I love seeing you tackle simple and achievable tabletop armies. Not jaw dropping golden demon models or single space marines to such a high standard you think “yea go on spend another 200 hours on the other 9 men in that squad”. So thanks dude its an absolute breath of fresh air for content ❤
Hahahaha yes exactly! I don’t think any of those guys have armies to play with, even though their work is stunning, they’re just in a different part of the hobby than army painters! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
Middle Earth Monday lets goooo. I'm glad you're giving yourself a break and painting something relaxing and quick. That quick win sounds like a great way to start the week!
You do such an amazing job doing things that are achievable while being beautiful. I think I speak for many when I say you provide a great deal of inspiration!
Loving the return to Middle Earth - I started my Pelenor fields box but have been wantinng to get back. (My Army of the dead are hexwraith flame and white drybrush - but really god shout on the metal, wish i’d done that). As for Model - the Witch King is my favourite from the box
Yeah I think the box came out at a strange time for all of us and it was hard to get it finished for some of us! Yeah I think the witch king will be pretty popular to see done!
Great video! As someone who doesn't enjoy painting, I really love simple but effective paint jobs like this. They're oddly satisfying. I'm going to start a Chaos Space Marine army soon with a similar scheme, but just with some dry-brushing like you mentioned, and some airbrushed glowy bits.
Im not sure I'll ever get into LOTR but I love these videos. Im much more interested in The Old World. Cant wait to see you cover it if you decide to get into it.
Oh I will definitely be covering it, counting down the spilt seconds til it’s released even though I already have a million models I could be working on for it right now! I love it’
I think I used the original version of Hexwraith Flame when I did my Army of the Dead miniatures - and again, it was super simple with a light ulthuan dry brush over it at the end I think. And it looks great! One of my favourite instagram posts is my Three Hunters leading the charge with the army of the dead and King / Heralds to mimic the landing scene in the RotK.
Hey Andy love your LOTR content! How much would you change or add for the new King of the Dead with Heralds models? I would say a video may be needed but I fear it could be a waste of your powers 😅 Thanks again mate
Sure its fast but it loooks boring. If I may offer a more vibrant method. 1. Prime bright white 2. Apply tesseract glow 3. Light dry brushing of white 4. Apply Pylar Glaciar 5. Light dry brush white again Super easy and looks way more vibrant and interesting.
Yes! Middle-Earth, wooohooo!! 🎉
Love seeing people enjoy these videos!

Oh brilliant! Hope you like the results!

Yeah it’s a nice way to start rather than getting bogged down with a difficult model! Thanks so much!
Simple but really effective. Thanks Andy 👍🏻
Thanks so much, glad you like the result!
You are a painting and content making machine. Love this middle earth stuff
Thanks so much man, can't wait to start playing some games for it too
Loving your LOTR videos 😎
Aw that’s great to hear, I love making them!
I watched on Monday but it was a stressful day so i watched again today and it was still great. Cheers for the Middle Earth content fella.
Sorry you had a rough day but glad you enjoyed the video, thanks so much
Nice and simple, but really effective. A table full of those would look awesome!
Yeah and they’re really cool to play with as well!
You do such an amazing job doing things that are achievable while being beautiful. I think I speak for many when I say you provide a great deal of inspiration!
Aw man, thank you so much! You're being way too kind there!
It's no problem I'm just enjoying watching the videos😊
Glad to hear that! Thank you!
That looks great and takes no time
It’s crazy quick! Thanks man!

Cool! I really like that you do entire box sets, not just armies. I’d love to see orcs next
Yeah there’s so many different types of models especially in this box, would be a waste not to cover them! Orcs will be on the way soon!
Looks very good. Definitely they should be the easiest army to paint, and base. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching! They’re very quick to paint, but so much fun to play!
Middle Earth Mondays baybeeeee
Let’s goooo
Great video! As someone who doesn't enjoy painting, I really love simple but effective paint jobs like this. They're oddly satisfying. I'm going to start a Chaos Space Marine army soon with a similar scheme, but just with some dry-brushing like you mentioned, and some airbrushed glowy bits.
Oh that would work so well for them! Yesss!
dang that is quick. i often pass by that box when i was in my local GW shop. maybe i should pick up one.
It's a really cool set with a great mix of models to try painting!
7:34 my original models I did with Nihilakh Oxide and white drybrush, but seeing this I might have to go back and repaint them.
That sounds awesome too though! It’s all about what tone you like best, there’s no right or wrong colour if you’re happy with them!
Ооооооо как я ждал видео по Властелину Колец!!!))))))❤Спасибо большое Вам
Glad you’re enjoying the lord of the rings videos!
Cool. Happy Fourth Of July
Same to you! Hope you enjoy 🙌

Ghost armies for the paint win
Always a win with ghosts!
Oh I bet that picture looks great.
Do you varnish in Matt or satin ?? Looks great and the best video I’ve watched on painting these mini 👍🏻
Nether. No varnish is used.
Hey Andy love your LOTR content! How much would you change or add for the new King of the Dead with Heralds models? I would say a video may be needed but I fear it could be a waste of your powers 😅 Thanks again mate
I would int touch them. Just base them up and leave them as they are.
I meant the non translucent set! my mistake haha. Cheers mate hope you had a nice birthday @@MediocreHobbies
It’s a nice simple scheme, would you say tesseract glow would work nicely?
It would give a different tone, it depends what you like the look of best!
I like the simplicity. But why didn‘t you paint the helmet silver? Thx
Just personal choice, you could easily do that with leadbelcher if you wanted!
Tip, instead of 2 abadon black layers just do a black legion layer, takes seconds and requires 1 coat to cover
Thanks man, will try that!
@@MediocreHobbies TY for this tutorial btw using 16 of these for dnd and got them done in an hour
Sure its fast but it loooks boring. If I may offer a more vibrant method.
1. Prime bright white
2. Apply tesseract glow
3. Light dry brushing of white
4. Apply Pylar Glaciar
5. Light dry brush white again
Super easy and looks way more vibrant and interesting.
Sounds great man, always paint how you think it looks best!
Less is more. 🙂
100% when you’re working on big projects and not painting competitions 😂
