- At Disney’s private island Castaway Cay they have a special area specifically for snorkeling. In this video I share my experience and tell you what you can expect when you snorkel at Castaway Cay. Whether it’s your first-time snorkeling (like it was for me) or if you’ve been many times you will be able to have a great time. You will see tropical fish and specific Disney surprises that have been sunk for you to discover. I’ll also talk about the current price of this port adventure and show some of my GoPro Hero 5 footage.
I love to snorkel. I like that Disney have items to encourage the sea life.

Ah man snorkeling is so relaxing! We ended up bringing our own snorkeling gear! Brings me back to when we did it! So fun!

Last time we were there we went out of our comfort zone and tried the jet ski adventure. It was so much fun!
Those Jet Ski's are awesome! I'm glad you were able to experience them. I also tried those out right before I went snorkeling and it was out of my comfort zone too...I was the slow driver of the group haha. But still such a fun way to see the island!
We did the stingray, snorkel and bike package at Castaway Cay but never got around to actually snorkeling except with the stingrays. We have another cruise booked for next year so will definitely do it that time. Thanks for breaking down the whole experience.

My son and love snorkeling there got to go to the back half next time there is a few sea turtles back there and they are really friendly

I LOVE snorkeling there... have done it twice. It is tiring but also SUPER relaxing. I am cruising this weekend but the snorkling area is closed because everything got buried in sand from Dorian.

I always wanted to see the 20000 leagues under the sea submarine and you found it!. Isn't Castaway Cay the highlight of the cruise? Disney knows how to do it right. The Island is pure paradise!
It really is the highlight of the cruise. I've looked at other itineraries around the world, but the idea of missing out on Castaway Cay on a Disney cruise just doesn't seem right haha. And it was fun to find the 20,000 leagues sub, I hope to find more items on my next visit! Hope you can make it back sometime soon too!
@@EricD Our last cruise I believe was in 2009 on the Disney dream and we did the 5 day Double dip where we went to castaway cay at the beginning of the cruise And the end of the cruise, It was awesome

If I bring my own snorkels, do I still have to pay to get in this snorkeling section?
The snorkeling section is open to everyone. How it worked when I was there, if you brought your own snorkel then you don't have to pay any rental fee, but everyone is required to wear a little flotation vest. They weren't charging for those if you brought your own snorkel, but you just had to grab one before going in the water. Hope that helps.
