The MESBG content is great and I'd love more!
I’d love to make more too! Trying my best to get time for them!
Brilliant. V thorough to newbies like me and my son. More Lord of rings please. Osgiliath armies please!
You got it.
We want more! we need more! great job, I think it will be my 2023 project ! Thanks for sharing amazing contents like that
If you will get more don’t worry.
You've convinced me. I'm gonna have to get this now. Christmas gift to myself.
Hahah good it’s a great set.
Looks great. I'm definitely all in for some more Middle Earth content.
Good. Cos there is a lot coming.
something you could do to make a big piece of leather more interesting is to add some wear and tear, it adds so much character and is surprisingly easy to do. For dark/ brown leather get a paler brighter color and add like edge highlighting on the, eh, outside border of the cape or jacket. Then add some thin scratches where it makes sense or where the cape would normally get some wear and tear. Then tie it all together with a dark brown wash :)
I follow the Vallejo leather painting guide for dark/brown, red, and white-ish leather, works incredibly well AND you get to use the scary colors "smoke" and "wood grain", which will ruin a paint job if used wrong but can add so much if done right :)
Appreciate that. Great tips.
Loving the Lord of the rings content, its what got me into warhammer when I was a kid and really thinking about getting back into it. Keep these videos coming!!!
I will don’t worry.
Cool as always ;) Thank you for sharing.
Anytime pal.
Dude I will probably follow these videos
Awesome man.
Always happy to see some LotR content. These look amazing.
Cheers pal.
Love MESBG. Love to see content creators get behind it too
There will be more I promise.
Really enjoyed that. Great set and a lovely paint job.
Cheers pal.
They are looking awesome! I would probably opt more for a bronze/copper look on the gold parts but that I would have to see when painting them myself
I get that. Probably would work better.
would have love to see the rocks in fisrt with what color u used ans it also misses in the heroes but really nice work, it's always nice to know the names of color used
Good point.
Waiting for more Lord of the Rings content!! Great job, as usual!
It will come don’t worry.
Very much enjoy your videos so I would definitely like to see you paint more Lord of the Rings.
That’s the plan pal.
Would like to see more lotr! Thank you for the video
Oh you will don’t worry about that.
I like them a lot. I'm glad you left the eyes as you did. You have to get really close to see the whites of someone's eye's. On models that small I just don't think it works even if you have the ability to do it. The scale is not enough for you to see them. Hero scale minis maybe but even then I rarely think it works.
Yes I can’t remember if I have ever painted the eyes on a lord of the rings models.
loved the video, are you by any chance going to do a video on Eomer?
I will indeed be doing all
The characters.
Greetings Sir. I enjoyed your video very much. I also wanted to thank you for taking time to answer my questions. I need your help and advice again please. I recently got some new miniatures for a game called Sands of Time. The miniatures are 32MM Anubis Warriors. The models are Black Resin and what I want to do is use a black primer coat with Zenithal grey like you do on your models and also try a Slap Chops method so I can work on my dry brushing skills. As I said the miniatures are Black Resin. So, should I still put a black primer on before I Spray on the Grey primer for the Zenithal or can just spray on the grey? And since I wanted to do the Slap Chop method should I put a coat of Black Primer on before I dry brush the Grey and white primers on? Again, I have enjoyed your painting videos and I have learned a lot and have got some great ideas from watching your paint videos for some other projects I am working on. Happy Holidays and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again
Yes I believe you should spray the model black first. You want a solid coat of primer to help paint stick. You don’t want paint running out of the shadows because it’s bare resin. That would be a disaster. I’m glad you like my videos and are finding them helpful.
More pls
Planning on it! Anything specific?
Has anyone made a list of the paints used please? 😊 To save me the time watching through it again and making the list! 😊
Thanks in advance 😊
Sorry I haven’t got the list to hand.
On first run through we got the following, may have missed some though… excuse spelling.
Scenery Paint
Chaos black
Tallarn sand
Karak stone
Pallid wych flesh
Gore-gore grunta fur
Heroes paint
Wlyd wood
