I've done this boat trip more than 5 times and I must say I'll do it every single time I go there. It's always a different experience with different islands and swiming places. Paraty is my favorite place ever

THE GREEN COAST IS FANTASTIC, BUT WHY NOT VISITING THE LAKE REGION (CABO FRIO/ARRAIAL DO CABO AND BUZIOS) THE SO CALLED BRAZILIAN CARIBEAN!, ITS THE SAME DISTANCE FROM RIO (150 KMS)TO NORTH OF RIO DE JANEIRO STATE, GREAT VIDEO!!! WONDERFUL SEA !!!

The fiddle crabs have one claw that is larger than the other. Have you seen any hermit crabs? They appear with a shell on their bodies.

Glad to know you have had great times in Brazil. FYI, Paraty is the end line of the Estrada Real (Royal Road). This road was used during the colonial period to bring the gold mined at the mountains of Minas Gerais to be shipped to Portugal. If you have time, I suggest you visit Ouro Preto and Tiradentes. Two well-preserved jewels of Brazilian history. You will love them.

Paraty is beautiful, visit the South of Brazil, Florianopolis, Balneario Camboriu, Guarda do Embau, Praia do Rosa
Unfortunatelly the day was so cloudy. The sea color images get astonishin when the sky is cloudless blue.

Try to go to Trindade village to visit the beaches, waterfalls and Cachadaço natural pool. Don't miss some of the beautiful waterfalls very close to Paraty.

amazing trip! Ubatuba is a very close city to Paraty, like 30 min, it have incredible beaches and beautiful landescapes, you should pass by. the prettiest beaches are not in town, they stay in the middle of the way to ubatuba!! In paraty you can pick up the town bus to those places for like 4 reais
Paraty is really beautiful...
If you want bluer waters in Rio state, go to Arraial do Cabo city and take a boat cruise there. (Because of covid, the city is open only for visitors with a hotel or AirBnb reservation). But, as you are going to Bahia next, I recommend you going far north, to Maragogi coral reefs, in Alagoas.
Now, if you want nature, blue river waters and waterfalls, don't miss Bonito city, in Mato Grosso do Sul.

Você foi hoje gostou não deixe de ir para trindade lá tem lindas praias a piscina natural do cachadaço outro lugar que é bom é as cachoeiras da pedra branca e tobogã na estrada de Cunha ,tem também Paraty mirim tem até índios e tem passeios de escuna para o saco do Mamágua que é lindo aonde foi gravado o filme lua nova da saga crepúsculo , passear a noite na cidade histórica é uma delicia entre outras coisas que tem aí em paraty amo esse lugar e bom passeio

I don't know which city you're planning to go to to visit the Amazon rainforest, but you have basically two grand options: either Manaus, which is in the middle of the Amazon, or Belém do Pará, which is on the border of the forest. Personally, I have a preference for Belém, I think it's a more fleshed out city in terms of options for tourism; the cuisine is incredible and it is THE land of açaí.

There's a famous traditional Brazilian dish called Moqueca, which is fish with coconut milk, there are many restaurants in Paraty that serve it, give it a try!

The capixabas (kapeeshabus - people from Espírito Santo state) has claimed that the real moqueca is only made by them. The others ones are just cooked fish. Of course I´m kidding with you but the capixabas's claiming is true.

Oh my..this is absolutely a wonderful video. I loved it a lot. I smiled a lot while watching it... especially seeing Alex n Lindsey so happy having fun on the beach! At the end of the video, I simply laughed; Alex, you were so sweetly "bad". You laughed at Lindsey climbing up on the boat!🤣 Thank you both for the video. But I must say one thing: while I was so happy watching it, I was also feeling a bit of "jealousy"! Well, I want the beach but I am in the bitter cold winter. This Christmas, we in BC have been told not to visit family folks and friends who are not living in the same household. So, I can go NOWHERE!!!

Paraty is a charming old town with many houses built in the 18th century, very well kept. And the nature around is perfect. But most foreigners go to Rio and don't even hear about Paraty.
Part of the brazilian royal family lives in Paraty. You can talk to a prince sitting by a doorway with his dog and cigar, or you can stay at the other prince's hotel.

The tanned skin is a major plus for both of you. I like the little shops on the pier. When go on boats like where the gathering is very intimate, guaranteed the food is way better than a boat with lots of people. Beautiful water lovely sights. The striped fish where i come from is called "Tiger Fish" such fun. So glad you both got a sea bath..the saltwater is good for you.
