- Nemo Lives... and better yet, his fabulous submarine, the Nautilus, prowls the depths in search of prey as well.
This video shows the completed model in action. Full information about this buildup can be seen on my site at www.rc-sub.com. Развлечения
I am 74-years old, and this was my favorite fantasy boat, and it still is. Your wonderful recreation made me feel young again!!
I saw this movie was I was prob 7 and the design always made me feel anxious
I'm 75 and I agree! My favorite movie, along with Forbidden Planet. I loved the Nautilis and this is great
@@seanautilis15
Yup. Forbidden Planet is the greatest single scifi movie ever made... period.
Lmao I'm 12 and yet this is one of my favourite movies
@@tiffsaver It still has the most terrifying unnerving soundtrack and creepy monster from the id. Great cast and the retro futuristic vibe just makes it cooler as it ages
I've always LOVED the Disney "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" Nautilus design; what an extraordinary job you did with the RC conversion. Truly professional videography. The addition of Captain Nemo's organ music was the icing on the cake. What a great teacher you are!
2:20, for a second I thought you had a Tiger.
What beautiful control and trim!
You only forgot one thing in the video: a surfacred night run across the pool, lights glowing!
YES! How awesome/beautiful would that be?
Sixty-years ago, I first saw this incredible boat in the movie, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," a Disney classic. So to see this gem so faithfully and beautifully reproduced nearly brought tears to my eyes. THANK YOU for making an old boy's dream come true.
I have a 7' William Babington version of this; after 30 years, it no longer lights up, and it has suffered some damage from being relocated, but it is still the center piece of my living room. I'm 67 years old, and have been a fan of Jules Verne's stories since I was in 3rd Grade; I lived aboard a cabin cruiser named Nautilus for over a decade, and got to go aboard a real submarine in Bali on my honeymoon. This is a physical manifestation of my dreams come true! Amazing model!
I love the fact that you put Nemo playing the organ the music is just one of the many calling cards to 20,000 leagues under the sea
Beautiful! Outstanding work and pilotage.
Loved the movie sound effects and "Toccata and Fugue," played by Captain Nemo, I'm sure. The Cat Monster from Mystery Island was a nice touch, too.
Got to mention Ned Land - my hero as soon as that movie came out! I was nine, and even memorized "Whale of a Tale" and performed it. RIP Kirk Douglas.
Awesome replica man! One things for sure, Jules Verne had an incredible imagination, and you brought it to life.
To be fair....Harper Goff designed this version of the Nautilus. His imagination was amazing.
I know it's late, but I saw your comment about this sub. Jules Verne had nothing to do with it. This design was by Harper Goff, inspired by the REAL Nautilus, by captain Nemo, aka st. Germain.
In one thrilling scene we witness the island of the giant orange cat !!!.
Harper Goff also designed the submarine " Proteus" for the movie " Fantastic Voyage" in 1966.
It's absolutely beautiful!! Great work!!
best replica i have EVER seen, and the cat in the video made this 100 times better lol awesome kit man, i would love to have your talent
Paul Duplessie Agree
Kirk Douglas looking out the window, he played harpooner Nedland
@@PeterAgostiniJdcap26 chase unwanted guests out of your pool.
Chase annoying swimmers out of your pool, get rid of unwanted.guests. " Raming Speed!!!"
The most iconic submarine ever seen on film, in its natural habitat.
Fantabulous!
I am always amazed at the amount of time and intelligence people put into hobbies that I never even knew existed. The video and submarine are SO cool. Great job.
Seeing that thing under the water was the coolest thing I've seen for a long time.
you NEED to use this in a short film! Its amazing!
Absolutely gorgeous , and the details of Ned in the captains cabin viewport and Nemo at the helm are the clinchers!
This is amazing! I love this Disney movie and the submarine as well! I'm very impressed of this model! Thanks for showing to us RCSubGuy.
Really enjoyed this. I have always loved it's design. Well done!
The kit is available from the nautilusdrydocks (dot com). Lighting is fully integrated into the model and they are not removable.
Amazing. My two favorite Parts were Ned Land on the Observation Deck, And the Cat going "What the heck is that?" :)
Amazing RC model! Yes, I noticed the Nautilus does not have any bow planes. Ned Land in Nemo's cabin is a masterful touch.
cool. gonna have to watch the film again. always loved the sub design.
The coolest most entertaining RC Sub video around. Great build and paint. Plus some dang good camera work. Very, very well done.
EXCELLENT REPLICAN OF THAT SUBMARINE, WE COULD STAND TO SEE MORE OF THE NAUTILUS!
A true work of art !! You are quite the artisan
Beautiful work of art and design BRAVO
I always loved the movie and this sub is magnificent!
Ok now that was super awesome to watch. The maneuverability of that sub was incredible to see. Looks gorgeous as well. The detail was impressive.
Long time finding this clip, but worth the wait! This is a brilliant model, and I was blown away at the end with the little Kirk Douglas looking out the viewport of the sub!
This is absolutely amazing.
That cat saying, I want that fish ! But it is a beautiful model .
This just never ever gets old.
One of my most favorite videos
I have watched your video a bunch of times and I am still impressed with the detail and operation of your Nautilus. Having worked in a Hobby store for a number of years, built and destroyed and rebuilt again just about everything, I know the complexity "sometimes frustration" involved with a model such as yours. "I want one" I just wouldn't be able to afford the model or pool construction.
In any version of the story, THIS is still the best version of the Nautilus ever. Good job, sir. 👍
I wish I could post pictures here, I just had a 13-in 3D printed model done by a friend with non-toxic plastics, painted with aquarium safe paints, the eyes and Nemo's cabin were painted with a aquarium safe glow in the dark paint. The Nautilus naturally floats at the water line and stays upright. So I suspended it mid tank with a rock and a fishing line.... Took the fish a while to get used to it. But with a couple of sunken ships at the bottom for my huge 9-in pleco.... Natural plans. Natural lighting... It looks absolutely fantastic!
Sounds awesome!
Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and post in HD. An excellent model too.
peaceful to watch...thank you
One of the coolest toys I have ever seen!!!
Outstanding build!
Well done Sir, well done. Beautiful detail, beautiful craftsmanship. Outstanding performance in the water.
Thank you kindly
EXCELLENT job ... Scale speed too ... I'm impressed! :)
absolutely unbelievable! a real genius piece of work! kudos!
Stellar craftsmanship! Wish I had one!!
That is absolutely amazing!
Amazing .i am surprised Disney officials have not approach you and offered you a job .
Truly a labor of love
Just watching this was rather mesmerizing!
Absolutely amazing!
Epic! You have really created a piece of art. Bravo!
OK, that's probably the coolest thing I've seen in the last year or so. Awesome stuff.
beautiful the way you did that!
Talent at its finest 👏👏👏👌👌👌
Just the coolest thing I have seen in a while..very nice
Just gorgeous !
Awesome, Beatifull. Thanks
The air in the ballast tank is forced through small holes into the two electronics compartments. As the water level rises, the pressure builds in these two sections. As such, you can get about 80% of the tank full before the pump no longer has sufficient power to move more water. As the water is pumped out, the air returns to the ballast tank.
Its just sooooo beautiful!
Awesome job!! Smoke'n cool!
Very nice work! I am very impressed.
Outstanding!
best fictional vehicle ever conceived in my opinion, and a SPECTACULAR physical and functional representation of her here sir, well done sir... well done...
That is fantastic, very well done sir.

The greatest R/C model of them all.
As an old boat sailor, I like it!
That's fantastic, great video.
That behaves really well. You have buit a real masterpiece there.
Really cool!
Spectacular!
This was really fun to see.
Wonderful work and the cat
found it absolutely fascinating!
There's your seal of approvel!
I got the web site! Thx alot Capt. Fair winds & following seas.
This is beyond epic. I need to get this.
Your creation proves that a real sub could be built to the movie’s design and be fully navigable. Well done! Now, find a squid to play with it!😜
Awesome!!!! Il'l have to bring over my RC giant squid for a play date!
wow, you did a wonderful job! my compliments to you
Out standing
absoluetely fantastic, am building 2 r/c models ob bismarck and hood
Great movie and the nautilus, even better it's fully remote controlled and dive and surface, fantastic.
the bow thruster is very cool Great job. You must have a lot of time and money!
Nice music choice. :)
She is beautiful!
The addition of the music got a sub 😉
I'm trying to recreate with a 3d printed submarine with a different way of underwater propulsion created by a genius inventor, your site will help me a lot in the process, thank you for sharing all of your expertise, hopefully mine will work for it implicates de awakening of electro magneto dynamic forces of water.
What a beautiful inspiring work of yours, your dedication is incredible, it looks Majestic....With no doubt you have the greatest most technical site even to this date!!
very cool !!!
that model handles well in the water!
What a fantastic job. It looks great, and you should be very proud of what you've done. Now I'm going to have to go watch the movie. Where's my popcorn 🍿?
The Cat-ptain Nemo gave quite a performance as well.
That was so cool
So which do you enjoy more? The building process or actually taking the culmination of that build 'out to sea'? Amazing work.
Brilliant!!!!! :)
Amazing! Love it. You might play the Bach Toccata when sub is not dived from the boat through a speaker...?
Awesome!
omg! that is beautiful! if I were a billionaire I would build one full scale. And that dirigible thing too
Perfect.
Saw the movie many times.
Is the cat a Bengal?
Do you have an electrified deck if the cat attacks?
" RAMING SPEED!!!!"
I could almost imagine a miniature squid moving in!
Impressive.
Any space left for a pipe organ?
That plays over loud speakers?!?
So agreed, good idea!!
VEEEERY COOL!~
Very nice
