      Im really pleased you found the tutorial helpful. I have never been a teacher i am actually trained as a Graphic Designer to degree level but ended up with a cake decorating business. I will be back next Sunday at 7pm with a NEW Tutorial. Thank you for the feedback

    Ive done a few cakes with pearls on them but even with tweezers it was a long process. Ive seen that tool a few times on different websites but 1st time ive seen it used, another thing to go on my wish list as with having fibro some days my fingers dont work to good. Another very pretty cake Rachel and explained it so well xx Ive just put in a request to join the groups on your facebook page better late than never lol ;-)

      This is a MUST HAVE Helen x I cant believe you used tweezers OMG i am way too clumsy lol they would end up everywhere other than the cake. Thats why this tool is so for me lol Easy to use but it also has a lid on the top so even if you drop your DK your pearls stay in there lol xxx

    Thank you for the tutorial, it's inspiring to the point that I'll be attempting this design this week 🙈 but on a slightly bigger cake, I can't lie, I am a bit excited about it, to be honest 🙊. However, my question is do you think I would need more than 100g each of the silver and pearl dragees to cover a 12" cake?

      I made this tutorial such a long time ago I genuinely can't remember how much I used.
      All I would maybe suggest is to have more than you think you need, it's so frustrating when we are half way through a project and run out.
      Thankyou so much as well for your lovely comments and words, it means an awful lot, more so now than ever. Warmest wishes Rachel x

    your voice makes me feel that I can make beautiful cakes like the one in the video, one question, would this work well for cakes that are covered in buttercream frosting, most of my customers like buttercream vs fondant?

    • @RachelsEnchantingCakes
      @RachelsEnchantingCakes  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you for your lovely kind comment it means alot. To answer your question, it would work BETTER on buttercream just because with fondant it starts to set so you have to work a bit faster. Buttercream is also a natural glue so yeah go for it x
