- While snorkeling in Disney's Snorkeling Lagoon at Castaway Cay in February, 2010, I came across the last known Nautilus Submarine from Disney's long lost ride, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. While the original sail and dorsal fin are gone, the hull and tail fin are still in great shape waiting for someone to find them. If you are visiting Castaway Cay, make sure you go ALL the way out to see this beautiful piece of Disney History.

holy crap, I may have ridden on that very sub when I was a kid!
Little bummed that the top part of the sub is gone... That's what made this version of the Nautilus so awesome looking. Now it just looks like a regular looking sub. Quite a shame.
My family and I traveled back to Castaway Cay in October and I'm happy to report she is still there, in just about the same condition she was in 2010. Unfortunately I don't have an underwater camera any longer.
When my dad was little he loved that ride, and when we went to castaway cay and found the sub he said hello old friend
I think it's a nice resting place. Many were just scrapped.
i can't believe disney would allow such a horrible fate to befall the submarine that is still generating it revenue through video sales and other items. i am really disappointed in them for this, it is a shame to see such a beautiful ship in such a sad way.
Could someone cut the cargo netting and go inside? That would kick ass.
are there a lot of different hidden treasures like this while diving at castaway cay? can't wait =D
the one Submarine voyage at Disney CA suppose to be a Atlantis Expedition after the movie Atlantis the lost empire but nooooo they had to put as a Finding Nemo i rode on it it was stupid and its a waste of time because of the fucking lines that are too long and just a plain waste of time
Except that the Nautilus fleet, bar three, were scrapped...
Sadly. I think a few get put on display every now and then but otherwise are kept in storage somewherwe
Sad, I saw her two years ago. If they'd only kept them a little longer and turned the sub lagoon into a stinkin' playground they could've brought them back as a Finding Nemo ride like at Disney CA. (Better than what happened to them)
are you snorkeling in the lagoon and how deep is the lagoon?
Russian Bot don't be a fucking jackass
spooky cup04 what lmao
20000 leagues made Disney. Sad that Disney USA has turned it's back on an iconic submarine and epic story. For God's sake, do not remake the movie!
