currently I am looking for sleeves for my yoga slim 7 and general accessories! I bought already a usb hub 5-in-1 from Anker but I would like you to make a video with laptop accessories and sleeves for 14 inch laptops :)
A lot of the newer usb hubs for the laptop external devices have input outlet which i got scared it will cause overheat or bad charging input for my laptop. Also there are so many brands in Amazon I didn't know which one to trust and I went with a popular brand and a basic hub to be safe, so this is an interesting research right there!! :) Keep up the good job, you helped me with my laptop purchase already :)
I would prefer a 14 inch regardless of it being more portable for travel or not becaue the numerical keypad on the 15.6 inch laptop forces me to shif to the left when I am typing ( a lot). Often I would enter the wrong letter, very annoying to me. It is imposible I think to buy a 15.6 in laptop without the numerical keypad unless you want an Mac laptop. But in the end, I bought the 15.6 with full HD because I process a lot of photos. But, next laptop, 14 in is for me.

Hi everyone! Any recommendations to me? Sometimes I do use softwares such as QGIS or IBM SPSS which is data analysis, but that is rare. Also dont want to always carry the heavy charger, so USB-C charging would be great. I do not game at all or edit any videos or pictures. I want my laptop to one that has a smooth experience.
Those are two very different questions. For portability obviously a smaller size. For programming a bigger size with more screen and a numerical keyboard.

There are a few more things to consider! You get a full size sd card reader in the 15" versions. However I'm not sure about USB-C charging. I think it's maybe not there in the 15 inch? Thnx, I only wanted to see the different between the two sises. Now I am sure that I want the 15,6 inche laptop! At this moment I do have the 14 inche.
Great to be able to help! :)
Today an 14 Inch is nearly big as a 15,4 inch back than laptop had widescreen 15.4 now they have 15.6 I Recommend today an 14 inch is a perfect Balance for Normal Use and Portable nice size 😘
Thanks for sharing!
Well explained , thanks mate ✊
I'm glad you like it! :)
Hey, thanks for making me decide that I need to go for 15inch laptop since I won't be using any external monitor with the laptop. But can you please recommend some of the best 15 inch laptops?
Requirements: Casual usage and light gaming like CS:GO
Also, I'm from India and there is no lenovo yoga slim 7 in 15inch.
@John Michaels how about hp omen or lenovo legion 5?
@John Michaels yes I agree.
But Envy 15 is too costly in India. More than 1lakh INR.
Whereas Legion 5 with Ryzen 5 can be bought for 70k INR, Omen is slightly costlier but less than Envy 15.
@John Michaels yes I'm going to take AMD processor. But which laptop must be preferred?
@John Michaels dell 7415 is in 14 inch.
Also I got to know that there is only 250nits variant available in legion 5. Should I still pick that over omen 15?
Really helpful. Thanks!
Thank you very much for such a straight to the point video with so much information. You gained a subscriber and a like! Brazilian here
I'm interested in comparing screen *height* between 15.6" 16:9 display and 14" 16 : 10 display. And I can't find it.
I will soon make that video. :P it's pretty high in my backlog! Comparing 16:9 to 16:10 and 3:2
@@w2best Thank you. And for the moment I found this:
www.displaywars.com/15,6-inch-16x9-vs-14-inch-16x10
But, anyway, I will still 100% buy a laptop with a 15.6 " screen (Lenovo ThinkPad T15 Gen 2), since for me a numeric keypad is absolutely mandatory (the solution from ASUS categorically does not suit me).
@@Oleg__ hi, can i ask why Asus numpad not an option for u? I still looking for a laptop, and I also need numpad, but also need good battery life and light weight laptop, somehow many 15" laptop weight around 1.7-2kg, it is heavy if I hold it in one hand
Ofc bigger screen better, but I don't like heavy laptop, but I need numpad, so my first choice Asus, what's your opinion about this?
@@rafailjosef7693 Hi, because the aforementioned ASUS model has a numpad implemented in the form of a screen in place of the touchpad, which is unacceptable to me, and most of the software that is tied to working with the numpad will probably be interpreted incorrectly by such a touchpad. And for me it is important correct position of a touchpad, on the right, the buttons are full-fledged, physical. And another important nuance: a numpad should not be truncated, consisting of three columns (789). Previously, these were constantly used by the same ASUS and Acer. A classic full-fledged numpad should have four columns (789+).
@@Oleg__ ok, thank you, but I just notice, laptop nowadays so small, my old 13,3 inch laptop almost have same build with 15 inch laptop (spectre x15)
Wow, i think I need look more for 15" laptop with numpad but more lightweight and good battery life
Great video 👍
Very helpful use case comparing 14 and 15". I’ve been wondering for many weeks what to buy in terms of size. Getting gradually closer to deciding.
It would be useful if you could review the touch screen functionality. Is it a must, really useful ...
I would also be interested to know what you think of the The 2 in 1 or 360° laptops, pros and cons.
Thx
I added making that kind of comparison video to my back log! Thanks for the input! :)
if only dell did not have that long ass bottom bar with their logo
cant decide between 15,6 inch and 14 inch lenovo ideapad flex 5 , i wil use it mostly to draw but 100$ difference in price is it worth for this 3 cm more
Great video thanks a lot.
Just the part on 'just watch if it doesnt have a webcam" i dont quite get .. could you could clarify
I'm talking about the Asus G14. It's very powerful but comes without a camera. Which is terrible for my use cases at least.
@@w2best oh ok i get it now.. Thanks again for the video..
I will be doing coding so is 14 inch laptop best
Wich is best for students 13 or 14 or 15 inch
Hello, I am a university student and I play Sims 4. I will use my laptop all day in university, i also like to have a big screen. Is 15 inch too big or perfect?
Is not so small right 14inch
I think it's a great size. Especially if you go 3:2 or 16:10 :)
@@w2best i am still confused to buy either 14 inch or 15.6 inch :( bcoz its will be my first laptop...
Then what did you buy?
@@awakened_deep What you buyed ??

bro sounds like he's speaking all english accents at once😂
An accomplishment i guess.
currently I am looking for sleeves for my yoga slim 7 and general accessories! I bought already a usb hub 5-in-1 from Anker but I would like you to make a video with laptop accessories and sleeves for 14 inch laptops :)
Interesting idea! I haven't been that much into accessible except chargers, but I'll add it to my backlog! Thanks!
Keep up the good job, you helped me with my laptop purchase already :)
15 inches is too big
That depends very much on what you want to use it for! :)
I want a 14" laptop (zenbook) but I worry about productivity. My main concern is the screen size. I have an external monitor but I want to be able to work on the go as well. That's why Im more likely to get a bigger laptop.
I would get 16 in that case!!
the two exact laptops im comparing lol
Which laptop is best hp 15s du3039tu or msi 14 from india plz replyy
Don't the power break when comparing, only good if you carrying around. Explain more about USB C charging and how you can interchange it.
I'm not sure I totally understand. Can you rephrase the question?
Ideas for vids
* Best value (Performance/Price) 13" laptop
* Lenovo YOGA 6 review
* Acer Swift 3 Air 3 review
Thanks for the suggestions! I'm keen to try another Intel 11th gen with 4266mhz ram to compare how that benchmarks against the one with 3200mhz. There's supposedly a really big difference!
@@w2best In that case, Yoga 9i or Yoga Slim 9i...
Seems like 14 is the perfect fit!
Thank you💐🙏
You're most welcome
It is a wonderful video! I am still confused. I want to buy a 14 inch laptop. Is the sceen relaxing for working for long hours ?
I think so! I'm using a 14 inch pretty much all the time. :)
@@w2best Thanks for replying. You mean a 14 inch laptop is good for working for long hours .
just had a very random and off topic thought, are your viewers mostly working adults,(30+),young adults(18+) or teenagers(14+).
Save option not shown in 14inch laptop
Conveniently ignoring the difference of that bottom bezel between the 2 laptops.
How do you mean ignore? What should i do about it? cut it away? :P
I have a question regarding the dell inspiron , is the screen washed out compared to the lenovo?
It's a bit less vibrant! The spec for brightness is the same - but the Yoga measures a bit brighter. Color reproduction is the same.
@@w2best thank you very much
Hi everyone! Any recommendations to me?
I'm a final year university student, need a new laptop for one more year of studying then I will enter the workforce and I want to continue using the same laptop then. I do tend to have about 3-4 windows open. My lenovo ideapad 15"6 is quite heavy and so I want a 14-inch laptop.
Bro for portability and programming which screen size is better ??
Those are two very different questions. For portability obviously a smaller size. For programming a bigger size with more screen and a numerical keyboard.
@@w2best Thank you bro
Hi brother i purchased a 14' lenovo laptop yesterday but im thinking maybe the screen is too small.... Im using it for cricut machine and some designing stuff and photoshop stuff.... Is 15 inch screen better for this ???
I think a 14" 16:10 is enough! 16:9 is a little small. Then 15" will be a big update.
What are your thoughts about the new thinkbooks gen2 (13.3 at 16:10 and 15 inch at 16:9) with amd versus ideapads with amd
I would say the thinkbook 13 and 14 look super interesting and I REALLY want to try one asap! :) I think they seem better then ideapad but thinkpad probably has better keyboard!
@@w2best thank you very much!
The larger the screen, the more battery consumption
BUT the bigger battery can fit :)
For coding which is better? Please tell 🥺🥺 I am going to buy laptop after two days
@@annuu24 If you code with Mac buy the MacBook Air 13.6 inch (base model). The screen is a little bit smaller but the battery is better. If you code with windows buy a lenovo ideapad 14 inch rysen 5 or 7. That's my choice.. Go to a computer store and compare pc or Mac before buying. Make your own choice look the screen size that you like and the battery.
What screen size do you think is suitable for advanced and intricate world-class-leading and innovative web browsing? A laptop that can stand through thick and thin parts of the weird side of RUclips and the darkest pages on Wikipedia?

I'm looking to buy a laptop for my Economics bachelor's, so I will use Excel a lot. I will also connect it with 2 external monitors when at home. Any suggestions?
I'm pretty sure I want 14 or 15.6 inch + a good resolution so I can see more rows in Excel when I don't have any external monitors connected.
Other than that, I appreciate a good built-in keyboard + trackpad.
Not really having a budget, maybe around 1450 USD MAX.
get the matebook 16, it has a 3 by 2 aspect ratio so you have more vertical space than any other 16 inch laptop in the size of a 15.6 nch laptop
Do you use 100% windows scaling on both laptop?
Yes i use 100% in both my 14 and 15 inch :)
@@w2best Gee Windoze 100% scaling on a fhd 14""display results in quite small characters no? Even smaller on a higher resolution display.
Sir can u try on acer swift 3 2021 variant with i5 11gen??
Wanted ryzen but Cuz Intel variant has better screen and 16gb ram given, but wanted to know about battery life
I have tried the swift 5 about a year ago so I don't think I will try swift 3 soon. My next model should be from MSI I think.
Sir, what do you think about laptop weight, that comfortable when holding with one hand? Maybe around 30-60 minutes?
Do you mean holing it AND using it? In that case I would only go for something around or lighter than 1kg, everything else will be very hard to handle...

I would like to have the lenovo slim 7 AMD with 15" but there is just a 14" version with AMD.
Would you recommend me, to go with the 14" AMD version or should I switch to the Lenovo ideapad 5 15" with AMD?
I just need a laptop for university/ office work and watching videos (youtube/ twitch).
I could imagine that the 14" is more comfortable because it's more compact.
There are a few more things to consider! You get a full size sd card reader in the 15" versions. However I'm not sure about USB-C charging. I think it's maybe not there in the 15 inch? At least the yoga comes with a lenovo specific charger in the box. Do you use the laptop as is or plug into an external monitor? Oh that's a hard choice to make - but maybe the Dell Inspiron 14/15 5000 could be worth a check? They both have 4500u and 4700u options.
@@w2best I use it, as it is, so without an external monitor.
At home I use a PC, so I would only use the laptop, when I need it at school or I go out.
@@w2best I think, I'll go with the 15" modell.
Do you think that the Lenovo Ideapad 5 Amd ryzen 4500u with 8GB RAM is good enough for normal office work (I saw it for $550).
