never really look at the colour codes unless I need to plus I do paint a lot of cars.
Dvr clear 1.3xl
you are an absolute fucking boss
Would this be a good gun for a beginner?
Maybe not the best setup, I'd go a smaller tip size, this is the 1.3XL and is very fast so maybe 1.2 or 1.3 depending on if you have a booth to paint in or not.
I can point you in the right direction if you give me a bit more info on what you're looking at painting, where you'll be painting, what paint you plan on using and your budget.
***** For that price I may as well just buy one.
I know you have some Tekna's, but you should try to get your hands on the new Tekna Ultimate Basecoat gun. I just ordered on last week and im hoping its a nice gun. I heard is sprays slow, but that is fine with me. Should be a good marriage to the lph400
Chris I would like to get one, do they specify if it's more aimed at water or solvent or is it just meant for both.
gunman por favor como eu posso esta comprando uma dessas para q vc me mande sou seu fã gostaria muito de te conhecer vc é profissional me responde por favor.

Hello my friends, how are you? My name is sergio varela i am from santiago de chile And I would love if your videos had subtitles in Spanish so to understand what you are indicating in your videos
I would really like my videos to be translated, they want to charge about $15-$40 per video. I have an idea where I could start a Patreon page where people could contribute to the translations.
Sprays good but a bit over pricey that’s just my comment
Peace of shit gun ..
