How to Fix AMD Software Not Opening

I don't think that AMD is actually working on fixing this.
However I believe I have found something (at least something that works for me).
As always, I am not responsible for what you do, and if following my guide makes your computer explode, it's not my fault.
I am asking some of you who are affected by this bug and ever had Epic Games Launcher installed to try this:
Exit Epic Games Launcher if you have it open (right click it in the notification tray and click Exit)
Open the folder %localappdata%\EpicGamesLauncher\Saved
Rename the Logs folder to something like LogsBackup
Try to open Radeon Software and hope it works
Please respond if it fixed your issue or not, or if you don't even have the EpicGamesLauncher folder.
If I find out it doesn't actually work and it was just a coincidence, I will edit this post to correct it.

same. It started working for me randomly some day and when I clicked install new drivers in the Adrenalin app, I got some error and intallining finish and now the story begins from the start hahaha
I can't get it how top2 graphics company can afford having that shit drivers/apps.
@@eXactiveQ fix itself when i reinstall rgb 2.0, working at the moment, don't know what happend, maybe the newer version of rgb fusion. 🤷
It tells me failed when I try to reinstall the package.msix. Does not declare support for an external location

Deleting CN folder worked. Now I can enjoy 4:3 games on 16:9 monitor in all their stretched glory. Many thanks!

It's weird, I have it updated last time and I see it runs at background and I see the Symbol on Tasks but If I want to open it, it close or vanished idk but it not runs at background.. wtf?
"open the AMD software" and I tried the old version and It has no problem idk but if I update to newest I have this issue

I'm having issues with the software not launching on Windows 11, it was fine on Windows 10
i've been having this issue for months now. ALSO my computer will randomly have the video freeze and i'll have to do a hard reboot.
Ive installed new drivers, newest adrenaline software and the problem returns within a week!!!! 12/06/2023 today, it happened again and i had installed the newest software for video card and adrenaline a few days prior... this is beyond FU**IN annoying and im tellin you, makes me wanna go back to NVIDIA cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 more week and if this aint fixed ill spend the 1000+ for th NVIDIA card and burn the AMD crads with a smile on my face!
Nothing changed and i shows cannot install and error
I even went into safe mode, used DDU to remove all drivers, reinstalled and it still does not open. I am thinking of returning my AMD card and buying an RTX 4080 at this point. So frustrating. 😖

yep.. i was thinking the same thing, been working at this bitch for 12 hours, i went from nvidia to radeon 2 months ago and ive never been so frustrated
@@Jwebbplayz those radeon cards crash very often too. I returned the 7900xtx and switched to a 4080, all problems gone.

you cant install the package because of a permission control, i had same issue with trying to do amd chipset
Thank you, I just removed CN folder from appdata - amd directory and it FINALLY opened (Before that, i just reinstalled the program, maybe that did something)
for me none helped but i figured it out it was a compability problem with my cpu driver from amd and the grahic driver just if someone has the same problem try unistalling the cpu driver befor reinstalling the gpu driver and than istall the cpu driver again.
do you have an AMD CPU as well?
Still didn't work, my first experience with amd. Can't say I'm a fan. Only thing I can do is disable the graphics card and then it opens.

The solution for me was the external ssd. Just had to unplug it and it fixed itself.

I updated my radeon driver with the latest Fortnite patch and Adrenaline stopped working.

This worked for me too. So now, the Epic game launcher breaks AMD driver too. And people blame AMD for it.
