One of the best albums of the 90s

Definitely one of the most unique of the '90s. I feel that Burial's 'Untrue' was the succesor to that the following decade in '07

They’re just a band that doesn’t miss. They’ve played with a number of styles but they always come through. Saw them play this album in entirety in DC before Covid. 12th time I’ve seen them live and they never disappoint. A hugely important band.

They don't call it trip-hop for no reason, folks... It's music to take drugs to to listen to.... It's like audible vr... You just pop that molly and submit to the headspace and go for a ride through someone else's art. Drugs are not bad. Every single one of the most significant moments in my life have happened on some drug listening to some mindblowing album with someone else with the same facial expression as I had, we were mirrors for a brief moment, one with the creator. Of Mezzanine that is. PS: The main guy from Massive Attack that does the majority of the arrangements. synths, effects, production, and composition is the same person who is the composer for Alex Garland's Ex-Machina and my personal favorite ANNIHILATION!!!! The creepiest 7 note melody ever written... Gets under your skin like bollweevil larvae, y'all. Thank you for this reaction kind sir! You totally commit to the reaction experience! You have earned a new subscriber! :)

Most people are fairly sure now that Robert del Naja is the street artist BANKSY..
I saw Massive attack in Manchester some years ago (mint btw), and the was this massive, silent documentary on the big screen with the music.. remember thinkin this is BANKSY AF..
Mint band. Trip hop was my first musical love ❤️

This was a popular rumour, but it's been thoroughly refuted now I'm afraid.
