Do you have enough City Pop reviews to make a playlist? I know you heard Last Summer Whisper four years ago by the same artist.
This was such a good album.
It almost doesn't matter if you can understand him. It's the cadence, rhythm and delivery.Effin brilliant. One of my very favorite songs ever!
This song on the studio recording is in the musical key of C sharp. On this performance, it's in the key of E, which is 3 keys higher! I'm amazed that Ozzy was able to hit those notes.
Nice 👍🏽
I wish they gave you a video that wasn't ruined with motion stabilization, I think that's on the official Sabbath youtube. Idk why they did that it makes me wanna puke with the wobbling lol
Superb playing
Thanks bro. I've included several of her songs on previous lists and you have enjoyed them. This song is part of a soundtrack of the movie, "Broken Flowers," which I don't think is exactly a romance movie, but does have a bit of a romantic connection to it. That echoing flute in the background gives the song a haunting feel. Two years ago, you reacted to one of her songs titled, "The Get Along" and here's what you said about the vibe of the song, "I feel like I should have shades on, a Dobb hat, a black and white suite, smoking a cigarette in a dark corner making a shady deal." LOL!!! That is a classic description!
Don't make the mistake of sleepin on Aes!!!
Cool! 1978 was around the time I discovered Black Sabbath as an eleven year old. I bought a copy of Master of Reality from a discount bin for three or four bucks and then saved up for a copy of We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'n' Roll for twelve or thirteen bucks. "Snowblind" was the song before "N.I.B." on side four. That's a compilation album so all four sides were packed with choice tunage. I'm glad my parents didn't get too bent over the racket coming from the stereo in my room. Heh. I saw them in concert two years later, but Ronnie James Dio was fronting them by that point. It wasn't Ozzy Sabbath, so we were slightly disappointed, but Dio was way cool -- we sat right up front and he slapped our hands a dozen times over -- so in the end it didn't matter. Anybody else taking Ozzy's place would have had an even harder time of it. Funny how watching that clip all these decades later after watching old man Ozzy bumble his way around a TV show for a decade and the rest it turns out that Ozzy always mumbled a lot. Dio, RIP. Ozzy, Live Long and Prosper!
That was nice, if pensive. Reminds me a touch of Erykah Badu with a dash of Aaliyah.
This album is crazy fire yo. You ever heard it? Mannnnn. Love Monche.
Nah I never listen to it
That was the final tour with Ozzy and one of the few live performances from the Ozzy era to be filmed.
We going crazy to this lol the clubs and the radio already been playing the snippet version on the regular 😂
Epic performance from all 4 of them. Legends!
Great performance, loved it
Yesss he’s gonna have a good album
An anti-cocaine song fueled by cocaine, one of my favorite songs in their catalog. 🤘
Had to see what you're thoughts on this would be. Definitely nostalgia purposes only. Can you imagine this era now. With all of griselda, bsf, drumwork. Aftermath, dreamville,TDE PG lang, heaven
🔥🔥🔥
Big ups my dawg all love stlouis city #blactyler utube

jan van impe i'm obsessed by the Doors. So, thanks for your reactions during all those years.Keep on going !! But now i see that you do reactions on classical music, let me suggest pianosonata nr 5 and 6 from the Russian composer Alexander Scriabin !!
Nothin like the Vietnam War protest songs for righteous anger. Freaks united! Not giving in an inch! Also: I have been on your hair journey with you since 2018, and I do love this current look. 😊
Thanks
For those last 3 fronts I sent you the other day. I got you this friday. Everybdoy killed it
A great song.
Ozzie!!!! Bill Ward!!!!
All 🔥 i love the way Mos sounds like a bouncy ball in a small room, when he spits. Mint little lick this 🔥🔥

IF you think this version is FIRE, check out the extended version that appeared on the CSNY Box Set many years back. EXTRA FIRE! ruclips.net/video/FK3TIYG9mqM/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Awesome.
I thought the title of this song is about (not) joining the army.
It is
Great song I’ve listened to time and time again

Gone too damn soon...but with a voice like that it does numbers to the heart and he was so small in stature....rest well my king😢😢😢🎉
Greetings from Canada. That's how you put together and perform a beautiful, soulful work of art. So he's not just another grumpy Ulsterman (might have been his ex- wife called him that). Peace, love and bellbottoms.
There aren't many songs that throw this many flourishes and combinations at you any more. Great stuff.
Great selection from a great San Francisco band who was at their peak in the 70’s. Haven’t heard this gem in quite awhile.
Sweet! David Crosby in his prime. The hippie code speak does a lot of work in the lyrics of this song. He wears his hair long in protest to the Vietnam War. His long hair is his "freak flag", a sign of membership in the counter-culture. He feels a debt to the draftees who went to war when he did not. So he bears the burden of protesting the war as well as he can and that means keeping his hair long even when it's an inconvenience. The flu he had for Christmas may not have been an actual cold but code speak for an anti-draft protest in which thousands of men opposed to the war called in sick to the draft board when their turn came around. He feels some paranoia that he might get arrested for the protest. And the cops went after rock stars for drugs quite a lot back then. Low hanging fruit and all that. But he won't give into fear. He's gonna find a happy place where he can laugh and tell right from wrong because he feels the debt to do so. "Helpless" follows on the album, another classic from side one of a classic album. PS. If you've ever seen the Kubrick film Full Metal Jacket, there is a reason why the opening scene of the film shows the draftees all getting their hair shorn in preparation for boot camp. If not, sorry about the spoiler, but all that happens in the first few minutes of the film, and not unexpected given the situation depicted. PPS. Also check out Jimi Hendrix "If 6 Was 9" from Axis Bold As Love. There's a spoken word passage in the studio version that "Almost Cut My Hair" might be taken as a response to.
Taking one of the highlights of the old Buffalo Springfield, the Young-Stills interplay, and carrying it to the next level.
Dope track
The chemistry between Stephen Stills and Neil Young is unbeatable.
Beat is 🔥 knew you would fuck with this. Real transylvania/Dracula vibes with this beat, and a nickname coscu goes by
Fun fact: Joan Jett's favorite band. She often shows up at their live shows and sings/screams all the songs from behind the curtain at the side of the stage. I can hear it...if the lead was a woman, this would be perfect Riot Grrl music.
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 classic you hear the prision calls. Real street dudes supporting coscu. This song was still connected with the nengo flow cosculluela beef. This came out after the disses on coscus album. It's called dividind bandits, because that beef divided some things.
One of my favorite bands. At one point, discouraged with Concrete's progress, Johnette got together with Holly Vincent from Holly & The Italians and recorded several jam sessions. The tapes were so good, a smaller record label released it on CD, called "Vowel Movement". It is marvelous. She also had a one-off side band called Pretty & Twisted, resulting in one terrific, moody album that should have been a huge seller but wasn't.
Another nice surprise! The hard-to-locate music video was also quite good--MTV showed it on their 1am show "120 Minutes'...once.
I check up on you once in a while--and occasionally you do surprise me! Love this song and this reaction. A+
Cool appreciate it
