Hello Travelbum. Rio is wonderful. Beautyful beaches, nice weather, several places to visit, kind people, bossa nova, samba. One of the cities that everybody has to visit. The best in southamerica. I recommend to you the new " Museo del Mañana", a trip on ship to Niteroi to visit famous Museum Oscar Niemeyer, and a night at "bip bip" bar in Copacabana to enjoy locals singing samba.
glad I found this, been going to Rio for my birthday in January for the past few years but thought I wouldn't be able to get there this time. The weather in January is delicious!
It depends where de person lives. If the person lives in a cold region and has very light skin, it can be dangerous much sun exposure without protection (burns, blisters, future skin cancer etc.). But here in Brazil and Latin America in general, except some places, people are used to take more sun most of the year. So, even people of European descent darken more easily because they produce melanin (a natural sunscreen) quicker and faster. They are even seen as "latins" (non whites) when they travel to the US because many people don't realise they are tanned and don't observe their features, just the dark hair and eyes ("latins"). With exceptions, we don't need much sunscreen in general, but during the strong summer it's good for all, not only light skinned people.

We're glad you guys enjoyed Brazil. One of the things that we love about Brazil is the fact there are vendors for almost any and everything. Queijo coalho by the beach is a must. Havaianas is a Brazilian brand and a pair of those is something most Brazilians have. It's simple and comfortable. And is national pride. Hope you can come back anytime soon and perhaps explore South Brazil (Gramado, Pomerode, Blumenau, Floripa) or even the hot springs at Caldas Novas, etc.
Cute dress Linsey. So glad the locals are looking out for you guys and giving you the safety tips you need to have a great trip without any problems. The food and drinks there look amazing! If you do get a sunburn Aloe Vera jell is the best thing and eating something with tomato paste helps your skin to heal. Aloe is also great for bug bites and repels sketers. Just be sure that it's as close to 100% aloe as possible. God bless and take care.

I spent 2 weeks there in 1984. I was 14, we went on a different tour every day. My dad wanted to skip out and take me and my brother to the Amazon river but that never happened. Best trip ever, there was a dirtbike shop around the corner from our hotel, that was cool.
It’s “Museu do Amanhã”, in portuguese, please.
glad I found this, been going to Rio for my birthday in January for the past few years but thought I wouldn't be able to get there this time. The weather in January is delicious!
Please, don't forget the sunblock !never ever!
We should have used more
@@lindseyfw2903 it was too bad you didn't show the Subway, underground trains in São Paulo!!!
I’ll be traveling to Rio next week so I wanna thank you for this recent vlog ❤️ I’m so excited 😆

The coolest part is that If you get a bus you are, actualy in about of 15 or 30 minutes from lots of other famous beachs of Rio, like Flamengo, Botafogo, Leblon, São Conrado, etc
Next time go to Barra da Tijuca - neighborhood and beach - one of the most beautiful neighborhood in Rio! And visit also its malls and restaurants. Visit also (in Tijuca, not Barra da Tijuca) the biggest urban forest in the world! ;)
I’m loving watching my beautiful country through your vlogs! I’m in the US and I miss it! Rio is an awesome state! Enjoy your staying!
I am glad you're having fun! Those cheese sticks look really tasty! Christmas on a beach moved right up on my bucket list just watching you chilling on the beach in December!
PS: still jealous on your super nice weather!:)
Hugs from almost frozen London
Hugs! Stay warm 🤗
a really nice vlog you got... we enjoy your videos of brasil and rang the bell for more 😀
Hey guys, you need to taste "açaí" and visit some places like Arraial do Cabo, Cabo Frio and Búzios (all these places in Rio de Janeiro). You also need to visit some states here in Northeastern of Brazil. Like Bahia (Chapada Diamantina, Paraty, Salvador, Trancoso), Alagoas (Maragogi), Pernambuco (Recife, Olinda, Itamaracá), Rio Grande do Norte (Natal) and Ceará (Fortaleza and Jericoacoara). Have fun guys!! I love your channel!
I’ve been to Búzios, Rio, Fortaleza, Santos, São Paulo, Recife, Foz do Iguaçu, Olinda and a few other places and I loved them. Brasil is fantastic
It's soooo fun to see the Brazilians guys speaking Portuguese slowly, thinking that because of the speaking speed, they will get it hahaha
it is a little boring for people to think that brazil is a tropical country. brazil is a temperate country because in the south we have snow every year and in the south the climate the culture and ethnicity of people are similar to that of europe. the culture there had a German, Swiss, Spanish influence as well as the different landscapes without these palm trees. there are pines, araucarias which is a cold climate tree and the lovely pampas q are grassy fields with few trees and it is very cold in terms of climate. so don’t think that Brazil is just a beach, party, people with bikini, Latinos. because we have a long territory and not only rio de janeiro. I'm brazilian and my acestrality are spanish , portuguese and irish
I was waiting for this video!
Hope you enjoyed
ITS HERE
@@lindseyfw2903 sure did enjoy a lot!
If you get the chance to come back to Brazil, you should visit Maceió(Alagoas). It´s such a beautiful place. There are lots of beaches and I think you´ll like it!

Trust me, it's sad but true.
I'm BR.
Isso que pensei tb. Eles são muito inocentes
hi i'm brazilian i liked your video i put a caption of course i used the translator to send this
Dica no Rio é vocês irem para Arraial do Cabo. É beautiful!!
Eles estavam em Copacabana! Poxa! Eu ia hoje mas choveu muito aqui 😀
Wow oh wow..look at the beach! This has been what I seriously LACKING from where I live! I'm 10000% jealous!😛
Never mind, 80% brazilians don´t live near by beaches :-)
ahh I miss rio! Saudade.❤️
❤️
Cute dress Linsey. So glad the locals are looking out for you guys and giving you the safety tips you need to have a great trip without any problems. The food and drinks there look amazing! If you do get a sunburn Aloe Vera jell is the best thing and eating something with tomato paste helps your skin to heal. Aloe is also great for bug bites and repels sketers. Just be sure that it's as close to 100% aloe as possible. God bless and take care.
Thank you, we accidentally got burned when it was cloudy. We had to get some aloe.
@@lindseyfw2903 Glad you now have aloe. 👍💕🙏
hello, come visit Fortaleza-Ceará, place of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, has the largest water park in latin america, the culture here is unique, the food is super exotic
I love Brazilian music and dancing; thank you for the introduction of Copacabana beach. I love to visit there.
✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
Noooo.kkk that is a trap. Base camp. Barra da Tijuca. Must places to visit in Rio. Buzios and Petropolis. One is the seaside. The other is the countryside. Trust me and good luck.
Hello guys! I fell by parachute in this video! but it was worth it. very nice to share with us a beautiful beach day in my Brazil. I never went to Rio de Janeiro precisely because of the great violence! my favorite beach spot is UBATUBA- North coast of São Paulo. one of the best places with paradisiacal beaches! I subscribed to your channel I loved you, are very friendly! next summer in the northern hemisphere, come to Nederland, SCHEVENINGEN beach
, HOEK VAN HOLAND
, NOORDWIJK
, NESSELANDE
I live here in Den Haag for 5 years, very cool here. but very calm, no fuss. old Amsterdam is a place of excitement.
That’s great to have food and drink vendors come to you while you enjoy the beach. So neat!! How many different ones were out there on a Sunday?
At least 20.... you don’t even have to leave your towel
The drinks look amazing! Delicious. Relaxing but lively day.
No sunscreen vendors though?
Most beaches in the USSA it's prohibited to drink beer or caipirinha. I hope Brazil holds on, with Mexico, as the freest countries in the Amerikas.
I really enjoyed the video guys! 👏👏
I like the idea about including the budget on your videos
Thanks :) we thought it could be interesting
thanks for the video.. I go there every month lol... as brazilian im happy you had a good time
I hope you guys visit Maceio, Alagoas in Northeastern Brazil. It is amazing and it is called Brazilian Caribbean, but not gonna lie it is prettier than the Caribbean.
I'm from Rio🇧🇷💗I loved the vlog
