This Wild West-themed run 'n gun game is an evolution of Green Beret/Rush 'n Attack. Your Stetson-wearing sheriff must grab sacks of bullion stowed aboard a series of speeding locomotives, dealing with various bad guys with whip, fists and trusty six-shooter. Each weapon has its own strengths and weaknesses, and each offers a different gameplay experience.
I recorded three separate loops to showcase each of the weapons in action.

@ es verdad se parecía a MA. La música es brutal. Saludos desde Barcelona aunque donde más jugué a este juego fue en Teruel en mis vacaciones.

Recuerdo que lo di vuelta 3 veces y cuando comencé con la cuarta vez, el dueño del local fue y me apagó la arcade diciendo que ya había jugado bastante...era verdad, pero nunca perdí. 😅

yea after you whippd the gun out the sound was familier i really think this might be that game i remember if not then i have no idea its the closest that matches my memory of the game i played when i was super young
dang now im not sure anymore i remember this old western game i played real young super young i found iron horse in aq game compliation and said thats the game though i dont remember starting out on the train i remember briefly rideing on a horse i also dont remember the whip the game i remember you had a gun and was dressed in white but i could be wrong it was unbelivably long ago
Youre thinking of Express Raider, released in the same year. In that one you were an outlaw and the goal was to rob the train. Even numbered levels had you on horseback alongside the train shooting attackers hiding in the train cars
@@leroyvisiongames2294 yes that sounds like exactly it I remember pretty early on you jumped onto the train fighting them off and even went inside the cars imma look it up now now just to find that one fighting game I played as a kid but I seriously fought I’ll find it seems pretty obscure

Looks like a reskin of Jailbreak or Rush N Attack.
Konami had a pretty distinct art style for their games around that time--they loved black outlines that only go around the outside of the character and nowhere else, it seems
The music is more Sega Genesis than 1986 Konami hardware
The Genesis' sound chip is very similar to the early FM synth chips; it's more or less identical to the chips Sega themselves used in the Sega system 16 hardware and some of the early Super Scaler games

Reminds me of Skull and Crossbones with a Western theme. Nice playthrough, but on the weapon select screen are those the prices of the weapons or a score modifier? Seems your own fists shouldn't cost $200.
It's a score modifier 😄 The whip offers the biggest advantage because it hits all enemies in its path.
@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays Whip: best range but slow. Pistol: Better rate of fire but shorter range. Fists aka "unarmed combat": Double reward, but shortest range. Special Weapons? Lanterns burn what's in your path. Bombs are grenades. Lassos are "triple shot" that can get three enemies. This was a classic with fond memories in the arcades. You wonder if this later led to "The Lone Ranger" later on as well as the "Red Dead" games.
Also good: if you used "fists" you had the chance to send a crook's body flying with a powerful punch and take out anyone that was in his path. Also, besides bombs, lanterns/fire-bombs, and lassos, the crooks also made use of knives and TNT (which you couldn't use). Did you get a bonus for any unused special weapons? And was the "time bar" a case where if it was full, you lost a life?
@@theodorehsu5023 If the time bar is full, you run out of time and lose one life. And no, you get no bonus points from unused special weapons. They are saved, unless it's every 5th stage, then it's gone, so use them whenever you can.
@@addisonfung5009 So it's the "reverse" of a normal countdown timer, instead of it running out, you don't want it to finish, or YOU are finished. And I understand, use them while you have the special weapons. You just got to be careful if you're down to a single punch and not a whip or a pistol, your range is WAY shorter then.
