No. It's has LucasFilm's current management's paw prints all over it. I'm not buying a DVD for Episode VIII, I'm not watching _Solo,_ and I'm not going to see Episode IX. Perhaps if I see any of them on bootleg I'll give them a gander, but I make no promises.

If you’re gonna miss a Star Wars Movie that is DEFINITELY the one to miss. He would have been very disappointed had he chosen to see Solo.... the movie was dogshit. I’m sure the premiere makes it seem better but the movie on its own is a major flop

Its a shame that Solo was a dumpster fire that rivaled Suicide Squad. What an epic character catastrophically ruined by a cash-grab script and terrible acting (bar a few).
