You should come to Minas Gerais, visit historic cities like Tiradentes and Ouro Preto. People say that food from Minas Gerais is the best you can get in Brazil. You should try pão de queijo, feijoada, feijão tropeiro. That thing on your plate with the picanha is called farofa! (:

Nova York não tem fora dos parques. A cidade do Porto em Portugal não tem também, principalmente na parte histórica.

Também acho que tem pouco; deveriam haver mais parques como o Trianon em qualquer cidade brasileira, afinal a natureza pródiga é o símbolo maior do Brasil!
Na verdade SP tem muitas árvores mesmo, comparada com outra grandes do mundo.
As do interior tem ainda mais.

São arvores tropicais que só tem na America do Sul/Central... As arvores no hemisferio norte são diferentes...
Acho que é o fato das árvores serem diferentes. Aqui na Alemanha tem árvore em toda Avenida, parque pra todo lado e mesmo assim quando eu piso na Espanha, que é relativamente seca, eu tenho essa mesma impressão de que até Barcelona é mais arborizada que Munique. O que é pra bem dizer relativamente igual nas duas cidades.

Lembro quando fui pra Fortaleza e o uber quase fez a gente voltar pra casa de tanto medo que ele colocou na gente (só pq era um lugar q não tinha muita gente, não era nem periferia nem nada), minha prima ficou com ansiedade e todo nós ficamos tensos, isso é horrível não façam isso.

There’s a (rather sad) saying in Brazil “o Rio tem que acabar” (“Rio has to end”). It’s very unfortunate but our flagship city has been claimed by crime and inefficiency. The mayor has been arrested earlier this week for corruption, and the governor not long before that. Other regions in the country are mostly safe to film, that’s true, but this really depends on the neighborhood you’re visiting (that’s particularly true in cities like Fortaleza and Manaus). If it has lots of tourists it will probably have police. São Paulo has some of the lowest crime rates in the country, and in many neighborhoods it’s about as safe as any European city center.

Municipal Market stinks. First because of Tamanduatei river, second because the fish they sell inside the market.

I dont your plans in Brasil but each region/ state is very different. The north is beautiful with wonderful beaches and different food. Sao Paulo also have beautiful beaches: maresias, ubatuba, guaruja

The Carretera Interoceánica is a paved road between Brazil 🇧🇷 and Peru 🇵🇪 and goes from Sao Paulo to the Port of Ilo in Peru. it goes across the Jungle of Brazil and Peru , climbing up The Highlands to finally ends in the Pacific Ocean

Its actually the biggest city of the whole entire America (so south and north). New york has 8.3 million people while São Paulo has 12.3 million people. 👍

I am Brazilian and i am glad to help you guys. There are a lot of people to do in Sao Paulo and about the safety it is always good to be precaution. since you guys speak English and carries the camera, it can call more attention. However dont let this fear stop your travel adventure. Just be cautions and try to avoid some of the areas that could be more dangerous.

Also, it's a place where it's better to have someone to show you, a friend, because it's so big and things are far from each other.

When you get to go down south Brazil, definately check out Florianapolis, gorgeous beaches. Also, Foz do Iguaçu, is a city that borders Argentina and Paraguay, and there's an enormous waterfall, bigger than Niagara, in the middle of a rainforest. I was born and raised 2 hours away, in Argentina.
We plan on going to both of those places, they sound incredible

Picanha is a typical cut of meat from Brasil. Very popular and delicious. The yellowish side served on your plate was Farofa. It is made of flaked corn meal and they added a lot of things in it. It is often served with meat.
You guys should try to find places that offer rodizio. Rodizio is a style that you seat and they come to your table serving meat. They will serve different cuts and style of meat in a rodizio and they have a buffet with salad, pasta, dessert, honestly it is delicious but please if you visit this place the secret is not eat too much before arrive. When you dont want to eat you just say no and they dont put on your plate, sometimes they have a card t say yes or no. They also offer rodizio of pizza and sushi. Delicious. São Paulo is a very safe city nowdays(i can tell is more safe than new york problably) and we have one of the best metro(subways) systens of the world!!
