One thing I’d add is if you’re working on a pre-2017 DAY CAB truck where the engine is shoehorned under the cab, make sure you pop the pass through gasket off of number 6 before you try to pull the line out, it gives you that little bit of room you need to get the line out with the cab in the way
How common is it to replace one injector that is bad and then another one gives out. I replaced injector 4 due to failure and now I'm getting codes that my injector 3 is out.

Common rail is like a manifold distributes fuel in a closed high pressure system. Dd15 uses common rail. If it is not common rail it is fuel pump. Maintenance? Change o rings and decarbonize not much else to do with it
Hello I got a question. I did a replace a number 3 injector, replace the injector harness, replace the fuel line, and the after I replace it put everything back together and I try to start a truck. It will crank couple times, ( weak crank and stop cranking and it won't let me start a truck, did pump the fuel try to start the truck through there starter and it won't start, I didn't programmed the new injector in the computer, do you think it will be the problem that the truck won't start or could be anything else, maybe the starter but before I did this job, the truck start fine. I don't know, if you have any idea, please let me know. Thank you

I have changed all fuel filters and still running the same that’s why I assumed it was a clogged injector or something along the lines. There was a lot of dirt in the bottom of the water/ fuel separator housing when I changed filter that I’ve never seen before. Gonna take to the shop Monday just wanted to know what the code was so I have an idea or if it was something I can do myself!

Unfortunately now a few days later coming down the highway I started losing power when I as I stepped on the fuel peddle and the my glass fuel separator bowl exploded. I’m assuming from too much fuel pressure. Never heard of this happening. Can’t even find info on this. Have u ever seen anything like this before? Can you point me in the right direction? On the side of the road now. Anything would help. At least so I can get to the next rest stop.
What I don't understand is that on these videos is your told not to use power tools but the manufacturer uses them, in fact I'm quite sure everything is automated during manufacturing

@@TATEXPRESSINC Being said I dont see a lot of high mileage units because were an oem. Most units are under warranty and they only cover the grommet if its leaking.

Chris, that is an abnormal operation on #6. I would recommend checking and testing circuit before condemning any parts. Thanks for watching

The fuel lines are not one time use. You are thinking of cummins. The high pressure lines going to the fuel pump are one time use.
Ryan, you may attempt to reuse but, should run a fuel pressure test to ensure no leaks. Thanks for the input.
What happen if you don’t calibrate?
Engine will not run as efficient if injectors are not calibrated.

Injector lines are not 1 time use as per psl.
Per PSL the pump to rail are 1 time use. Injector lines can be reused but, if high mileage its best to replace to avoid having to revisit repair.
@@TATEXPRESSINC I work at an oem and when an injector grommet is leaking we just replace the grommet not the fuel line.
