Surface Laptop Studio 2 will be announced this month with i7 13th gen CPU and RTX 4060 and up to 64GB of ram
hopefully 16GB ram variant is not crazy expensive or else i will go thr current one or Asus Flow X16

@@granthinds So am I, but most recent leaks suggest an eye watering european price of about 3.700€ for the top spec´d variant (64gb RAM, 2TB, RTX 4060). For about 2.500€ you get a considerably more powerful gaming laptop with 13980Hx CPU, RTX 4070, and 32GB Ram (expandable for a couple hundred € to 64 or even 96GB). Combined with a Wacom Cintiq 16 or 16 Pro (which can be bought used for about 500-600€), the gaming laptop set up provides more power and Wacom EMR pen tech.
I’m in the same boat.. I really want to try the SLS, but also considering RoG Flow X16… honestly thinking of just going with the RoG… too many weak reviews on this laptop…
@@timtot1990 Price wise it´s even worse than anticipated: 3.800€ for the 64GB Ram/1TB variant, and for the 2tb variant the price exceeds 4.000€.
I had the XFlow 16 and after owning Asus, Alienware, MSI, Razer, I have to say that the XFlow was in my top 3 laptops. The screen is one of the best I've ever seen. Overall build quality was great and I got one with the non mini led screen and 3060 for $900 open box at Best buy. It's probably going for much cheaper now.
I just got my SLS1 about a month ago because I was looking for a laptop replacement that I could also draw on. With full featured creative apps! There is nothing like it. If only there was a Macbook that could fold into a drawing tablet and still run macos

Was wondering where the pricing was, ouch, thats pretty much macbook pro pricing. Tablet mode is nice, my Lenovo Stinkpad does that too, but minus the GFX, which can make photo and video work tough. MY main gripe here is, why shoes on the couch?

I own Apple phone but Apple will never give u an all in 1 . U buy an iPad for the touch screen . U buy a macbook for work . Still there is another problem, you can’t use a lot of industry CAD programs like jewelcad for Jewelry , 3D studio max etc for interior design . What’s worse ? You can’t get pirated software on IOS … haha . Windows still better .
The new top spec SLS2... is just shy of $6000 AUD. Been using SLS, 2tb version for the last 2 years, best laptop ever!.. Also I don't use the slim pen and prefer the older model pen..... Also to my surprise, it plays starfield (low settings) and doesn't melt the gpu 😅
Hi ! I saw a picture of Zbrush at 1:17 ! I was wondering, did you try to make Zbrush run on the Laptop studio ?

I literly get 2 hours tops when using SLS. Its not long battery life.
Strange . I get 12hrs on battery saver Mode and surfing net .
It’s only when I m doing RUclips I get lesser on battery saver . If I turned it up to best performance mode and use CAD programs and RUclips , that kicks in my GPU and now I get 4hrs . Your 2 hrs might be you gaming on best performance mode .
@@davidwong7283 thanks my biggest thing about me moving to the Mac is that. People tell me they are getting great and long battery life doing Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. .

This thing pales in comparison to their Surface Book series and they canceled that.
Really ? Isn’t that like a surface pro 9 ? Bigger screen ? More destacheable and lighter ? Maybe you got a point but Probli surface book doesn’t have such a big screen ? And not so powerful specs ?
Windows is not really a tablet OS. So thats why they dont make mobile apps for PC.
