Thank you for the kind words Graham. As a kid, I used to make shelters in the woods so always had a keen interest in the outdoors from an early age. Before discovering the wild camping community on RUclips, I camped with a couple of friends including the Cheviot Yeti, I still have the old footage and might have uploaded a bit of in the past but its poor quality by today's standards. Once I started the channel, people like Dave's Wild Camping and Andy Wardle were a massive influence on me. I'm still learning, getting tips and inspired by others on RUclips. I got a comment from someone with ill health who wasn't able to get out anymore. Watching my videos, it felt like he was back out doing what he once loved to do. That moved and inspired me the most because you never know when your time is up. You can't beat a bit of stealth camping in the dunes but it can be a bit too close to walkers. Dogs sometimes come and have a sniff, occasionally slashing on your shelter. I am going to do a coastal camp eventually in the dunes using a desert basha, I reckon that would blend in well.
I remember growing up in the 70's and 80's before video games were a big thing and we used to go down the woods or on the edges of fields and just build shelters and cook on fires, just hanging out. I think some kids miss out on a bit of that these days. Interesting to hear who where your influences on youtube. I remember reading Dave Murphy's blog/ website for ideas on where to camp and kit reviews, getting the courage up to do it myself. It seemed to me that he was living the dream. The fact thay your videos help folk who can't get out as much anymore is very cool, a good thing to have achieved. Nice one. A desert basha be perfect for dune camping. ATB, Graham 👍👍
Looked a great camp Graham, I've never done a coastal camp looks like I'll have to get one in. Thanks for the mention, I just need to find my mojo now😂😂

Thank you very much. There’s less condensation I feel, given all the airflow but dew very much can build up. Last night was ok though, ATB, Graham 😂
Great trip out for you both. Best wishes on the next.
Thank you, not sure where future camps will be but figuring it out is a lot of the fun, Cheers, Graham 👍👍
