Thanks for this tutorial ive been sitting on my fell beast spray painted with chaos black and grey seer for 2 months wondering how to move forward with it and now you have cracked it for me. Thank you... This is the best Contrast tutorial I have found online. I shall follow this exact process, as you have used paints which are easily accessible for me aswell. I might slightly change the wings to a more grey colour but other than that I shall be following this textbook example. Thank you so much.

I like the wings. They have a definite organic look to me. I wish i hadnt slept on this box. I feel like i really missed out. Oh well. Thanks for another awesome Middle Earth Monday!
Just got this kit off E-Bay so will use this awesome tutorial to paint mine up. Going to magnetise it so I can swap out the heads and the riders to fit whatever I need to use in a game. Well, that’s my plan!!😂😂
I’ve painted some of very dark minis recently and I realized a neat and easy way to get the dark colors to read better. I make a glaze, just the paint and a lot of water nothing fancy, with a deep green for the dark green bits, a night blue glaze for the dark black blue bits, VERY dark grey with Nuln oil on top for black, and a chocolate brown glaze for the dark brown bits. A quick glaze of that with most attention on the up facing bits and it still looks as dark as it should but, at least to the naked eye, reads a bit easier as green, blue, black, and brown :)
Yours looks great! I still need to build one of mine, but I am thinking of doing some kit bashing and getting rid of the flight stand (I have heard nothing but bad things about it) and doing some sort of ruins base for it to "stand" on, either like it is landing or grabbing rubble.
Very nice tutorial. Might use parts of it for my Witch King on Fell Beast when I get around to building him. But I'd like to try and match it in with the generic Ringwraith on Fell Beast I painted a few years ago. I used Pete the Wargamers tutorial, and there was a lot of glazing which, at the time, I wasn't all that confident at. I am looking forward to the next video.
