Probably the best simple description for drawing the driver. Thank you.
You're welcome!
Watched hundreds of videos and this was first time I have understood. This is a GREAT video, thank you.
You're very welcome, glad it was helpful!
This has become my favorite coach. Thanks.
Glad you enjoy it!
Great analogy!
I agree most average golfers need a more lofted driver ,I play a 14degree and a 12.5 driver works great
I will try your tips and thanks
Thank you for watching! Hope the tips have helped.
Very interesting. I love the idea of hitting with ball above my feet. I fight over the top real bad and have never heard this before.
Brilliant. Need to re-emphasise the club face facing target. Which I think you did say, not club face facing to 2 o'clock. Great instruction. Thank you. The ball above the feet what a great analogy.
simple explanation...thanks
Never had it explained like that. Interesting!
Glad it helped!
Brilliant concept of just thinking that you are playing a shot with an uphill lie. It definitely changes your perspective of the shot.
Thank you for watching! Glad you liked the concept.
Another great video. David, can you tell us what is growing on the sloping hillside in the background?
I try to have a driver stroke more like Scheffler....trying to come down more vertical...rather than pushing the club out too far.....and having greater horizontal movement. I think it increases having a straight shot...and minimizes the pull or slice....which so often result from the timing and degree of rotation.. Helps to be tall....but I always tell myself to come down from the inside...to impact that ball as straight as possible at impact. Basically a steeper arc in the shot. Really helps me with solid consistency. Means keeping legs more upright....so knee bend is minimal going into the backswing.
Crazy : it was exactly my swing thoughts today : as a good iron player, I should perhaps try to shallow my driver and boum here's your explanation on that matter - brilliant !
Thank you for watching!
@@TheResourcefulCoach was on the range yesterday and it works incredibly well - test live on the course tomorrow !
I will try this today. Thank you
Thank you for watching! Hope it helped!
@@TheResourcefulCoach yep bombed it thanks again 👍🏻
So...does left of path clubface equate to a slightly closed clubface as swing in to out?
Correct. The face is closed to the path of swing. The swing is in to out, to be exact the face is pointing 60% back to the target line. I hope that makes sense
